We had seepage in the crawl space and installing french drains around the foundation did not help. Pro-drain was able to come within 2 days of my call, came on time and found the problem. The drainpipe that the french drains tied into was clogged. Shane had the problem diagnosed and solved within 45 minutes.

During the original construction of my house (six years ago), the underground water main had frozen and leaked 35,000 gallons of water, turning the entire area into a small lake. Consequently, the repairs had to be done at below freezing temperatures in standing water. So it is not surprising that the PVC cement did not get applied correctly. Six years later (recently), one of the repaired fittings finally started leaking at the joint.
The leak was averaging about 1/2 gallon per minute. This is roughly equivalent to a single bathroom faucet turned almost all the way on. That adds up fast...the monthly water bill with >20,000 gallons of usage was rather expensive. But since the leak was right next to the foundation of the house, with lots of underground gravel in the area, the drainage was good enough to hide all of this water below the surface, making it very hard to locate the leak (I have a 400 foot long water main!).
I hired a leak detection service to help locate the leak. They used ultrasound, nitrogen, and helium and still marked the wrong location...very frustrating especially since I did all my digging by hand, only to find dry soil surrounding the pipe. Fortunately they have a guarantee which made the second visit free. Before the second visit, I used a thin metal rod (5 feet long), to test the soil along the pipe. I identified a suspiciously soft spot near the house, and partially dug it up. I only exposed the top of the pipe, thinking that would be enough to make it obvious. Little did I know, I was only inches away from the leak, which was on the very bottom of the pipe fitting. During the second leak detection service visit, the pressurized nitrogen blasted up through the soil near the leak, and the hissing sound through the leak was then very obvious. We dug the pipe up further to fully expose the leak, and turned the water back on, and finally confirmed the leak by watching the water pouring out.
Next I checked plumbing reviews and determined that ProDrain seemed like a good choice. They didn't have any plumbers available for a few days, but I figured a good plumber was worth the wait, especially for such a critical job as this. So I made an appointment with Travis.
Travis came out and cut out the leaking fitting, and installed a new section of pipe and several fittings in its place. He came well prepared with all the necessary new fittings, etc. Travis's experience level and professionalism were made clear on this job. It involved a 45-degree PVC elbow which is always a little bit tricky. But he didn't blink an eye, and made the whole job seem easy. Travis was also courteous, easy to communicate with, and got the job done right at a reasonable cost.
Most importantly, after turning the water back on I was finally back to a leak-free system. This was a huge relief after 5 frustrating days of appointments, digging in multiple places, and sometimes having no water available in the house.

After another plumbing company told us we needed to replace the pipes under the shower for a large sum, we called Pro Drain for an estimate. The gentleman who came out thought the problem could have been other than the pipes. He thought it was maybe loose tiles in the shower. He had me plug the shower and fill it with about 5 inches of water. We waited for about 20 minutes, and noticed moisture under the shower when we unplugged the shower; there was no leaking from the pipes. Saved us a lot of money on a repair we did not need. We had the tiles fixed by another person.

So I did the old potatoe peels down the garbage disposal bit , and there was alot! I usually peel into my garbage can but just wasn't thinking. When I went to clean up after dinner I noticed a slow drain and knew right away what I had done. By the next morning it was completely clogged. I spent 2 days plunging, removed the pea trap, bought draino, etc. I had zero success. Not to mention each time I plunged, water was backing up into my dishwasher and flooding my kitchen. I bought a mini snake that was able to clear the pipe up to where it met the wall. I couldn't go any further and desperately needed to do dishes. At that point I had no choice but to call a professional. As a single mom I was trying to prevent another bill, especially from a mindless mistake. But I had to face facts. I checked Angies list and found quotes down to $135. I then found Pro Drain and they quoted me $88 right over the phone. The price was a flat fee for a clog with no hidden costs. While checking companies I read how some unclogged pipes from on top of the roof. I had never heard of that. I also read that those customers that turned to Pro Drain did so because other companies wanted to charge extra for climbing on the roof. Pro Drain did the job quickly and efficiently. They did not charge me anything extra for snaking through the roof. In fact that seemed to be a regular method for them. Shane went above and beyond at no extra charge . He was kind to me and interracted with my children who wanted to help. I was so fearful I was going to be out $200 bucks, $88 was a releif. Thank you Pro Drain for your excellent service! I will use you again, and thank you Angies list!

ProDrain came out to clear a clogged shower drain for us. They were able to come out the day I called, identified the problem, and had it cleared quickly. They were professional and very courteous. We had called ProDrain once before for a problem with a washer drain, and we were glad we still had the business card handy!

