Ryan Lawn and Tree

The grass grew in beautifully. I was walking on it barefoot just thinking how wonderful it was. I came back in a couple of weeks to a dead lawn. They had put down fertilizer and weed killer which killed the grass. They didn't believe me when I called them about it. The owner came out and he told me that they made the wrong mixture. They re seeded all summer long and it just wouldn't grow. They promised me that the next summer I would have a lawn. Once again, it didn't grow. Nothing was going to grow because they had ruined the soil. They promised they would still take care of it. They brought in sod and gave me proper care instructions. We had a rainstorm before the sod had time to root itself into the earth. So now, I have these big brown patches all over the lawn. They keep promising me that they are going to the best they can and they really have tried. It still comes down to the fact that I would have had a lawn if they didn't mess it up in the first place. My lawn is still a mess. They haven't called me to see how everything turned out. I think they just want to wash their hands of me. Maybe it'll come up better next year. It's just sad because I don't have a lawn. Their one mistake had a big impact on us that's for sure.

Kip came back out, without me even calling to request it, and cleaned up the remaining debris so I can mow over those sections. I appreciate this extra attention to detail and the company's interest in doing things right. I will most definitely use these guys again. What a great business model -- to actually mean what they say and guarantee one's satisfaction by quality service.

They were great. Did not recommend services I thought were necessary. No hard sell on additional services. Were punctual, professional, and the lawn looks good. Worth the couple of extra dollars over other bids.

They did a great job from start to finish. They sent out an arborist to evaluate the situation and determine bid price. They were not the cheapest; however the bid was most thorough and outlined the job the best. They scheduled work within 7 days and crew was top notch. We would definitely use them again.

The crew was very polite and professional. They did a nice job pruning the multiple tree limbs to the front and back side of a significant tree line we have on our property. I just wish they were as thorough on their clean-up effort as they were on everything else. However, I was generally pleased and will likely use them again (but I will pay more attention to their clean-up and not let them leave until it is completed).

They did a good work. They did pest control for the bushes. We were very happy about it. They told me that it required an annual treatment. They were prompt at returning my call. They did some trimming too. The yard looks nice. They were professional and the price was fair.

After calling them about tree service, Matt came out the next day and left an estimate. We called back in two days and OK'd the proposal. However, we did not hear from them again about when the service would be done. After waiting for a week, we called them and left a message to the scheduling staff. Soon after that, the service was scheduled and done on the day we requested. We are very pleased with the price and the work they did. Will use them again for sure in spite of the scheduling problem. We believe it was just a one-time miscommunication.

All of the people in Ryan Lawn & Tree there have degrees in Horticulture. They treat the Crabapple every spring. The house had been professionally landscaped before I even bought the house and they take care of all the landscaping, except mowing. They are wonderful and do a fine job. I found them in an ad and they came in to give me an estimate. They didn't have any employees and all of them were partners who shared profits and losses alike. I liked the idea and hired them. I have a 12 month contract with them.

Mr. DePaepe visited my home and gave estimate the same day I initially contacted the company. The work was performed about 10 days later, as promised. Crew arrived early, took care of the job quickly, and left the area clean.

Excellent. I had contacted 3-4 tree service companies to bid on this work. Ryan Lawn & Tree was the only company who had a live person answer the phone when I called. Even though they were not the first company I had contacted, they were the first to respond and to have a person on-site to bid for the work. The person who responded was a certified arborist, who was extremely knowledgeable about the type of tree, and had recommendations to prevent other limbs from falling. However, he also understood that I was just looking to have the limb removed from my property. No pushy sales - just helpful information. Once I had all the bids in for the work, I realized that Ryan Lawn and Tree was slightly more expensive than two other vendors, and the same amount as a third vendor. However, I was so impressed by their professionalism and responsiveness that I decided they would likely do the best job and get the work done the quickest. Sure enough, within 24 hours of awarding them the job, they had a crew on-site removing the limb. They were incredibly fast and left the work site very clean. They didn't demand payment on-the-spot and allowed me to mail it in after the fact, which was nice as we had to attend a funeral that morning while the work was occurring. Overall, I spent just a little more than I had to, but I got such a professional response that it was worth every penny. I would definitely recommend Ryan Lawn & Tree and I would use them again!

I am very satisfied with their service.

We had tried a couple of other lawn companies in the area for years and had very poor results. After about a season of using Ryan Lawn my lawn was finally getting into the shape that I wanted. After two years of using them now our lawn looks great. They are very knowledgeable and have great communication. They come out regularly and you can call them to have them spray problem areas at any time. Since having them take over maintenance on our lawn they we have been so pleased that we have hired them for some landscaping as well. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

Great! Called Ryan and another Tree Company. Ryan came out next day with an estimate. The other estimate took 2-3 weeks. Ryan was the lower price and the responsiveness/professionalism was impressive.

They came out and did the job professionally. Everything was cleaned up so there were not leaves or branches laying around. They did what I wanted and didn't overdo it. I was very happy with them.

EVERYONE at this company seems to be so pleasant and helpful. I had to schedule a week out, but I waited very late in the fall. He also replaced a galvanized cap with plastic since the old one had corroded. Will use again.

Ryan Lawn came out, as promised, and developed an estimate. They were a bit higher, but we still might use them in the spring. Overall, they were very nice and thorough. They spent a lot of time to educate us about the best options and time of the year to plant the grass.

Ryan Lawn & Tree promptly responded to my request for an estimate and I didn't need to be there! Gabe was able to leave his recommendations for a full years service with pricing for me to make a decision. They have have my yard looking great and have recommended additional services without being pushy. I have requested some of the additional service but not others and they have been a pleasure to work with this summer. I will use them again next year.

I think they are excellent. They are very friendly, trustworthy, timely, clean and reliable. They will come out and give you a free estimate on anything you are thinking about having done. They give you the details for it and give suggestions.

They were excellent. They were able to take down the tree without hurting the fence and other trees in proximity. They had a very professional crew, and they cleaned up really well after they were done. The price was also reasonable.

They are very informative about specific things we can do on top of their service to make sure we are getting the most out of the service. They always call us back. They seem knowledgeable and always have a specific answer to our questions. We have seen a dramatic improvement in our yard. We like having a specific representative that consistently takes care of our lawn. It's nice to have the same person coming back who has the mental history of our yard.
