Thank you Angie's List for another great find! Could have gone to a carpet selection store closer to Westlake, but chose to give Frederick's a try because of reviews on Angie's List. Mallory was our salesperson. She is a gem and really knows her products. She selected a Beaulieu Carpet, which is just beautiful and adds class and richness to the living room. The carpet was delivered 1 1/2 weeks after selection. The installer was Mike. He is another true asset to the company. He very patiently moved and jockeyed the living room rug so the hardwood flooring made an even perimeter around the room. Mike informed me he also does the rug cleaning for Frederick's, which will come in very handy when the time comes for professional cleaning. We do want to purchase kitchen and bathroom flooring probably next year and now we know exactly where it will be bought at Frederick's. If you want a great product, great service and great people, call Frederick's, a truly class act.

They were very pleasant, and the selection was great. They have an excellent reputation in the Cleveland area. They were the runner-up for the job, but the distance of the store from my house was the main reason that I didn't pursue doing business with them. It was just tough for me to get and return samples.

This place is just great. Everyone is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. No one is pushy and they give you all the time you need to make your decisions. They are very accommodating with scheduling the installation and they did a very nice job. If you want a no-nonsense experience with an excellent result, we highly recommend them.

Have used Frederick's for carpet and had a great experience with them, so went back to the showroom to look at laminate flooring when it was time to get that work done. Showroom staff was helpful in explaining products and looking at samples. I had an infant along, and the young lady there even occupied the baby for a bit while I looked at the materials. Showroom staff also carried all the large samples to the car so I could carry the baby to the car. Estimate was done quickly and as scheduled. The price was decent. Needed custom moldings, and getting their custom molding person out to do drawings took a little while, but it did not hold up the process. Installer was courteous and friendly during the 3 days of installation. Neat too. Custom molding estimate was more than it turned out to be, so the price when all was over came out under quote by a hundred bucks or so, which is nice. Very pleased with the finished product.

Excellent. May pay a little more, but well worth the price! Very knowledgeable people in store. Installer was excellent. Took a little longer than anticipated to complete, but installer was a perfectionist and the final results showed. Would definitely use FREDERICK'S FLOOR COVERINGS again.

Mike the installer from Frederick's Floorcoverings did an excellent job of installing new Galaxy carpeting in one of our bedrooms. He also did an excellent job of stretching and trimming carpeting in another bedroom. Mike was very professional and punctual. He cleaned everything up after he was finished. This is our second project with Frederick's Floorcoverings and we have been very pleased with the installers and professionalism of owners and staff.

The overall experience with Frederick's was very positive, we dealt directly with Rick Frederick, and he helped us find carpet that we really loved and could afford. Their installers were also very nice, and when I second guessed the color of the dining room carpet they called back to the shop and had someone drive the sample book all the way from Parma to Lakewood to double check. That's service!

The work was excellent. The installer (Nick) was very courteous,got right to work, and cleaned everything up before he left. The project was extremely difficult since the flooring had to be installed around the furnace and concrete utility tub legs. Everything matched perfectly and we cannot find the seams. Barbara did an excellent job of showing and explaining the different types of floor coverings to us. We highly recommend Frederick's Floor Coverings and will be using them on future projects.

The business owner came to my home to provide an estimate for tiling a foyer area where the carpet was badly soiled. To his credit, he suggested that the stain could probably be removed by simply cleaning the carpet, which would be less expensive and less disruptive than tiling. He also provided the tiling estimate. The carpet cleaning was performed by a punctual, polite, and neat technician. It was very effective, completely removing the stain in question, as well as generally cleaning all of the carpeting. I could not be more pleased with the service from this company.

From the first call to the visit at the store, everyone at Frederick's was polite and eager to help. Mallory assisted us with selecting carpet type and style and narrowing down the sample selection. She was a pleasure to work with, very easy-going, and never inconvenienced by our questions and requests. We were able to take home several samples to view in the space and not feel rushed to return them promptly. When we requested more samples, they showed up at our home just a few days later. Rick was timely and efficient with the measurement appointment. He took time to discuss installation options and answer any questions. The installation team wasn't as impressive. They weren't very friendly. They didn't clean up after themselves. When I questioned them about a loose corner, they claimed they couldn't reach it with the nailer. They didn't offer to try to resolve it.

