A-1 Glass & Mirror

We were on a short timeline as we were preparing my mother's house to sell. I think the technician came the day I first called to measure and give a bid -- the technician was very knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant. The main office then offered a lower cost solution than the one quoted over the phone; non-brand name panes were available and much less expensive than the brand name ones. The windows came in quickly and on the fourth day were replaced and ready to go. Great service! We also had A1 special order some window operators (the crank handle to open/close the windows) for us. These came in within a day or two, at a price equal to what we found on the web. Again, great service.

A-1 was timely with the arrival for an estimate, and the contractor was very professional and courteous. When we decided to use their services, I contacted A-1, and in about a week they had the new glass ready. We were able to schedule the replacement within a few days. The person who came to install our new glass was on time, professional, and QUICK! The entire process took less than 30 minutes. And he left the area clean. When the contractor came to give us an estimate, he gave me information regarding replacing our screens; that A-1 provides that service as well. I would save money by bringing my old screens by the shop so they could measure and provide me with replacements, and then I could re-install myself. He even showed me how. We were pleased with A-1 overall and highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace glass.

Went to their office-show room and was able to see choses I could have for my new shower door. Home appointment was set up to measure enclosure which was done in a timely manner. Alvina called home with estimate and the order was placed. Due to ordering a specialty glass it took longer than anticipated to obtain from the manufacturer. This was no fault of A-1. I appreciated the professionalism and promptness of their service and would work with them again. The shower door looks great.

The windows were replaced on 6/26/ and the screens were picked up at that time. They will be delivered and installed on 7/1/13. I was impressed at the efficiency, professionalism and also friendliness of the installer. I highly recommend A-1 Glass & Mirror based on my experience with installer and also the estimator.

I had the quote from A1 glass last summer in 2012, I finally got around to replace the cracked window. A1 glass crew from estimate,billing and the installers are only pleasant to work with but also very efficient and profesional! We needed 2 new glass shower doors for our new home. Trekked out to Beaverton and was intially not that impressed with the showroom experience. The young lady we dealt didn't seem all that knowledgeable about the product, but the doors looked nice so we set up an appointment for measurement. The fellow who came out was 100% better and answered all our questions about glass size/thickness, texture, etc. so that we felt very good about placing the order. A different fellow came out for the install and he was on time and very thorough, so I'm glad we didn't let our first impression scare us away. The doors look great and are of excellent quality. I'm sure you could buy them cheaper at Home Depot but it's worth the money to have a quality product since you'll be using them on a daily basis.

I was impressed with this company. I called them for a quote on a glass shower door for my master bath, and they were able (and willing) to give me a rough estimate over the phone so I could get an idea of whether I wanted to work with them. I then scheduled them to come out to measure and give me an actual quote, and they were right on time. The quote was given to me the same day as promised, and I immediately placed an order with them. The door came in 7 days later, also as promised, and I was able to schedule the install for the exact day I wanted, which was only a few days later. The same gentleman who came out to measure came back for the install. Once again he was prompt and courteous, and he left the place in perfect condition after the install. The new door is gorgeous and is perfectly balanced. I'm really happy with the products and services provided by this company.

Great. estimate was right on and they finished the job as promised.

We ordered a 5x8 mirror and within a few days they delivered it. The mirror was good quality and they came in quite a bit cheaper than some of the other places we called. Installation nearly doubled the price and I wasn't particularly picky about how the install would look, I just wanted a mirror so I had them deliver it and Installed it myself. They called me to let me know the day and time they were coming and they called 30 minutes before arrival. Overall they were professional and would buy from again.

Very well. I brought the items in, was told it would take 2days. I got a phone call 2 days later telling me they were ready. I went in the items were wrapped in brown paper. The woman showed me how they turned out, offered to get help for me to carry them out. I paid and left. No problems

These guys are GREAT! Called them for a new frame less glass shower door for my new basement bathroom. They came out the next day and I received the estimate that night. The price was VERY good and cheaper that two other glass companies in the area. A week later they called me up and said the door was ready. Next morning the installer arrived on time and 20 minutes later he was finished! We were VERY happy with the whole experience. We will defiantly use them on our next project, the upstairs bathroom.

For this recent job I brought the pieces in to be measured. They were very helpful and somewhat quick. As promised, they called me when they were ready (2 days) and I went in and picked them up and brought them home. The job was done well and now my tables are protected forgo getting damaged by people leaving drinks on them without coasters!

Glass table top shield: I own a Chinese chest that serves as a side table. Finally I made the time to have a protective glass top made for it. The piece is curved and beveled - done very well. I was very pleased with the service and professional advice. I was also pleasantly surprised at the price.

We got three estimates for this job and A1 was the best price. It was for a complex frameless shower enclosure with 2 unusual angles. They did the job carefully and came back 3 times after the estimate visit. I got the sense they do A LOT of this type of work for schools and businesses. The installers were very friendly and professional and seemed to really know their stuff. We love our new shower enclosure and would certainly use A1 again if we have the chance.

They were terrific. They came on time, they did the job and they were clean, neat and tidy. I had no complains. In terms of price, it was the cheapest we had. It was cheaper than anybody else I got an estimate from. I would absolutely use their services again in the future; they came to my house and that really made it nice. I met them through Angie’s List service.

Visited A-1's facility and nice show-room see all the options and select the door. Set up an appointment to measure and get an estimate. The door was ordered and available for installation a week later. Scheduled an appointment for installation. The installer arrived on time and removed the old door and installed the new one. Everything was done according to specification, on time and according to plan and estimate. The staff was wonderful to work with. The estimator and installer were very professional in suggesting options and pointing out potential problems. Scheduling was flexible and easy. The price was very reasonable and the quality of workmanship is excellent. We are very pleased.

Their bids were the best, and the employees were all very professional and knowledgeable. They worked quickly, and I was very pleased with the outcome on all projects.

A-1 GLASS & MIRROR A-1 Glass & Mirror, was very easy to work with, did a great job. It was a difficult window to replace, it was really odd shaped. It was perfect !

They removed the original glass without incident, although the builder had glued it to the wall and had glued the light fixture to the mirror. When the 1st new mirror cracked (stress fractures are common in new glass installs involving cutouts), they made a new mirror and replaced it within 2 days, and delivered the door mirror we had cut from the original at the same time.

The measured everything including the glass for a slide door and replaced it the second time. They did a quality job and did it quickly. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

There is one window that we were not sure is the right one so they have to go back to the guy who gave the bid to check on that. Another window broke when they were assembling it and they will have it back out next week. I spent $1800 on this work. They were very punctual, clean when they worked and asked me questions and made sure that everything was ok before they started. I liked that a lot.

A-1 Glass was very helpful in determining what would work best. They came out and and took measurements and were back a week later to install the mirror. We are very happy with the results and the cost was the same as two separate mirrors.

They got the work done in a very timely manner. The price was reasonable and the product was good. They were great. I would definitely use them again.
