PRECISION FITNESS REPAIR

The gentleman, I believe his name was Aaron, was nice; however, he did not resolve the issue with the treadmill. The treadmill walking belt had the same problem, sliding to the right side, when he left. He told me to resolve it, I needed to add plywood under the treadmill because the basement floor was not level. The treadmill was working fine in the same spot for 9 months prior to the issue with the belt. The belt had broke and I attempted replacement myself but I was unable to get it aligned correctly hence why I called this company. I paid the $85 charge but I still had to hire another company to fix the problem. The other company, Fitness Machine Technicians, was able to fix the problem and I was on the treadmill walking again (without the plywood). Unfortunately, I would not recommend Precision Fitness Repair.

Serviced two treadmills. Helped me determine one was a write off, but got the other up and running and outlined maintenance that could extend the life a little longer. Very thorough and friendly. Would definitely hire again

The belt on the treadmill had shifted all the way to the right. Aaron adjusted the belt and performed an overall cleaning of the treadmill. He advised that the treadmill was in good shape. He seemed very knowledgeable. I asked him to provide recommendations for replacing the treadmill sometime in the future and on stationary recumbent bikes. The information will be very helpful for future purchases.

Came out and analyzed a treadmill which we ended up replacing with a used rower from Precision. The company that produced our treadmill went out of business and I was looking for something different. It worked out great!

The treadmill is too old and most parts are no longer available but Aaron spent time explaining everything to me and educating me for when I buy the next treadmill.

I called Aaron Schmidt and his Secretary called back within a couple hours and set an appointment convenient for me. Aaron called to let me know he was running a little behind but still managed to arrive within the time specified. He examined the equipment, made the necessary adjustments, gave me his honest opinion on the longevity of said equipment and upon my request suggested a brand for future replacement. He also said I could call on his expertise when I made future fitness equipment purchases. His costs are reasonable, he was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and respectful of my home and myself. I found him to be an honest, hardworking individual and will use him for any future repairs or maintenance. I highly recommend this Company and Aaron for anyone needing fitness equipment repair.

Great--they arrived on time, did the work, and gave me advice on the machines I have now and offered to provide recommendations for future purchases (the brand I own isn't the greatest...).

Aaron came out on time and fixed both problems quickly. He took the time to explain the problem and also gave me some tips for maintaining the treadmill so I wouldn't need additional service. He was in and out in about an hour, and it's been running fine since. He was a pleasure to work with and go the job done quickly without any hassle.

Was very professional. Understood equipment and knew how to fix. Equipment works much better after he fixed it.

Aaron was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He was able to diagnose the issue and although it required parts to be ordered, he called Sole himself and told them what was needed. He followed up with me around the time the parts were expected and was able to come out and get the treadmill running again. If I have another equipment issue, I would definitely use them again.

Our treadmill was stuck in the incline position.  Aaron came and fixed the problem quickly but still thoroughly cleaned the treadmill.  He also make some good suggestions to keep the treadmill in top condition.

Aaron was right on time, very friendly and professional.  He came to
service my treadmill.  Had given me a price on phone, which was the
final amount.  Informed me life of treadmill was not much longer, so
while he could have done more worked and charged me for replacement
parts/labor he did not. Rather, he said just run treadmill till it dies,
then I should go look for a new one.  Very honest.

Emailed Aaron Schmidt about an estimate, told him what we needed (our old abused treadmill's belt was "slipping" and our cheap old manual elliptical machine needed tightening up).  He was able to give me an estimate via email.
He was in the area and showed up on time, he inspected and tuned up our old abused treadmill, fixed the problem with the slipping belt, and cleaned the inside of the motor housings.  Said my incline motor was great, belt is fine, but the overall motor that runs the belt's belt was wearing.  Stated that when that goes, instead of pouring money into the machine, it would most likely be time to get a new one.  
Suggestions he gave that were wonderful were:
#1) when it came time to get a new treadmill, he could recommend to us some good running models that are available to the public (non~professional type) if we wanted his advise.  Just call him and he'd help us out in recommendations for home use.
#2) said we needed a treadmill silicone lubrication kit and use it regularly to help maintain the life of the belt/treadmill.  I never knew this!  So I went out and got one immediately!
#3) said he did sell refurbished treadmills when we asked him if he did, but stated something to the effect that he only sold the higher end professional models that start around $1500, the kind that are in gyms and fitness places.  We may just take him up on that when the time comes.
He was an upstanding, smart, honest man who did a great job!  I'd recommend him to ANYONE!  Great service

We use our treadmill a lot --- I walk 2-4 times a week, 3+ miles and my husband tries to walk every day, usually 3-4 miles. I found Aaron on Angie's List. He had great recommendations that bore themselves out with us. Aaron worked us into a busy schedule. He was able to get here within a week and came exactly when he said he would. He took the treadmill apart to diagnose the noise problem and found, as I described above that it needed lots of new parts. (We were a bit surprised by that; the Treadmill is about 6 years old, but the Pacemaster we had before this one lasted 19 years without this kind of problem. In any case, Aaron was helpful in discussing with us the pros and cons of fixing this treadmill vs. getting a new one. Since we really like this treadmill, especially since it has a very small footprint --- which is important because of where we have it placed, and new treadmills of this quality are significantly more than the repairs were going to cost, we decided to fix it. The parts took a couple of weeks to come in, but Aaron called as soon as he had everything and scheduled a re-visit to install everything. He did a great job and didn't even seem to mind narrating the process with my husband looking over his shoulder. We learned a lot about the treadmill and about the maintenance we should have been performing regularly (but weren't). We will likely have Aaron out once a year to clean the treatmill so we can make it last as long as possible.

Aaron diagnosed the problem with my treadmill and had to make a return visit with replacement parts for the repair.  He was conscientious of my time (confirming our appointment) and thorough in making the repair and checking the machine to ensure it was fixed.

He performed the repair for a very fair price.  Everything about the experience was excellent.

He is very pleasant and easy to work with.  He is always prompt.  I will definitely use him again.
