Noon Sharpening

The sharpening service was fast, well done, and Mr. Noon is so pleasant. It was lovely to speak with him, and my kids loved looking at his sharpening equipment. I will definitely bring my knives back. No more dull knives here!

I had knives sharpened at Heinen's. I left the knives with Kevin, and he promptly called when they were finished.

Kevin sharpened 8 knives and a pair of scissors. My knives are now as sharp as when they were new 20+ years ago. Glad to have finally find someone who sharpens knives. He has a mobile business, traveling from Heinen's to Heinen's in Northeast Ohio. He has a schedule of locations on his website. It is very convenient. I saw Mr. Noon's set up when I entered the store. After a quick chat about price and service hours, I ran home and grabbed my knives. I made it back just before he wrapped up and he squeezed me in.

I'm glad I finally found a skilled knife sharpener. Even better, Kevin takes his business on the road to various places like Heinen's and local farmer's markets. I brought my knives to him at the Rocky River Heinen's. Prices were very reasonable (pricing seems to be depend on the size of the knife, may be other factors). Noon Sharpening provides quality service and convenience!

Mr. Noon very patiently answered all my questions and is a great teacher! Knives are great. He's the first one I found who sharpens serrated knives. Defintately will use him again. I had my knives done at Heinen's in Middleburg Heights.

I dropped off knives and garden tools, picked them up after and did a few errands. They were safely wrapped to transport home.

I was able to go in and find Noon's sharpening station set-up right near the door. I dropped off my knives, paid for the service and then left for about an hour. If Noon would have been gone, I could have picked my knives up at the store service desk, but he was just finishing up my knives so I picked them up from him. It was easy and my knives are now sharp again!

Greeted graciously with a smile and what did you bring me? He looked at my items & said he thought he could repair - if not, no charge. He fixed & sharpened the item.

Kevin suggested I contact the manufacturer for a replacement nut & bolt because the existing ones were loose and could not be tightened completely. He did not charge extra for this added courtesy. The scissors were sharpened and cut nicely. Very reasonably priced. I like that he travels to different locations to provide this service. It only took 15 minutes!

Kevin Noon does great work. I dropped off my 4 knives to Kevin at Heinen's and he sharpened all of them by the time I was done shopping. You have to check him out at the locations he goes to. He goes to a lot of the farmers markets around town as well as Heinen's grocery stores. To see where he is, go to noonsharpening.com. He noticed that my 8" cleaver had a nick in the blade and he grinded it out. it's good as new. My 6" chef knife is my favorite knife and it has been overworked. I've debated whether I should retire it. It's 20 years old and I couldn't get it to stay sharp with my home sharpening stones. Kevin sharpened the blades so well, I have changed my decision. I've been cutting tomatoes with no problem since Kevin sharpened my old blade. He's very pleasant, quick and very affordable. I believe he charges a dollar an inch. He does this sharpening with a classic non-electric sharpening grinder.
