They were very good in explaing what needed to be done

I received a flier and called the number listed. My original service date was rescheduled due to the weather, but they kept me well informed of everything. It was very quick and easy.

It worked out fine. They did everything they said they were going to do and for the price they said they were going to charge. I was pleased with their work; they were neat and did not make a mess.

They were very clean. The way they got everything done was done professionally.

The crew worked well together & was completed in 3 hours.

I decided to revise my previous review of this company because after that review the company did call me about the issues I had with their services, and they are going to come out and take a look at the driveway, and hopefully correct the problems; which is very professional. They explained to me that they stand by their product, and will do what they can to make me satisfied. The issues I was having is that the sealant is coming up in some spots. They explained to me that sometimes the tires on very hot day can bunch up the sealant in areas; which is what I think happened. Even after waiting 48 hours to drive on it, this can still happen.

They seemed to be very professional and their prices were good.

Very professional to speak with over the phone. Answered all my questions in depth. Courteous and informative. Work was completed on time and with good results. I am a repeat customer and the overall quality and customer service is an improvement over my previous service. Will use AmeriCoat again in the future.

They put out a flyer in the mailbox and let us know when they'll be in the neighborhood.

When they called they explained the service they would provide to include power washing the driveway. I happened to come home right when they pulled up. I watched and they did not wash the driveway at all. I have been using them for approx. 10 years, so I have to wonder how many services I've payed for that they did not perform. When I walked through the yard to go in my front door, neither employee acknowledged my presence. I was within 10 feet of them. I am on hold with the company right now and have been holding for 9 minutes and 23 seconds.

I had real good experience with AmeriCoat, from beginning to end of the work. They were easy to communicate with and did what they said they would do and when they would do it. We had crack filler and sealer put on the driveway. They did a neat job. The only complaint would be that they cut down a perennial plant near the driveway without asking if this would be ok to do so, but I sort of understand that action, for the plant was on the driveway edge. They got a little sealer on one the the decorative stones, but once again the stone was right up against the driveway so can understand why that would happen. I will use them again. Felt their cost was very reasonable.

They were prompt and reliable. They follow up to check the work and make sure everything is ok. Reasonable prices.

I have a fairly large driveway with a circle so the price is quite reasonable. They call and come when they say they will.

They did a real good job and they cleaned up after themselves and the price was good. My experience with them was good, and I would consider using them again in the future.

It turned out fine. They were cheap, but it does tend to fade away, so you have to do it about every year. I liked the price, and the scheduling is always easy. They come and go quickly.

After the third rescheduling they failed to arrive. I expect that a few day's rain will lead to a few day's delay. I did not expect delay and confusion that appeared disproportionate to the alleged cause.

We have been using AmeriCoat for several years, they have great service and very fair prices. We have been happy with them over the years, but this year, we found out how well they take care of their customers After they sealed and recoated our driveway, we noticed several places where the black coating splashed up on our white garage doors. I gave them a call and they sent someone out to clean them. When the cleaning did not remove the spots, I called them again and to my pleasant suprise the offered to repaint both doors at no charge. Sure enough several days later we came home from work to see freshly painted garage doors. It is nice to work with a company that stands by its work. We will continue to use them and recommend them to friends.

I was looking to have my driveway replaced in the spring, and had them come out and give me an estimate. Twice they called me and asked if I was ready, and I told them no because I was having a new floor put in my garage and wanted that done first. I was impressed that they were following up. I finally get the floor completed so I pull out my estimate and realize that I wanted our concrete patio removed, and they did not figure that in the price. I called them FOUR times and asked them if they could correct the estimate and get back to me. All four times they said that they would call me back and did not. Finally, I called and asked to speak to a supervisor. They were extremely apologetic, and stated that they would have an estimator call me to come out and look at the patio again since it had been so long. An hour later I receive a call from the estimator, and he states he was sorry, and would come out on Tuesday and get the estimate back to me on Wednesday. Well, guess what., No call, no follow up, more than two weeks later. I am going to take my $5,000 and spend it somewhere else. I have already told three of my neighbors that have used them in the past, and we are all done with them.

Good experience - from the call to schedule service to the company giving us a reminder call about our appointment, to the sealing job itself. The job was performed neatly with no residue noticeable on the grass or sidewalks. Thanks!

