They did a fine job of replacing the radiator when I detected leaks. When I got it back, I did get some fluid level warning lights, but they immediately got me in the next morning and topped off the fluid (sometimes bubbles surface after the radiator is refilled)

I have used Westerville Automotive few times. Every time, they had my car finished faster than expected and less expensive than anticipated. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done on their car. I have never had to take my car back because something was not done well. They do not over-charge or try to "up-sell" you to have things done to your car that are not needed. They have always seemed honest, direct, and efficient in their performance.

I have used Westerville Automotive dozens of times and they are very honest and only perform work which needs to be completed (somewhat of an anomaly in this business). They communicate options for repairs very well and complete work extremely fast. I could not be happier with the service there!

Great job and we are very satisfied. Took the car in for brakes. They found some additional problems that needed to be repaired and called for authorization before going ahead with the work. Easy to work with and explained scope of the work needed. Fair prices for the work done.

That was really good. They did a good job. I thought like they did not try to take your car in. You are afraid and try to side but to discuss not to need done. They seemed that they really just telling me what needed to be done, everything I could do or might need to be done down the road. Their pricing was better than I have recently brought to Firestone. Their pricing was better for the work they did. They seemed to be honest, did a good job, and were quick.

The work was prompt and professional. I really appreciated the attitude of the fellow at the front desk. He was very helpful. I had attempted to replace the pads; a project I have done many times before on this and other cars, front and rear. For some reason it would not work for me this time. I put it all back together, drove it there, told them my problem. They were very sympathetic and had the car fixed within 24 hours. They also examined the front brakes and told me that although the pads were about 50% worn (which I already knew) that they did not need replacing at this time. It is reassuring to know that they are honest in their work. I strongly recommend them. (I have recommended them to my daughters, too.)

We went to Westerville Automotive after reading the reviews and we were very pleased. We had a warning light that kept coming on and the dealership was not able to adequately address the issue. Not only they accurately diagnose, but they had the part in stock and we were out in the same day. They were honest about another issue that only the dealer could address, so they did not attempt this fix or charge us for the advise.

I always go here for car maintenance. Although some friends have remarked they aren't the cheapest in town, I remind them that in the long run they are, because: 1. They won't suggest repairs that you don't actually need, like some of the "cheaper" companies. 2. They will do the work right the first time, eliminating repeated returns for increasingly more expensive repairs. 3. They deal professionally with all of us non-mechanical types who can give vague, un-helpful problem descriptions. A few years back, a friend had a problem that other repair shops said would cost $1500. Westerville Automotive's experienced mechanics found a way to accomplish the same goal for only $700, by re-using expensive but completely functional parts, replacing only what was defective.

I needed 90 k service for my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2007 and asked for estimate at nearby auto shop and they had given me estimate for $700 then I signedup for Angie's list as I was ready to spent the money but "wanted genuine service which was actually needed" and I came across Westerville Automotive, they checked everything in the car said what was actually needed was Oil and Tyre rotation and everything else was fine. I would go again for my future needs.

I had taken my 2008 Toyota Rav4 into the dealer in early April for an oil change and two recalls. As part of the dealer's 9 point inspection they said my Water Pump was leaking and should be replaced soon. They also said my transmission fluid was black and should be replaced. I verified the Transmission fluid was black. I thought the price the Toyota Dealer quoted me was quite high so I called Westerville Automotive for a quote which was substantially less. I scheduled a week and one half in advance, took in my vehicle in the morning and the work was done in the early afternoon. With the Angie's List discount my cost was 44% cheaper ($442 vs $789) at Westerville Auto than if I had taken my car to the dealer for the same service. Check in and Check out was courteous and professional. Needless to say those kind of price savings and service will keep me coming back to Westerville Automotive.

The first issue had to do with what I thought was my transmission. Westerville Automotive found nothing wrong and discounted my quoted price. The second incident occurred less than a week later and involved a leak in one of my hoses. They quickly scheduled an appointment to look at my car. I thought their service price was very reasonable, but their customer service...PRICELESS!! They have a loyal customer with me and my business is going to Westerville Automotive!!

As usual they did a great and reliable job on my spring maintenance of the car. They also put on 4 new tires. They have taken care of my cars for more than 10 years without ever having a problem. I won't use any one else. They are reliable and very professional and very helpful. I trust them with any car repairs.

Was able to get in with only a few days notice, took car in the morning, called me with the assessment and car was completed in late afternoon. I was pleased with the entire process.

This happened to me when my wheels spun in the snow and over revved, knocking out the sensor. My ABS was out, my speed control was out, and various things were flashing on the dash. I called them from work, brought my car in, and they quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem, fixing it that day. I was able to pick up my car after work. Their charges were fair, and the work was done well. I would use them again (and probably will).

It was good. His prices are good and the quality is every so good but you just got to look past the environment. They are professional.

Employees were very nice and made it very convienent for me to drop off and pick up my car. They kept me notified about what was wrong with my car and the job was done when they said it would be done. I would definitely take my car back there again.

They didn't give me an estimate beforehand, and charged $88 to diagnose the check engine light. The total for the synthetic oil change and filter was $136. I know it's synthetic oil and it's a Mercedes that takes 9 qts of oil, but I've had it changed before for $70. As for the diagnosis for the check engine light, the gas cap had not been secured and I had discovered and secured it myself. Apparently, because there is a chance for the reevaporation system to leak when the gas cap isn't properly attached, the check engine light comes on. It was an outrageous price, and I've dealt with much more reasonable providers for the same work. The quality was good, but it was fairly simple servicing that needed done. I would not go back to them again.

Various lights on my dash would come on and different ancillary functions would cut in and out. I thought the issues was going to be electrical or with the charging system. Ends up it was the ignition switch. The switch was replaced but within a week I started to experience the same issue. Westerville Auto double-checked the work and found the ignition switch they installed was faulty. They replaced the switch and did not charge for the follow up work. I've had no problem since. Both times while my car was in the shop, the staff were very friendly and kept me informed of the process. They invited me back anytime I have a reoccuring problem that seems ignition related, even outside the warrantee period.

Westerville Automotive is very upfront with what they will do, what they won't do (without asking first), what needs to be done next or upcoming. I have every confidence in them.

I went to Westerville Automotive based on reviews here to get a second opinion for repair work a dealer had told me I needed. They did a diagnostic exam and discovered while some of the needed repairs were necessary, not all of them were. They saved me money and they went the extra mile to take of a few things at little cost to me that could prevent further mechanical issues down the road. Ken was very easy to talk to and is a straight shooter. He is clearly not trying to overcharge or push you into things that do not need to be done. They earned my trust and I will be using them in the future as my vehicles are used and will need a little TLC from time to time.
