Excellent. Calling to schedule was easy. Workers were prompt and explained situation with weather (rainy). Worked on a Sunday to complete the second coat. Didn't try to sell me stuff I don't need. Left a bill and had no problems accepting payment after the work was completed. Easy pay-by-phone. I've owned the house for nearly five years, this is the third time I've used Americoat, and will definitely continue to use the company.

Other than some scheduling changes (on both sides), the job was completed professionally and as promised.

I noticed some cracks recracked and i called them to ask and they set me up for a manager to review my driveway and then they explained to me what was happening to the driveway. They offered to retreat the cracks.

This is the third year I used this company. No hidden costs. Easy to work with. Gives clear information as to care and maintenance. Leaves the area clean when they leave.

The iriginal date to be completed was susposed to be a week earlier but needed to be rescheduled . The company called me and gave me a selection of dates. They were nice and accommodating over the phone. The work was done well and in an efficient manner.

The employees came, and knocked on my door to let me know what they were doing and about how long it would take, they filled in a few cracks and sealed the drive way everything was beautiful they even took the time to remove the weeds from around the driveway as well in the driveway in the cracks. will defiantly use this company in the future!

I received a post card in the mail with a price to seal the driveway on a neighborhood day. All I had to do was make a phone call. Americoat personnel was pleasant on the phone and sealing the driveway.

I am displeased with my experience with Americoat. I called the company many times and Americoat was reluctant to come back and fix the issues promptly. Americoat deserves an D due to the following reasons. 1. Delivered one month later than promised. Paid a down payment on August 15, removed driveway and sidewalk on August 28, Poured cement sidewalk on Sept 9 , Laid asphalt driveway on Sept 16. Could not park car in my garage for 4 weeks! 2. Allows late. Said that they would be over at 10 am. Did not show up until 2:30 pm. Said that they would come back out to fix something. never showed up. 3. Safety issues. Removed the old sidewalk without putting up safety barricade and ribbon. I called and they said that they would be right over to fix it. They never showed up , so I had to barricade the hole myself. 4. Cement runoff stained the old sidewalk. Promised to power wash the sidewalk, and never completed the job. 5. Ran out of asphalt while paving and did not fill gap 4 inch on left side of the driveway for 10 feet. 6. Expensive, double the price of other companies and not worth the difference. Contract requires payment the day of the paving. Not customer friendly, would not recommend them to anyone.

I originally contacted the company to fill the cracks in my driveway on 8/4/14.. They never did come for the promised estimate after numerous calls. I was told they could do without the estimate, I agreed. The first crew came on a windy, rainy day.(9/5/14) I asked them if it was a bad day to do it, they said no problem. Hundreds of leaves were embedded in my driveway under the coating.and it rained right after they left, and they did not fill my cracks with asphalt, they only poured coating in them. They came to fix the problem on Sept 19th. When they came, they came late in the day, although I was told to be ready at 8:00am. I told them what needed to be done. One of the crew had a temper tantrum, stamping his feet and getting in my face yelling he was not going to fix the problem because he didn't cause it in the first place, and he was tired. Thank goodness my neighbor was there and witnessed the whole thing. I was scared by his actions, he really shook me up. He refused to do anything and left. I called and was told the manager would call me. He never did. I called again and the next crew came on Oct 2nd., this time with a manager on the truck, They filled my cracks with asphalt for the first time. Very polite. The owner called while they were there and said they would reduce my bill. I would hope so, as none of the work was finished except for one filling of the cracks. All the leaf prints are still in my driveway, as well as many leaves still embedded in the driveway. It was a very bad job, which will need to be fixed by a different company next year. They did not follow through on their promises. What a mess!

