 + -1 moreThe whole process could not have gone any smoother. I used their website to alert them that I needed service and requested a quote. Two days later I came home to a folder on my door with the quote attached. Called to set up an appointment and was was told their schedule was 4 weeks out. I accepted and sure enough in four weeks they came out and performed the service requested. They trimmed a total of six trees and raised the canopies on 4 of them. Had the trees not looked totally different you never would have known they had been out. I had expected the yard to be full of limbs and wood chips, but it was spotless. I would definitely recommend them.

 + -1 moreI work during the day so I need someone I can trust to come when I not home and do a good job and clean up. They called me as soon as I contacted them and followed up with me and got it up done. They told me when they were coming and came on that day. I was very happy with the service.
Description of Work: They trimmed my bushes. I also appreciated they were honest and they told me that I didn't need to do work at this time and it could wait. They gave me resources for other work that I needed done.

Description of Work: They pruned and trimmed all of our trees in the back yards. There were 20 large trees. They took of all of the thorns. They downsized the trees. They cleaned up everything great. They hauled everything away.

Description of Work: They fertilize the lawn, and they take care of any weeds that pop up. They feed the lawn. They spray the pine trees. If I see a weed, they come out to get it taken care of.

 + -1 moreBy far the best company in the Kansas City area for lawn treatment. Over the past three years, I have worked with three (including Ryan) lawn services. The other service companies were not responsive to my requests to learn more about what was going on with my lawn and what could be done to better it. They also did just the bare minimum to the lawn. I had a very bad lilac, clover and dandelion problem which the other companies did not even touch. After calling Ryan and talking with Wes Kleffner, he came out and talked with me about the issues and how to treat it. He did the first application immediately and continued to focus on the issues. Wes and Ryan Lawn have the best customer service and are always on top of everything.
Description of Work: Treat and fertilize my entire lawn on a year-round schedule.

 + -1 moreWhat I was looking for is for them to do what they originally agreed to do. A lot of time was lost because they did not coordinate with the other company and my back yard is a mess worse than when they started. Six weeks went by with nothing. If they wait until everything completely dries out I might as well give up on the seed and the soil because it will all be wasted. They never did anything. If this was not the way to do it they should not have recommended it. We were customers for several years and should have had better services. I have asked for my money back.
Description of Work: We renewed with Ryan Lawn for services in February and prepaid. They came out in March. Our back yard needed top soil. It also needed seeding. After discussions with Chris Schutz he recommended that another company to do the top soil because Ryan did not. After the top soil was down Ryan would do the seeding. This discussion took place very early in March. Chris represented that Ryan works with the other company frequently and would coordinate activities. I expressed some concern that I would be caught in the middle. He assure me this was not a problem, We contacted the other company. I received the estimate and told them to go ahead. They also assured me they would coordinate with Ryan. There was never any coordination between the other company and Ryan. The other company says that the soil level was adequate however we still get standing water. Ryan never came out to do the seeding. I called repeatedly and was offered one excuse after another. I gave up and did it myself and then sure enough they did show up.

 + -1 moreJorge and Jose were on time each of the three needed service appointments. Besides being on time and dressed in their work uniforms, they were courteous, knowledgeable and hard working. Bids were carefully prepared and explained and the work was completed on schedule. Some of the work involved troubleshooting to find the right solution and they logically and efficiently progressed through the options until the problem was isolated and fixed. Everything works perfectly and I have and will recommend Reid Irrigation again. Added bonus is their dispatcher/accountant, Marge is almost always available and when not, diligent about quickly returning phone calls.
Description of Work: Fixed several significant and complicated problems with my irrigation system at my rental home and my own home.

Description of Work: We had a problem with our large blue spruce tree. This company came out to diagnose the problem and sprayed two large spruce trees in our yard. Each visit was $59 and they made two trips to spay the bagworms on the trees, over the last two months.

 + -1 moreThey did a very nice job, and completed the entire job while we were at work. They did the work in the winter, so we were a little worried if they found all the dead branches. Once Spring arrived the trees look better than they have in years. The yard was also left very clean. We would definitely use this service again.
Description of Work: Trimmed three GIANT oak trees that had extensive damage from ice storms and had not been trimmed in years.

 + -1 moreThey were on time, very pleasant and very thorough. I can now grow grass where the shade prevented. All trees are very healthy. One limb they cut back has kept the squirrel's from climbing onto my roof. This has upset the squirrel's immensely.
Description of Work: They pruned 3 trees and removed several very mature weed trees that were in the phone lines of my house and a neighbors. They also hauled off a lot of brush that I had cut myself.

 + 1 moreJosh Hudgins and his crew of 3 did a great job. They spent over an hour on the front yard. When they were done they collected 6 bags of thatch. On a different note, Josh told me to call Marta because I wanted to know if I could have Ryan Lawn do the remaining two services for the yard (Fall and Winterizer) and get a discount for them, since I was a new customer and recently orphaned when I quit my old lawn service. She was very helpful, gave me a 5% discount, and explained how they price their services each year. Overall a good experience and I found out about Ryan Lawn from Angie's List. THANKS!
