Very disappointed. Years back I had rented an apartment that White Glove managed, I was treated good and had fair dealings with them. When I needed a property manager my first thought was White Glove, and as one other reviewer wrote they were very persuasive and encouraging with their services and let you feel good about leaving your home in their hands. WOW was I wrong . . . things changed big time from when I was renting to having to rent out my property.
They let the renter (that I ended up finding for them) go and closed out the deposit account before doing a walkthrough of the property, and when I ask about getting the repairs done, Judy just says she has no money . . . what was left, what was left over from the deposit had been refunded . . . .
I was never kept aware of the maintenance issues until well after the occurrence, usually when the rent check came up short, and on three occasions I had American Home Shield insurance that could have covered the cost of repairs, but they were never called, and they didn’t even bother to call me so I could call and get the repairs done.
I will NEVER use Re/Max White Glove Reality again and would caution both renters and owners from dealing with them.
The worse offender is Judy. She is crass, reeks of cigarette smoke, rude, disrespectful and someone I hope I never cross paths again. She doesn’t listen. She is accusative. Her tone is harsh. She is quick with lengthy excuses and refuses to simply say, “I’ll see what I can do.” White Glove expects move out cleanliness to be top notch yet move in (for both houses) were filthy. Why wasn’t I afforded the same move in courtesy as what was expected of me on move out? Why is there a double standard?
I have also noticed that what they do vs what they say has a huge gap.
The impression that is put forth and felt quite easily is that the owner of the home is most important and the renters are an annoyance that must be put up with. We are both customers, renters and owners, and without both, White Glove Reality is as valuable as a rash. The professionalism and customer service is so lacking that I find it amazing that this company is still in existence, that is until I take into consideration that White Glove is in a military town and it isn’t locals that become the customers. We are left to figure things out the hard way but aren’t here long enough to do much about it. This leaves me to one conclusion, White Glove is deliberately taking advantage of military families. The term “white glove” indicates that a company goes over and beyond what is expected but in reality, it is the bare minimum. The name doesn’t honestly reflect the standard of the business practices. I cannot say enough how horrible my White Glove Reality experience has been. I shall never be a White Glove Reality customer again and when the situation presents itself , I will do everything in my ethical power to make sure that fellow military, family, and friends steer clear.P
