Flowers were gorgeous! They did an excellent job! I know buying flowers is not inexpensive but I didn't feel like I was taken to the cleaners for what I received.

I chose Ted and Debbie's Flower Shop because they had received a previous A rating on Angie's List. I chose an arrangement featured on their website, contacted the shop by phone, and placed the order. The next day, I received a telephone call from the shop informing me that a flower featured in the arrangement I had chosen was not available. I agreed that they would need to use a substitute flower. The floral designer mentioned using lilies; I agreed but only if a majority of the blooms were open. The arrangement arrived at the funeral home in a timely manner. However, the arrangement did not resemble what I had ordered. There were no gladiolas (a prominent flower in the chosen arrangement), only three lily blooms were open (6 or 7 more were tight buds), the overall color of the chosen arrangement was changed, and the arrangement was just not my style. The arrangement I had ordered was more structured and neat; the arrangement I got was freestyle. I contacted the flower shop with my concerns. Debbie agreed to reduce the charge by $20 which I appreciated. I had ordered this arrangement for out-of-town friends and was disappointed for them. I suggested to Debbie that her shop should be up front about their inability to create an arrangement that was close in style and composition to the ones on her website. She said it would be impossible to do because florists have to use what flowers are available at a given time. Perhaps this is true. My favorite florist went out of business a couple of years ago and I was hoping to find a comparable replacement. I'm still looking.

I decided to stop in the flower store where I usually buy my spring flowers and talk to Debbie (owner with husband Ted) about my daughters upcoming wedding. She really didn't know me other than an occasional customer. She quickly won me over with her infectious excitement. She took the time to meet with me and both my daughters. She had the bride walk around the entire flower/landscape area so she could observe what my daughters reaction to all the plants and flowers. Debbie visited the wedding site on numerous occasions to see how the sunlight would affect the setting at various times of day. She worked with the site managers to ensure expectations were going to be exceeded. She reviewed what the site had to offer so that I could maximize my investment and not waste financial resources. On many occasions Debbie would gather information and then say 'let me do some creative thinking about all the possibilities' She worked tirelessly... I felt like I was the only event or customer during the whole process which took months but our time was very well managed and not time consuming at all. She overwhelmingly exceeded our expectations. She thought of every detail I cannot thank her and her staff enough.. Debbie outperformed and created a unique experience and paradise unlike any other wedding I have ever attended. She took the burden off the bride and her family. Guests were so impressed and could not stop talking about how beautiful and magical the event site looked.
