Very good service from the initial phone call to make the appointment to the technician's service.

An appointment was made to fill a chip in the windshield of a 2007 Honda Civic. The service rep assured me that the repair would leave the chip and quot;invisible.and quot; When I took the car in, the service tech also claimed the chip would be and quot;invisible.and quot; upon completion of the work and after paying the invoice, I went to the car to find that the chip was just as visible as it was when I took the car in. Upon complaining to and quot;Johnand quot;, the service tech, he said: and quot;Oh, I probably should have told you that the procedure might not hide the chip, but it is guaranteed not to spread and if you want a new windshield we'll credit the cost of this repair.and quot; I explained that I didn't want a new windshield and received no satisfaction. I subsequently went back to Safelite to speak to a manager and ask for a refund due to the work not being performed as promised. The manager, Joel, refused to honor my request. Told me I could have get a new windshield and was very reluctant to provide me with the corporate office address, phone number and the name of the president. They provide a window of time when they come and fix the windshield. By the end of the time they called me saying that they would not be able to come. They told me that someone else would be able to come. They took care of the problem much later than they said they would be. When they did come here they had the wrong parts. The guy that came was very nice and helpful. He handled the whole situation. He was nice to deal with but it was annoying.

I tried to make the appointment online on a Sunday, but that didn't work as advertised on the website. The next day, I called and got an appointment on the same day to have a window replaced which had been broken out of my 2003 Civic. Everything went as promised. It took less than 2 hours.

The back window of my mini van shattered when my garage door did not open all the way. This happened on a Sunday. On Monday morning I called my insurance company. The agent transferred me to an agency that found safelite. They took my credit card number over the phone and fixed the window while I was at work. The amount I paid was my deductible. Fast, efficient service. I didn't even have to wait on the phone. Would definitely recommend them

I requested an estimate on-line to replace a windshield that cracked after a stone chip. I had other estimates to compare with when I asked for this estimate. The estimate was stated as $181.95 which included labor but did not include sales tax. This was after a $20 discount I was to receive by being a members of Angies List. Since my other estimates were anywhere between $190 and $210 TOTAL cost, I decided that this was reasonable, and began the process of setting up an appointment on line. Each page it sent me to showed a 181.95 which incleds labor but not tax. When I came to the last and final confirmation page the total cost changed - it was now $181.95 which included labor, not sales tax, AND $9.95 plus a $20.00 SERVICE FEE. I felt this was a deceptive practice on the part of SafeLite. When I called a 1-800 number to ask about this, I had a very rude service person tell me that it was not deceptive, the total cost was on the final confirmation page. She agreed that there was no other mention of it prior to the confirmation page. Her reasoning was it did not have anything to do with the windshield they were going to install, it was to haul away my old windshield ($9.95) and to come to an off site location ($20.00). I checked - my other estimates were complete. I did not have any other "surprises" to be added to my total bill, and they were coming to my house to do this as well. Needless to say, I still have a cracked windshield, and will be spending today getting an appointment with a company that tells you the total amount right up front, and not tacking it on as a few extra words on your bill during the final process. Bad practice SafeLite = be honest with your estimate from the start.

They did a good job. Their price was reasonable. The guy who came was very polite and very friendly. He told me what was going on and answered my questions.

When scheduling the appointment, the woman on the phone said they recommend replacing windshield wipers whenever a windshield is replaced. I thought we had new wipers but I wasn't sure so she said she would make a note an the account and have the tech bring new wipers just in case and I could let him know the day of the appointment. As promised, I received an email with a name and picture of tech who was to arrive at my home. However, the tech who arrived was someone else--email does say in small print that in rare instances the tech in the email will not be the one to perform the work. Tech did not have new wipers with him and said there was not a note advising him to bring them. He also said it doesn't matter if you have new wipers with a new windshield. He was very polite. The work was performed quickly and professionally. We did not have time for other estimates so I have no idea if the price is fair. We did pay the upcharge for having the work done at our home.

I first called in about a crack that i wanted sealed. To it to the Worthington location and the man sealed it but told me there is a good chance because of the size that it may spread... he was right! it ended up spreading 2 weeks ago and needed the whole windhshield replaced. Not only did a service tech come out to my job to replace the windshield but they also applied the money i payed for it to be sealed towards the cost of the windshield. Top Customer Service and will recommend to ANYONE!!!