This is a follow-up on a report that I made in July. After finally showing up to clean the asphalt they had splashed on my garage door, they used a cleaner that left blotches on the permanently painted steel garage door. What a mess. After the worker and quot;cleanedand quot; the spots, he looked up at me and smiled and said, and quot;Looks like you have spots on your door. and quot;Mikeand quot; came out to look at the door. In the interest of brevity, here is what Americoat considers a solution to the problem. They acknowledged that they had damaged the door and they agreed that they should leave the house in the condition in which they found it (i.e., undamaged). and quot;Mikeand quot; contacted the company that had sold me the door, and he also contacted the manufacturer of the door, all in an attempt to prove that the door was at fault and to evade his responsibility. His final effort was to apply Turtle Wax (!!!) to the door, all to no avail. When I told him that I thought he should replace the door, his reply was this: we have made a good faith effort to repair the problem but could not and the spots were not that bad. Actually the spots are visible about 70% of the time; when the bright sunshine is shining on them, they are barely visible, but most of the time they are pretty obvious. In fact, I have had several people comment on them. My advice would be NEVER to hire this company. The whole problem could have been avoided if the workers had exercised even minimal care in applying the sealant; I was at home at the time, and they could have asked me to raise the door since obviously they were sufficiently sloppy and incompetent to do the job correctly. I intend to file a complaint to the BBB. and quot;Mikeand quot; needs to man-up and take ownership of the problem he created. Update: I am finalizing my report on this company, which responded to my second complaint by stating on the List that they are working with me on a solution. Wrong. After Angie's List contacted them, they said they would consult among the managers and get back to Angie's. Over a month passed, and no one from Americoat contacted either Angie's List or me. I think that saying in effect and quot;We will respondand quot; is not a response but a delay tactic. I believe that Americoat entered my property and applied more Turtle Wax to the garage door (an absurdly inadequate and quot;solutionand quot;) without my knowledge or consent, and I have been tempted to press charges. This company is absolutely the worst contractor I have ever worked with in my life. They were sloppy and incompetent; they did not conduct business in good faith (the word and quot;dishonestand quot; comes to mind); they damaged my property and admitted that they had done so, yet they would not step up to the plate to take responsibility; they were unprofessional, unresponsive, and at times argumentative. And I could go on, but I want to be done with them.

After several days, I finally received a call back to set up the work. Then there was several delays due to the weather. Finally, I asked that I receive a call back from the people doing the work, so I could be there. I received a call 30 minutes before they were due to be there. I had previously asked them to give me more time to get there because this is a rental home and I had to drive. I did not receive a call from the people on the truck so I could coordinate with them. I did not make it on time. This is a lovely rental home that I own. I like to be present just as if I lived there. My tenant told me a young man did the job alone. The quality was NOT good. They left a piece of white concrete showing at the top where a new section of sidewalk had just been installed. This should have been covered. The, at the bottom of the driveway, on the far right, they did not fill in an indentation prior to applying asphalt. The asphalt coating was very thin. This occurred over the entire driveway. I called the office right away and spoke to John, explaining it all to him. He said someone would call me back. Now, after almost 3 weeks, I have not only not received a call back, I have only received a bill. This is not a large driveway. They did terrible work! This is the first time I have ever given a negative report from anyone I have used from Angie's List. I have used their people on three homes that I own. Please help. Overall it was very bad. Thank you. They came back and remedied the situation. It took them about three weeks to get back in touch with me after I called them. Finally, someone called me. They did a good job on everything after they came back for a second time.

applied two coats of asphallt sealer on a two year old driveway.. trimed edges and blew off dirt before sealing. work was as stateed. arrived on time and did a professional job.

My seal coating did not go well at all. First off, I hired them in May, and on June 3rd is when the first application went on. It was put on poorly with leaves, stones and debris mixed in with the tar. Also, there were large streaks from the middle of the driveway to the bottom. I called and complained, was told they would be out to repair the following week. They cancelled at least two times sue to 'possible rain'. Both days it never rained. While on our honeymoon, they came on June 28th to repair the initial application. I have to say that the 'repair' was far worse than the first one. They didn't go to the top or sides of my driveway and the streaks were worse than before. I called again on July 3rd to tell them that it looked awful. The customer service rep assured me that a supervisor would be fixing it soon. I had to call back two more times until a repair date of AUGUST 3rd was made. They called to warn of rain, and I had to tell them that if it wasn't fixed, I was not going to pay the bill and not have them back. They showed up on the 3rd and did a very nice job this final time. It stinks that it took over two months to have a simple seal put on my driveway.