HORRIBLE workmanship, and unprofessional!!! We have used this company for several years, They even installed a New driveway for us 3 years ago. Everything was good until this year. The first coat on 8/27/14 NO crack sealer and NO priming of oil spots.. 1 hour later it began raining. I called to reschedule the second coat and complain about cracks and oil spots. NO comment from them on that. They also did not trim and blow off driveway, grass, leaves and small plants along side of drive just sealed right into surface. But they tried to talk me into having second coat put on after it stopped raining. I mentioned the driveway would be WET. They said the would squeegee the driveway. I said there would still be water on it and was told and quot;well there is water in the sealer anyway, so it won't hurtand quot; Their add says NEVER watered down!! They came out 2 weeks later to finish the job. Workmen were rude and unprofessional. I said that I wanted cracks filled and oil spots were already coming thru 1st coat. I was told by workmen that crack filler would cause bumps, I mentioned that I didn't care, I didn't want cracks that would fill with ice and pop apart the driveway. Nope just poured on buckets of sealer before I could even get out of the driveway and spread it. Showed them where oil spots needed attention since they were already coming thru 1st coat. Nope it's to late, has to be done on 1st coat. I called to complain in detail about workman ship and attitude. I said we have used them for many years but will NEVER again use them. I was told by the lady on the phone and quot;and Iuml;'m so sorry you had such problemsand quot; That was it!!! NEVER received a call back from anyone about the problems. They obviously do NOT CARE about long time customers.

The guys were great and professional.

We were rescheduled once, because of weather. That I can understand. But on the day (a Friday) we were rescheduled for, the crew did not show up until 6 pm. They put one coat of sealant on. I told them that I understood it would have to dry a while before they could put on the second coat. They said they would check back later to see if the first coat was dry, and if it was, they would put on the second coat. If it wasn't dry, a crew would come back on Saturday and apply the second coat. Well, the second coat was not applied on Friday. When I called Saturday, I found that you can't get in touch with anybody there on the weekends. On Monday morning I called again, and the Americoat representative said they hadn't sent any crews out on Saturday, even though they told me they would. He said they would send someone to apply the second coat on Tuesday. The crew did show up Tuesday about 10 am to apply the second coat. But now our cars have to spend 4 nights parked on the street (instead of 2) because they didn't do both coats on the same day. The engine in one of our cars does not perform well (hitching, stalling) when it is not parked in the garage, so we are not happy about this. The Americoat representative didn't have much to say about this. We won't be using Americoat again.

I have used Americoat of years. Only one time I didn't use them and the job done by that company was so poor that they had to return to do it correctly. Went back to Americoat and for the most part have always been please. This year, the sealant was done sloppily. Black sloped on my front porch columns and all over the grass. The grass will grow out, but the columns will have to be cleaned or painted to cover. I will be contacting Americoat to see what they want to do and I will revise this report after that conversation.

I called and got on the schedule to have the driveway (120 feet long) sealcoated two weeks later. I then got a call that they could do it the next day. The guys arrived promptly as scheduled, edged and cleaned and put the first coat on. They paid particular attention to some larger cracks. The winter of 2013-2014 had been pretty rough on the driveway. They came back about 3 hours later to apply the second coat. All the work was done well, they left no mess. (I previously had a company that seal coated a good portion of my lawn while they were at it.) These guys left no residue, no footprints, just a well sealed driveway. This company had sealed my driveway previously, did good work then, and so I hired them again this time. I have no problem recommending them and I'll hire them again when the need arises.

They gave me a 15% discount. They always give me a discount, I have used them multiple times. It went well. They are guys that you can talk to while they work. They did a good job.

They were quick to return my call for request for estimate. Did have to wait a month for service in my area and then got rescheduled due to rain but did reschedule pretty quickly. Very professional and so far the results look great (only been a few weeks since the second coat).

Since they capped the driveway, I have had water leak in to my garage. They have come back two times and are never able to correct the issue. Now to date, they wont return calls right away or follow up on the job to rectify the situation. I'm not pleased that I paid for them to cap my driveway for the same amount that I could have paid for a new driveway.

Prompt service and good price. The quality of materials used is very poor. This is how they keep their prices low. Leaves the driveway gummy and with a sheen. Any cracks they seal will be very gummy and never seem to dry. We had tire marks for months in our driveway and we waited the length of time recommended to dry before driving. I have used them twice in the past and my parents used them once and we all had the same quality issue each time. I will not use them again.

Had never used their company before, I received a postcard in the mail stating their company would be in my neighborhood on a certain date. I decided to use them since the company I have always used previously had a huge price increase. Very happy with the results and much cheaper!
