Took in flat tire and had repaired while I waited.

I read the positive reviews for Westerville Automotive on Angie's List and decided to try them. They provided the initial diagnosis promptly on Saturday morning and had the van ready for pick up later that afternoon, as promised. I used my Angie's List coupon for the repair. I was delighted that everything went so smoothly (and that my van didn't require more extensive repairs), and I plan to make another appointment soon for the transmission fluid flush.

They let us know several hours after dropping car off the cost to fix..........decided not to fix....

FINALLY!! I really think I found some honest mechanics! I bought tires 1 1/2 yrs ago (and spent about $1100) put 23000 miles on 60k mile tires. Expensive!! Well, I had a leak in 2 of the tires and the place I bought them from, told me that they are not covered under warranty because they had "road" damage not "tire" damage. They wanted to replace ALL 4 tires for the bargain price of $1100 again. So, I drove to Westerville Automotive, if I am going to replace these tires I want someone else to do it. Kevin was AWESOME! They went out to my car and measured tire depth and notice that I still have 35k miles left on these tires. They didn't feel it necessary to replace them. But since the other tire place kept one of my tires, I needed to buy a spare. Kevin called around and got me the tire I wanted and fixed the leak in the other tire. I spent less than $300. Westerville Automotive saved me $800!!! I am glad we found them and we will be taking our other car there soon, which needs a bit of work. THANK YOU KEVIN!!

This was my first time using this shop and I'll go back again. They have a fixed fee to diagnose problem and set a fee. For me that's better than taking a guess. Once they described what they would do and the price, it was just a few hours until we were driving again.

Brakes were repaired as directed. Repair was completd on time and on the correct price quoted.

I was told by another place that I needed to have both wheel bearings replaced; one was bad and the other was on the way. The Westerville folks did a careful stethoscope diagnosis and concluded that only one bearing was bad, thus saving me quite a bit of money. They were courteous and provided me with a rides to and from (we only have one car).

I continually go to Westerville Automotive. They are honest mechanics and fix what needs to be fixed. They honor their warranties and do a great job.

Westerville is very straight forward with their inspections and evaluation of your cars needs. They will only perform the necessary work and at reasonable rates. I have a sense of confidence and trust in their service that I haven't been able to find with the local dealers. And this is what seemed to resonate with other reviews I saw on Angie's list . I'm actually excited to finally have a good place to take my three cars and to refer others to.

I had an oil change done today. They also checked my wipers and told me they needed replacement. The price is a reflection of the oil change and the wiper change. I had a $23 coupon from their website for the oil change. I always take my car to Westerville Auto and they do a first rate job.

They put the tires on at a good price, including mounting, balance and disposal fees. They were prompt and professional. We were very happy with the work that they did.

After reading the reviews on Angie's List about Westerville Automotive, we decided to call for an appt to replace the sway bars on the Accord. We were given an appt for the same day, and a ride to our Westerville home while the car was repaired. The staff was very personable. When the technician drove the car after the repair, he noticed the rattle caused by the loose heat shield, and for a few dollars more, it was secured

It went very well overall with no problems.

WA was able to get the first car in quickly, diagnosed the problem, and had an economical solution performed within hours. They diagnosed another issue which will need to be taken care of soon, but was not an immediate safety threat. I was so impressed, I brought in our second car for what I knew would be a more expensive check, and was again impressed with their efficiency, communication, and workmanship. It's well worth the drive, we've found our new auto repair shop.

I made an appointment with Westerville Automotive based on the reviews I saw. Needed an oil change and tire rotation, and felt that I likely needed brakes as well (77,000 miles, original brakes). I was told that they wouldn't do brake work unless it was necessary, and that they would inspect and let me know. I was called later that morning and told that front brakes had 20-25% left, and the rear were at about 50%. They gave me the estimate to replace the front (brakes + rotors), but also said it could likely wait until spring. I elected to wait until spring, and appreciated the advice. I think the estimate seemed a bit higher than I expected, and will likely price check when I decide to have them done, but if the estimates are similar I'll take the car back to Westerville Auto.

I already knew what needed replaced, so I called and asked for a quote to replace the intake gasket and since they were at it I decided to have the valve cover gaskets and thermostat replaced at the same time. Work was done on time as expected. I would use them again.

I set up an appointment to bring my car in at 9:00 Saturday morning. I got there a little early, just behind another lady who was dropping her car off for service. I let them know the dealer's assessment of my problem and they advised they'd get it in and take a look. About 15-20 minutes later, the gentleman came to the waiting room to advise that I have approximately 20,000 miles left on my existing brakes and they didn't need to be replaced at all! However, there was a stabilizer bar that had rusted out and needed to be replaced. I also knew that my battery (the original on my 7 Year old car) needed replacement, so I asked that he go ahead and perform that work. I truly appreciate their integrity and honesty- they could have sided with the dealership and taken me for work that didn't need to be performed. Now my car rides better (thanks to the new stabilizing bar!) and I have a much better piece of mind knowing my car is safe. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

We were very happy with the service done by Westerville Automotive.

Being new to the Columbus Area, I tried this shop due its ridiculously consistent positive ratings on several sites, including this one. Well, they failed to disappoint in my case as well. I dropped the car off, they provided shuttle service to my job. They called me later in the day to tell me, that yes, the noise was coming from my differential and not the wheel hub assembly. Steve, proceeded to tell me that, while yes they could and did perform that type of repair, they couldn't do it because they didn't have the correct parts. He made some recommendations of others who might be able to assist me, and was kind enough to guesstimate a price of what it should cost if I took it to a dealer. Steve told when I dropped the car off that a labor/diagnostic charge would be charged and that it would be $86 dollars. Because he couldn't do anything, he didn't charge me anything. This is one of the best experiences I have had with an automotive shop. I highly recommend them.

Westerville Automotive is AWESOME! Wonderful, honest, professional people. Will go back again and again. I recently purchased a 2007 Audi a4 convertible. It was purchased out of state. They performed a complete inspection and gave me a detailed report. I had them do an oil change, alignment, rotate and balance tires, replace rear brakes, and check a draw on the battery. There was NO pressure to have anything done. When they called with the estimate, I was told that the rear brakes had 5% left and didn't need to be changed this second, but soon. I had them go ahead with it while it was there. When Scott called to tell me the work was done, he left a message saying that the car was finished and I could get it any time. If I was unable to get it that day, to let them know and they would put it inside so that it was secure. Again - WONDERFUL people!

We found them to be competitive on price and warranty. They were able to get us in to have the work done in rather quickly and found them to be professional in the handling of our service.

Contacted Westerville Automotive when my engine light kept coming on and it began idliing funny. They got me in the next day and had a diagnosis within just a couple of hours. Kevin gave a very clear description of what was going on and what needed to be done. Repairs were finished by closed that day. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definately use them again.

All I can say is GREAT! My vehicle wasn't starting and the manual transmission wasn't going in to gear. By some miracle whatever caused the clutch to start acting up stopped. Westerville Automative replaced the dead battery and she was good as new. I appreciated their honesty and thoroughness of the vehicle inspection. I will be using them from now on and will recommend them to everybody! Great job.

I’ve worked with them for years! They have two offices and I normally go to the one on State St. I asked them if I’d be able to go to the other location, and they sent all the information to that location and took care of everything so I’d be able to do that. They’ve been pleasant, do what they say they will do, and I’ve had no extras on the bill. I trust what they tell me, especially since my car is getting a bit older. They’ve been pleasant to work with and efficient.

They were wonderful. They are excellent, very detailed, but slow. It went very well and I didn't have any issues with them. I didn't except to spend that much.
