Westerville Automotive

This is what I am looking for in an automotive service provider. I want to feel like I trust the recommendations for repair. I want to feel like I am getting a fair price. I want to have the service provided in a relatively short period of time. I want quality of repairs. I got all of that from Westerville Automotive. I feel had I taken this car into one of the more commercially recognizable brake repair shops, I would have gotten a higher bill and service that I ultimately didn't need. Westerville Automotive was upfront about what needed to be repaired, but also what DIDN'T. That spoke volumes. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Scheduling was easy. They were prepared for our visit. Called with an estimate before proceeding with repairs. Charges were competitive and service writer honored Angies list coupon as well. Didn't try to load on extras not needed. Did a complimentary check of other key service items. All went well. Will definitely return.

They did not try to upsell me, and actually advised me how easy it was to change some filters myself (saving me money). They were timely for the most part, although they start 30 mins late. But in all I was very satisfied.

Everything went very well and I plan to go back

We have taken all of our family's cars to Westerville Automotive for several years. They are always prompt, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and very professional. They are very honest and reliable. I recommend them to everyone. They are also conveniently located -- you can drop off your vehicle and then stroll through old Westerville's shops, have lunch, or go to Graeters while you are waiting for the work to be completed. They are an old fashioned car shop where it is the same people you get to know and trust.

My experience went very well. My vehicle was overheating as the radiator had a hole and two of my fan assemblies were not functioning allowing for a build up of heat. I did price the repairs competitively and Westerville Automotive was very competitive. Most importantly, they seemed to be the most knowledgeable and kept me abreast of the situation through regular communication. As my vehicle has a substantial amount of mileage and age, there are always small things that could be done on a preventative basis. Westerville Automotive was very helpful in advising what to do as opposed to spending monies unnecessarily.

I have been there several times.She got a quote from somebody that was real high. I took it down to Westerville and they fixed it for $100 less. I trust their judgement and I think they are honest. I think sometimes women get taken advantage of in automotive services. I also go there for oil changes and I needed a battery too, which they called to my attention. I was pretty sure that I was going to be needing a battery soon. I was glad that they checked that because I didn't want to get caught somewhere. They even let me sit there and wait for it. They try to get it done quickly. If I wanted to they would bring me all the way back home, but it's quite a distance so I just sit.

They were great; hundreds less than dealer, professional; friendly, I think it was around $600.

All went well. They did what they said and estimated they would do. No issues.

They did a good job. They told me what it was going to cost and that's what it cost.

They drove the truck daily and the problem only replicated itself once, recommended I keep an eye on it. Likely a fuel pump going bad, but it's not bad yet. Did not try to force me into $1000 repair.

This was less than the $135 that the dealer usually charges, and they used synthetic oil. Very pleased with the quality of their work. I've also taken my 1999 Miata there to diagnose a difficult issue, and they were very patient, professional and listened to me and took me seriously after the Mazda dealer basically blew me off.

They opened the car and closed it. The told me what the problem was. I simply went and picked up the car when it was ready. The were excellent. The staff was nice.

We will continue to use them. They do good work and the price is very reasonable. They have demonstrated that they will not do work that is not needed and explain all options, giving us they best service for the money.

I have been taking my cars to this facility for at least a year. The staff is competent, honest and thorough. They have kept the cars running. My husband primarily deals with the staff. They have car drop off available and I have never had any problem getting the cars into them.

Spoke with the owner, he was friendly and informative. Explained what would need to be done and how expensive to fix. Since this is an older vehicle ask what would happen if did not repair and was open to discussing options. Will do business in the future with him.

I was given an estimate of $1200 for the computer part at another shop, which did not include labor or other charges. Westerville Automotive replaced the part and the entire total, labor and all, came to roughly $625.00. They did the work quickly and efficiently and my car has been running great ever since. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone looking for professional service without the extreme prices other places cost.

The work was excellent, I'm happy with it.

They are great to work with. Easy to talk to and discuss what needs are important. They were quick to perform the service and spent time monitoring the work after the job was complete. I will definately use them again.

Very well. They diagnosed the problem, ran the solution by me to get approval, implemented the solution, and reviewed it (show/tell) when I returned to pick up the vehicle. Excellent service all the way.

(Review for the Uptown location.) Westerville Automotive does a fantastic job. They are always professional and go out of their way to provide clear and detailed breakdowns of what work is needed and what can be delayed. Prices are always reasonable, and much cheaper for regular maintenance than my dealership. We have two foreign cars - Japanese and German, and have had work done on both and have always been pleased with the results. I highly recommend this company!

Service went two days beyond the promise date. No loaner car provided so their lateness caused me grief in finding my own loaner car for those extra days. Had to return in the Spring so they could add more freon (?) Gas since the car AC was not properly cooling the interior cabin.

One time I had to take it back when the tail pipe was still knocking, after they had fixed it. They did the re-repair at no cost. In general their prices seemed reasonable.

I used Westerville Auto because of Angies List. I made an appointment to have it looked at - I suspected it was the front end suspension. To my surprise I showed up at the wrong location! They have 2 locations not too far apart. Despite my mistake, they managed to fit me in to their schedule as well as drive me back to work in New Albany. They were incredibly accommodating and finished the entire job by the next day. Total cost was right around $1100, which was about the going rate for that kind of job.

Went well but kept car overnight when they didn't really need to do if they had scheduled their time better. Car was dropped off in early morning and job was scheduled to take only 4 hours.