Originally had crack in windshield and they fixed that and it ended up cracking a couple months later that required a full replacement. Went through insurance both times. Paid $0 for repair and $100 deductible for replacement. They were very professional on both visits and vacuumed out car both times and cleaned windows both times. They came to home on a Sunday morning and replaced window. They emailed to verify appt. and called ahead of time. Very nice and professional. Highly recommend!

They were fast. They didn't take long at all to get the work done. They were also reasonably priced. We liked them a lot. We haven't had any problems since then. The crack hasn't expanded. The seal did what they said it would do.

The repair did not meet with my expectations because of Safelite's advertising. In their advertising it is indicated that any crack or chip can be repaired with no trace of it after repair. Not so. Other that vacuuming the crack, and filling it with a resin, nothing else was done. The crack is in the center of the windshield and is just as visible after repair as it was before the repair. Perhaps that is the best anyone could do, but based on their advertising I was led to expect a flawless and invisible repair..

It went very well. We called around noon on a Saturday and they were able to fix it the next day. All the broken glass was cleaned up and the window works just great. Everyone we talked to was very helpful and friendly.

My car was broken into and Safelite replaced the smashed in rear door window. They cleaned out the broken glass too. Considering this was the same day I discovered the damage I thought it went pretty quickly. The expense was paid by my insurance and I probably could have had them come out to do the work but it was a rainy day so I drove the car to their service center. The work was complete in less than 2 hours.

I received a quote from them, but as it was considerably higher than the others, so I did not use them. They were nice on the phone. The glass business must be a competitive one, as they called me back multiple times over the following week to try to get my business. One of the other glass companies that I called for a quote also did the same.

It went well. The prices were reasonable and it went quickly. I would recommend them because the service was good.

They were extremely prompt and friendly. The work they did has lasted.

After price checking several companies I scheduled the service online for the next morning. The morning of the repair I called customer service with a few questions, customer service was polite, professional, and helpful. The service technician who performed the repair called me about 15 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on the way to my location. When he arrived, he gave a brief description of the repair process and answered my questions. He called me when the repair was complete and I inspected the work. He did a good job and cleaned up the exterior and interior of the car. I am very happy with the work performed and the overall experience with Safelite.

They showed up when they said they would and did the job that was expected.

Initially, called to repair crack. Technician came out as requested and said it needed replacement. Said he would schedule glass replacement for next day. No one showed. Office said that no replacement was ever scheduled. Rescheduled replacement for five days later 12-5. Called office that day which said technician would come between 4-6. At 5:45 p.m., no one had showed. Called office and said technician would arrive in 20 minutes. It was getting dark and I had to go out so I cancelled the call. Everyone was very nice and friendly but I'm using someone else. Safelite seems to be too busy to provide timely service.

This company has the best customer service that I have ever experienced. From the friendly and courtepus service in my initial telephone communications through the skilled and professional technicians, this was an outstanding experience. This company is friendly, efficient and does things the way I wish every service provider would. Outstanding.

I was following a truck on I-70 when a rock flew off and hit the windshield of my 2007 Honda Pilot. It chipped the glass and there were four spider cracks branching out from the center. I called Safelite and scheduled an appointment for them to repair the crack at my house. The technician called to confirm the appointment and called to let me know he was on his way. He was punctual, freindly and professional. The chip was repaired and unless you know where it was you would never guess it was ever there. I was very pleased with the service.

They contacted insurance company, one call from me to SafeLite was all I needed.

It went great. They repaired my windshield in a reasonable amount of time, about 30 minutes. They also cleaned the windshield and even vacuumed my car! They were super. I would definitely recm.ommend the

I called their 800 # to make an appointment, and the girl had trouble with her computer and put me on hold to fix it. Other than that the scheduling was easy. On the phone they told me it would take 30-40 minutes to get the repair done. When I checked in at the repair site they told me it would be done in 45 minutes. They never asked where the repair was needed and I assumed they'd find it since it was right in the center of the windshield. The technician actually found and repaired another chip, and when he was doing the final cleanup he noticed the one I actually brought it in for in the first place. The entire visit took around 90 minutes. They were very courteous and professional, but it would have helped if we together had walked out to the van to be sure they repaired what I brought it in for.
