Quote was simuler to my previous provider. Elected to stay with provider that I had been with for several years.

We had an issue with the wood in the first delivery. I called Peggy and they responded immediately and fixed the problem and no charge. They were courteous, professional and fast!

Their quote was about $8000 for twenty or thirty trees. I would say they responded very timely. The guy came out the next day or that weekend may be but it was pretty quick. He took his time with us and was very friendly. He's the one I would have wanted to go with but we found a quote for about half the price so it kind of justified the $4000. If they had been closer in price we definitely would have gone with them probably.

Napier and Son Tree service removed our ~100 year old silver maple that was less than 10 feet from our house and garage, with electrical wires on 2 sides of the tree. The tree diameter was at least 4 feet across. The tree was hollow inside, and had dropped a large limb on the house in June, so we felt it had to be removed. The job was completed in a single day, and included grinding the stump. The stump grinding provided us with enough mulch to mulch all of our flower beds. The site was cleaned up after and our overall experience was very good. The only sad part was saying goodbye to our tree.

They showed up as scheduled to provide an estimate. They showed up as scheduled to complete the work. Even though they had large trucks in our front yard, after they left there was no evidence that any heavy equipment had been in our yard. The area they cleared looks great.

When a cord isn't a cord... I actually didn't expect this at all based on the reviews on this site. The quality of the wood is fine, but the quantity isn't. A cord of stacked wood is 4 feet high, 4 feet wide, and 8 feet long. 128 cubic feet of neatly stacked wood. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cord_(unit) What we received was a stack of wood that was 3.5-4 feet high (average 3.75), 3 feet wide, and 8 feet long. This works out to 90 cubic feet. That's 30% less than the cord we paid for. Of course, I can call and explain this and they'll may send someone out with more wood, but should we have to fool with this? How many people actually know what a cord of wood is and will measure it? Wood is often roughly measured and the total can vary somewhat, but 30% is an excessive difference. Is it intentional? I have no idea. It seems that it is something that should be checked by the guys stacking the wood. Had I been home when they stacked it, I would have called them on it at the time.

I was very pleased with the professional work performed by this company. They did a good job of trimming my trees and cleaned up all of the brush. They were respectful of my property and good to deal with. I would strongly recommend them to others and will use their services in the future.

I called for an estimate and they came out in a timely manner. They were very professional and work was done on time. The crew did a great job cleaning up and I'm very pleased with the work. I used them again 5 months later to cut down another tree.

I called Napier & Son Tree Service to see if they could deliver a cord of wood to my parents' house as a gift. They delivered it the next day. They were polite, helpful and prompt.

Called Napier and Sons and received great seasoned firewood delivered within 24 hours and placed right where I needed it. You have a return customer!!

They were out the next day after the estimate to remove. They worked fast, left no mess, set aside some logs I wanted to keep, and were extremely friendly and courteous. I even saw a guy put a piece of broken fence back in place and he did not have to do that. Although I did not need it they were so flexible with payment as well. Since it happened around Christmas he was more worried about me having money for Christmas than getting paid on time. He asked if I wanted to defer payment. You NEVER see people like this any more. Just great people to deal with!! I would highly recommend their service.

Everything went well. On the initial contact, they were very informative and very helpful. They came out promptly and the person they sent out knew what he was doing. He did a little extra just because he saw it needed to be done. Their prices were reasonable, and they did a really good job. I was very happy with their work and I plan to use them again.

I told Roy that I really wanted an old fashioned swing and he came back the next day with it already built and put on the tree! It was such a nice surprise. He also trimmed honeysuckle trees very nicely. Roy was here for 2 full days and took out 10 trees. He was wonderful!
