Please note that the following review was photographed, forwarded and received by Rachael at ProDrain. I needed a storm line replaced underneath my garage floor. The two 18' parallel saw cuts were done freehand. He should have taken the two minutes to snap a chalk line. It looks unprofessional as it meanders significantly from one end to the other. Additionally, the location of the cuts were not assessed and the result was two 2"x24" cracks that should have been part of the saw cut. He also did not bother to protect walls and equipment. Walls were a mess as if someone had sprayed mud on them from his saw cutting. His effort in cleaning was nothing more than spreading the mud around. Much like cleaning a windshield full of bugs without using liquid. If all this wasn't ugly enough, the downspout was connected to the drain on the outside of the house using a fernco rather than resting the downspout in a coupler. I called that evening and voiced my complaints to Rachael. The photo's were forwarded the next day. I have never heard back from anyone to say we are sorry, out apologies or this is not how we do.... This was by far the worst effort by any contractor I have ever used in regards to care, quality of workmanship and customer service.

They were really prompt and didn't try to sell us any extra things. It was very reasonable; under $100.

Their prices are great. They are timely and professional. They will stay as long as it takes to do the job. They don't charge you by the hour, it is just a flat rate.

Andy Herbert, Contractor from ProDrain showed me how to find the sewer line under the sinkhole on a website, and said that the next step would be to video scope the line. Since someone I trust had recommended another contractor, I told Andy I would meet with them and get back to him if the other contractor did not work out. Andy was cooperative, completely professional, knowledgable and helpful. Later the same week after the other contractor had completed the video scoping sewer line job, and then told me he is backed up 2 weeks, I called ProDrain back. The 2nd contractor had failed to return 3 calls over 2 days regarding an urgent matter, which had kept me and two neighbors hanging in the meantime. When he finally did return my call, he had decided it would not be safe for anyone to excavate the sewer as the 2 houses involved are less than 7 feet apart, and the sinkhole is between them. Overall, my experience with the 2nd contractor had not been that great, so I called ProDrain back to inquire about an estimate to repair/replace the sewer line that Friday afternoon. They sent Tyler, who is very patient on all fronts. He explained what causes sinkholes to me as I still did not fully understand how they occur. He watched and explained the video scoping CD I had been given, and offered an informal estimate for the sewer line repair. He also offered his opinion about what might have caused the sinkhole, but said his should not be considered a conclusive answer because he is not qualified to make that call. Gotta love a man who knows his limits! I found both the people ProDrain sent to my home to be exceptionally helpful. Both men knew what they were doing. They showed up on time, and Tyler stayed well past 5:00 pm on a Friday evening. That deserves recognition!

Repair of the drainage issue was scheduled for 6/20/123 on 6/3/13 and confirmed for 6/20/13 on 6/17/13. I took an unpaid day from my business to be present during the scheduled 8 hour job. No one showed up. It took reaching out to the office and using all contacts numbers I had to find out that they would not be coming. ProDrain was a "no-show" for a scheduled and confirmed job with no notification to me, The project was rescheduled for July 5th, when no one came by 9 AM I called and someone was sent out. The job was completed and appears to be resolving the issue, I have no issues with the quality of work performed and job completion. I cannot accept a no-show without notice or justification. The cost of the project nearly doubled by having to close my business 2 days instead of one to be present at the job.

They were very helpful on the phone. We got an appointment the next day and were willing to work with my schedule. Dishawn (spelling?) arrived 10 minutes early and was finished in about 5-10 minutes. Thought the price was reasonable. He wore shoe booties too so he wouldn't dirty my floor. I was very appreciative of that since we had this repair done in order to sell our house and we are trying to keep our carpets clean.

They were wonderful courteous and very professional . The fixed some damage caused while trying to remove a clog and fixed it better than was originally designed. I have nothing but great compliments for them.

