Noon Sharpening

Went in, gave me till noon. Picked up a few items, came back and knives were ready.

He did a great job! I previously got my knives sharpened by someone else and he was great about pointing out things that I should know about with my knives.

Kevin Noon was extremely pleasant, efficient and helpful. It's very convenient that he goes to various places.

Mr. Noon is quick, accurate, friendly and reasonably priced. He cleaned my shears by taking them apart.

I have used Mr. Noon for many years in sharpening tools for my house and as a seamstress for Civil War clothing. He is efficient & very personable.

Kevin Noon travels around the Midwest with his sharpening equipment. He was at two Heinen's stores near me yesterday. The stores did not post the hours he would be there, so I looked up Noon Sharpening online and emailed Kevin, and he responded promptly and courteously. I dropped off all my knives and scissors with him at 9:15 a.m., ran errands, and when I returned at 10:30 they were all finished. He threw in a couple small pairs of scissors for free. The knives and scissors were returned safely bundled and in sleeves in a plastic bin. He's fun to chat with and extremely professional. Kevin pointed out some tiny cracks in the wooden handles and explained how I can sanitize and seal them. He has an email list and will let you know when he'll be in the area next. I've gone to sharpeners before at farmer's markets, but they are hit-and-miss. My husband was impressed by how sharp the blades were after Kevin performed the work. I will be using him again.

Dropped off the knives and told Kevin I would be back around 1 1/2 hours later to pick them up. He was working on sharpening the knives when I returned.

Its difficult these days to find someone to sharpen garden shears or knives. This is done while you wait. Located in convince local stores on a regular schedule. Great.

Yesterday I had a crazy day and dropped my knives off at Hermons in Brecksville but was unable to wait for them. He let me pick them up after he left and send him a check.

He was here at Laurel Lake Retirement Community where he worked from 9:00 am until he finished everybody's knives. Very personable & efficient!

At the store (Heinan's), he was professional, friendly and had a sense of humor. I dropped off my knives with him before I shopped, and they were ready for me when I was finished shopping. I have good quality knives, but have never had them sharpened professionally...I just do them at home by myself. Now, I can't believe I waited this long to take them to Noon's! They are incredibly sharp, to the point where I know that I have to be extra careful handling them. And that is a good thing! I chopped lots of veggies and meat for a stir fry tonight, and the change in the ease of chopping was amazing! I will definitely use him again, and will recommend him to others.

I had this serviced performed at the Brecksville Heinens . Kevin said they would be ready in 20 minutes and they were! He also explained how I can fix a small crack in one of the handles. He guarantees his work and told me to let him know if any knife did not meet my satisfaction. I was very pleased with his work.

Kevin did an excellent job. He did the work at a heinen's. The work was completed when promised. He was very knowledgeable. He told me one of my trimmers needed to be repaired and gave me suggestions as to where I could get the parts to repair it. I will certainly use his services again.

Mr noon was in the pinetreeheinens by 930am to start his sharpening service at 10am. I gave him 7 knives and 2 pair of scissors. When i returned at 12, my items were perfectly ready. I am a repeat customer and can locate him online. He is very involved.

He was skilled, has a wonderful sense of humor, does very good work and is extremely knowledgeable about knives and what to do with them. He taught me about caring for some cracks on the knives.

I dropped off both items and they were ready when promised. Mr. Noon made the serrated knife as sharp as it was when it was new.

Just wonderful. I have Japanese knives, and they require special knowledge and experience to sharpen properly. Kevin knows his stuff.

I learned of service at a quilting meeting a few days earlier. Followed up when told my shears could be sharpened. Very pleased with results and price.

I am a pro chef and this is the ONLY provider I trust with my chef knives. He uses a slow grind stone, so I don't have to worry about him taking the temper/overheating my knives. His edges are very good and hold well, meaning I'm not back there every week. Sharp knives also lessen the chances of cutting oneself. This guy provides top notch service and really enjoys his work. Would recommend him to take care of all your knives. Additionally, he informed me that he is able to do Kosher knives as well. Great guy! 5 Stars!!!

I make Oriental Rugs using a frameless punch needle technique. So scissors are critical to getting my rugs finished and looking unbelievable. I use only Gingher scissors and have many. I brought is 7 pair of small scissors and they were done in 15 minutes. I have been mailing the scissors back to Gingher company and paying $8.00 per pair. I was so excited to use my scissors. I tried each pair and found them to be very sharp. I now have a local place to get my scissors sharpened without sending them in the mail. The turn around time is great with Noon Sharpener!

First impression is very good. We look forward to seeing how our newly sharpened knives work for us. Very much looking forward to bringing him more of our culinary knives to sharpen as well as our outdoor knives. He presents as very knowledgeable and I appreciate that. He offered up some tips for taking care of our cutlery because some of the handles on our knives are showing their age. I'm giving it a try and we'll see how it goes. He's very friendly and professional. We had three 7 inch knives and one 9 inch knife to be sharpened. From drop off to pick up he had them taken care of in 45 minutes.

Kevin was great ! He explained everything very well. He told me that one of my knives wasn't worth sharpening (he was right !). I will definitely go back to him and recommend him.

The service was perfect. The price was very good. Having really sharp knives in my kitchen is important to me and this gentleman provides me with perfectly sharpened cutlery. I have used his services twice now, and will definitely use them again.