Dan responded to my phone call over a weekend. I told him what had happened and he suggested a possible quick fix over the phone and asked me to phone him back to see if it worked.... IT DID! No service call necessary, no charges. I will call them again when I need plumbing help.

We recently moved into our house and realized that the drain in one of the bathroom sinks was badly clogged. Tried the usual things to clear it to no avail. Called Pro-Drain and they scheduled a visit for the next afternoon "between 1 and 3". Nice, professional people in the office. The plumber came promptly just after 1PM. Completed the work quickly and did a good job (using all 25 feet of his snake!); and at our request replaced the P-trap joint that had been glued in place sometime in the past. Reasonably priced, prompt, did good work - would recommend them.

The painter clogged a bathroom sink the day before I was scheduled to list my house for sale. I found ProDrain on Angie's List, along with several other highly rated providers, and chose to work with this company as they could come out within 2 hours of my call, offered the lowest rate with no "hidden" charges. Mario arrived on time, got right to work, cleared the drain, and offered electronic invoice. Great service!

Many thanks to the crew from ProDrain! My wife and I had a large project that included re-piping our home, establishing a new bathroom, upgrading our drainage system under the house, moving our water heater and installing a new main line from the street and into our home. Starting with Greg, he came out and gave a quote that was over 2 thousand dollars less than the next lowest quote. ProDrain wasn't only the most reasonably priced, they had wonderful customer service. They answered every question and were very accommodating when we (my wife and I) kept changing what we wanted done. When the project began, within a week of accepting the bid, Jason and Jer took over. They were great! They were personable. They were professional. They were very dedicated to getting the job done! They started early and put in long days until the job was done. ProDrain was so well organized that this entire project was started and completed in less than a week! I love the job. It looks great. Our home now has awesome water pressure, and I am not going to have to worry about any more ‘old pipe' issues. I'm not the only one that thought the job they did was top notch. When the city inspector came by to sign off on the completed project, he took the time to rave about their work. He showed me places where their workmanship by far exceeded requirements. Where some companies may cut corners… ProDrain kept to a supreme level of quality. Thanks again, to everyone, especially Greg, Jason, Jer and Lisa. Cheers-

I called at 8am when they opened and they said they could send someone between 10 and noon. At 10:25 Dan arrived. He cleared both drains really fast. Cleanup was great- the bathroom floor and wall ended up cleaner than they were when he arrived. Dan was friendly and professional, and the price seems really competitive.
And the drains run so well! Very happy with the whole process.

Nearing completion of a bathroom remodel, it was discovered that I had some broken pipes in the crawl space under my house. Pro Drain was recommended and contacted by my contractor. They were able to send Travis out the same day to make the repair. It turned out that there was much more damage than originally thought, so he needed to come back to actually do the work. He took pictures of the broken pipes in order to explain to me just what needed to be done. It took a few days for us to coordinate a time we both were available, but finally after an 8 hour day of being under my house in very unpleasant surroundings, he finished. He made sure I understood what he had done before he left and that all the drains etc. were working correctly. I would definitely hire Pro Drain again.

Kitchen sink wasn't draining well. I called Prodrain at about noon. Although the guy in my neighborhood was booked solid (every hour) they agreed to fit me in between 3 and 5 pm. At about 2pm I got a call from Mario checking to see if he could come by. He arrived quickly and prepared. It took a couple passes but then my problem was solved. Thanks to Mario who was super friendly and informative. And thanks to all for such a quick response. I'll keep these guys on my short list!

Called them early (about 7 am), ON A SATURDAY, and spoke to Mario.
Very nice, told us he'd be out between noon and two. He called approximately 1 to tell us he'd be there in the next twenty minutes, and was true to his word.He explained everything, gave the price when we first spoke, and was fast. He was also very kind to our eager puppy.Coming out on a Saturday, charging a regular price, and giving us advice on taking care of plumbing in a 1974 built house.
Can't think of a single thing he could have done better.

Serviceman did a great job and was done in an hour. He was very professional and didn't waste any time, as we were paying by the hour. The only problem I had is we were told we had to pay with a credit card at the time of service instead of billing us. Not a problem just would have liked to have been told this up front when making the appointment. Also, we were told we would be emailed a receipt for the credit card payment the next day. When the email didn't come I called the office and was told the serviceman had not completed his part of the paperwork. When he finished it we would be mailed a receipt. Also were told the accounting person only processes credit cards twice a week. This is all fine it would just be good to comunicate all this up front also would be good to at least be given some kind of paper receipt at time of service showing what would be charged for the service and not having to wait until the serviceman finishes his paperwork and accounting finishes theirs.