Oh gosh, it went from bad to worse. We had a problem with occasional smells emanating from our drains or so we thought. First I had ProDrain out to clear out some drains which they did do and it seemed for awhile to help the smell problem we called them about. On the first go round, the technician most like plunged through a very old drain and caused a pretty big flood under my house. But we didn't know that yet, because the flood was located away from the crawl space. So I was unable to get the drain clearing tech to go under my house at all to check. He was there twice and neither time went under the house. Eventually, I called again because we still had the smell and they sent out another tech who did crawl under the house but did not find any problems. So, again because the issues were still a mystery (and now there were two, the unidentified smell and the broken drain pipe which was not yet discovered). Finally I got so frustrated that I started unscrewing vents from around the house and using a high powered flashlight, I was able to discover the broken drain pipe and the ensuing flood from my laundry water existing into a growing hole under my house in the crawlspace. Now I was able to take some pictures with my phone and email them to the company secretary and I got a nearly instantaneous response from the owner or manager. He never admitted that his tech broke the pipe and because it was an really old drain, I knew there wasn't really anything I could do about it. But he sent the second tech back out to fix the pipe no charge. You'd think that was good but it resulted in a cleanup that cost me close to $2K. And it was then, that the clean up techs discovered the real problem which was in an entirely different section of the house. It turned out that a big portion of the drain section existing the house was corroding. ProDrain sent out a plumber who seemed to be 'higher up' in their organization and he gave me a verbal quote of over $10,000 to replumb the house drain system and to clean up the mess, but he never followed up with a written quote. Then I really felt blown off as I call and emailed for nearly two weeks trying to get a response from them. In the meantime, my sister listened to my tale of woe and advised me to get several more quote and to be sure they were written, so that I could ask questions and compare on such a big job. I finally got a written estimate after two weeks of calling and emailing but I went with another company that was really great, really detailed and really responsible. I would never recommend or use ProDrain ever again.

I first called Garden Home Plumbing close to my residence but the woman who took my call could not contact the her plumber.but given my problem and the fact that the next available appointment would have been days away, she suggested I call Pro-Drain who is equipped with heavy equipment that I would probably need. She was correct. I called Pro-Drain about 12:30 pm and arranged to have a worker at my residence between 2 and 4 pm. Dishawn Harris arrived a little after 3 pm and we agreed that the problem was in the main line. He muscled a monster router down the stairs and it took a while to break open the old cast iron valve cap. Once open, he let in 50-75 ft of sewer snake line and cleared as much as possible. He installed a expansive cap on the access valve. Once done, we flushed the system for 20 minutes. After 35 years here, this was my first time with this particular issue. I hope this resolves the issue for years to come.

.Shane showed up precisely on time. He diagnosed the problem quickly and snaked the drain. He was very professional and patiently explained to me what the problem was and what he was going to do to resolve it. I feel the cost was reasonable and would definitely call them again.

As owners of a Property Management company (Holland Properties) we regularly cross check our vendors to make sure their quality and price is as good as they promise. We have used Pro Drains and been very happy with their service. I heard several ads about Grumpy's drains and thought I would try them. After Groump's tried, failed and didn't stand behind their work. I called Pro Drains - they charged less, got the clog broken loose and its been running great for a week.

It went well. We determined that one drain in the front was connected to one in the rear. We also determined where one went into the yard. All my issues were addressed and the fee was well worth it.

They did a really good job. They provided excellent service at a time that we were at the mercy of whatever professional would come out. We had a blocked sewer between our sewer and the city line. They conducted themselves in a professional manner. They did not overcharge us and they did not use a bunch of technical terms to make the price go up. They came in with their equipment and cleared the blockage. We were very grateful. The price struck me as completely reasonable. They are busy and we were not charged an emergency rate either. I thought that they were a little longer than I had hoped. I would use them again.

PRO- DRAIN was very responsive to my e-mail queries to get information and to set-up the appt. I work 6 days a week and cant talk on the phone for long periods of time and rely on e-mail to take care of a lot of things - and they were great with this. They gave me a window of 8-10 - and they were at my door at exactly 8! Their tech Luis was fantastic, great guy - very respectful - hope to work with him again if need be. Provided us with a quote for a replacement pipe for our storm-water and did not feel any pressure to accept that one - he was just providing it for us for our knowledge when we are ready to take care of a potential reoccurring problem.