This is one of the best companies that I have ever worked with. They are so professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs any type flooring. They were on time, helpful and did a professional installation. It is a small space and the tech had to move around in there. This is Angie's Quality, A+. I would definitely use them again.

I had no idea of what I wanted. However, Barbara (the representative in the store) and Rick were patient and very attentive to my needs. I had specific requirements, and they worked very closely with me to make sure that I was satisfied. They were timely for the appointments (early by 10-15 minutes). The price was very reasonable compared to other places that I explored. The customer service that they displayed was exceptional. I have already referred them to others. I have future needs and will only use them for my flooring needs. The installers were exceptional as well. They were very professional and hard workers. No swearing or other foul language while completing the job. The most impressive part of all, was the installers showed me other deficiencies in my bathroom and gave me cost-effective ways to correct them. They didn't have to do that! I love this company!

Owner came out to measure and give estimate of product and installation. The product itself was not too pricey, but the labor was more than what we anticipated. The owner did work with us to say that if we did a few things ourselves, like move out the appliances and toilet the price would go down a bit. We still are not sure we may hold off and price a few others or not do the job at all. Otherwise friendly service and accommodating by both the owner and the sales representative at the store location.

We visited Frederick's store and chose carpeting. Rick Frederick was very knowledgeable about different products and spent alot of time with us during the selection process. Delivery and installation was quick and we were able to have the carpet installed over a few days which allowed us to finish areas and prepare for the next. The installers were punctual and neat.

I spoke with Anita Frederick by phone. In addition to being very polite, she managed to schedule my cleaning for the day after I called. The cleaner arrived early (rather than late like some companies) and cleaned my carpets to my satisfaction. The cleaner was polite and talkative, and he had years of service. Special attention was placed to trouble spots on my carpet. There was no pressure to buy extra items such as deodorizer and scotch guard. I will hire this company again.

Outstanding service. Very professional. Cleaned up after the job was done. We caused minor damage to the floor after it was installed (our fault, not the installer's) and they came back very promptly to fix it. It's impossible to even see where the damage occurred.

The company was very professional. The installer was thorough and very diligent. We were very pleased with their service and value. They took the time to help my wife decide on the type of flooring to get. They provided samples to take home to see what would work best in our kitchen. I would strongly recommend them. We will be buying carpeting in the near future and will be going to Frederick's for their selections.

The service was prompt always. Also clean in workmanship and appearance. Carpet looks good, tight. They were quick, didn't dilly dally and were very professional.

Rick answered all of my questions and came out as soon as he could and right on time. Insurance did not cover the damage so we are doing it ourselves. I would highly recommend him to anyone though. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable.

Mike, the owner, showed up on time for the estimate. What a nice guy! Work was done on time, excellent job, and the guys did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. After tearing up the carpet on the steps, we saw how bad in shape the risers were. Mike worked with me to resolve that, and came up with a solution quickly. It was very easy to get a hold of Mike, by e-mail or phone. I would definitely use his business again.

These guys are great. I am a construction manager and know the value of a good contractor that shows up on time and does quality work. I had done some repairs to a spongy floor in front of my kitchen sink but did not have time to install new flooring. I went to 3 other contractors before I signed up for Angie's list and found Fredericks. All 3 told me I had to pull up the existing floor in order to put down new flooring. I knew that was not true but these other guys would not listen and wanted to charge be another $1500 to pull up the floor. Rick came over and after looking at it for a couple of minutes, told me that we could go right over the existing flooring. Finally, somebody that knew what they were talking about! Mitch, the installer showed up exactly when I was told he would be there and completed the leveling, floor, and stairs in a day. The floor turned out so good I had them come back and do some tile work in the hall. Would definitely work w/ these guys again!