Dan provided exceptional professional service. He arrived on time and inspected my entire drain system both gray and black lines to check for any blockage or leak problems in the basement line. Old lines were in relatively good shape out to the main line. He also offered advise on other concerns in a very professional and knowledgable manner. The best experience that I have ever had with a plumbing company. I would highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs. Honest and thoroughly professional. Dan will tell you what you need to do and what does not need to be done. I avoided a $3000 estimate to excavate and replace the entire line. Just could not be more pleased.

The rooter technician, Shane, arrived promptly on the same day within just an hour or 2 of our call. He did an excellent job clearing a problem 90 year old drain, full of roots and extensive debris. He used both the power rooter and a pressure water hose with the skill of an experienced technician. Everything works great. Urban City Estates Rental Property

The contractor who cleaned my gutters discovered an underground storm drain clog. They attempted to clear the clog themselves, but weren't able to. I called Pro Drain and they took care of the problem within a day of being contacted.

Prodrain was the third company I called and the one that could come and help the fastest. This clogged drain was really limiting our ability to use our kitchen and laundry room so it felt urgent. The plumber came exactly on time. he diagnosed the problem quickly and treated it quickly too. He was professional and while I can't remember the price, I do remember that it was a competitive price compared with the other companies I called. I would certainly use Prodrain again.

The main pipe sprung a leak and gallons of water were spewing onto the street. My neighbor and I shut off the main and I called ProDrain the next morning. They showed up the same morning and inspected the sight and recommended I call a leak detection to locate the leak. I did, and the Leak Detection company came out and located the leak the same day. ProDrain came out again and repaired the pipe. The plumber was professional and I felt he did a good job. He made sure the water was running. The price was reasonable considering my insurance agent said it would cost thousands of dollars. The cost was under $600

We generally maintain our plumbing but this time had a terribly clogged bathroom sink. Response from ProDrain was quick. Eric was professional, polite, and educated us with some plumbing dos and don'ts. We won't hesitate to use their services again if/when the need arises.

We had a great experience with this plumber! He arrived promptly after I called for help and quickly diagnosed the problem as a clog in our main line. He then proceeded to clear the clog, which he thought was caused by a blockage in the city's sewer line, actually. Too bad he didn't also clean up the remains of the mess in the house, but of course that was not part of his job. He did excellent work, and so very promptly!

It was on a weekend so even though I have to pay overtime, they were very prompt and took care of it. It was $874.75 that I used the $20 coupon so it was $854.75 and that included the overtime for 2 people because they first sent out maybe an apprentice or somebody to diagnose the problem but when he discovered it was a sump pump and it had to actually be replaced and they had to call the actual plumber to come out. So there were 2 people and I have to pay overtime for both of them plus the price of the sump pump. They responded that day and they took care of the problem. It actually ended up being that night because being a Saturday, they ended up arriving in the evening and it was 2 people that had to come. They had it taken cared of within 3 hours, once they were able to get here and take care of it and especially the first guy, I think his name was Mario, he was very courteous and very clean. He wore booties so he wouldn't track anything into my house because they have to come through my house to get to the sump pump and he showed me he wore 3 layers of gloves so that he could take off the ones that had dirt on them so that he was never touching anything inside my house with anything dirty, I really appreciated that. I don't have anything to compare their price to and the cost did include overtime which normally I wouldn't have to pay. It smelled horrible, it was the sump pump so my house was smelling like a sewer so after they got everything changed out with the new sump pump, they sprinkled something around it that totally got rid of the smell. They were one of the few that were available on the weekends.

The technician arrived on time. He took the time to ask me questions about what was happening. He described various possible causes and solutions if snaking the drain didn't solve the problem. He was very professional and even checked another drain that had been disconnected to make sure it wasn't also a problem.

Arrived on time and service was excellent.

Called 9:00 AM, Had bid by 3:00PM. and work scheduled within 3 working days. Work completed in 4 hrs. & professionally done!
