Company was excellent to work with. Had several issues that were all quickly resolved and I am happy with my floor.

We first visited the showroom to pick out a few samples, and then an estimator came to our house later the next week to measure the areas we wanted new flooring installed. The show room was clean and organized and the sales person was very helpful and friendly. We received an estimate promptly, and after comparing the estimate with another company we had an estimate from we chose Frederick's. They were less expensive, but they seemed to be offering a superior product and so far we were very pleased with our interactions. The install itself took a little longer than originally expected, but the results are amazing. Our installer did a beautiful job, and paid attention to the smallest details. We are extremely pleased with the results and will consider Frederick's for any future flooring needs.

His estimate too high. I have also requested a quote on kitchen cabinets. It's been over 2 months and have not heard back from them. I recently received a call from Frederick?s stating he was sorry about not calling us back about the price estimate. I asked him how did he find out that he never called me back to give me a price. He said he always checks Angie?s List. After our phone call, he was able to come out the same day, to give us a price estimate.

I went out to their showroom and they helped me pick out something that was tough enough for our family. They are popular so you have to wait some but it wasn't that bad. Their workmanship was way above the usual. His craftsman ship on the stairs was really something. That was my husbands comment and he is really tough on craftsmen and he remarks on it all the time.

Mike Lasch, the cleaning specialist, arrived on time as promised. He calculated estimate and described work. He removed some troublesome spots and cleaned all involved areas. Work completed in less than two hours. He even cleaned a small area rug. He moved furniture and blocked it to allow drying. He gave me directions about the drying process. He was personable but professional.

Fredericks has a wonderful selection! Excellent quality too. They were so patient with me as I went back and forth trying to decide what to choose. The cabinets were much nicer than I anticipated. When the counters were measured, the installer (Fred) made a recommendation on a different way to cut the edges around the kitchen sink, and I love the way it turned out! Installation was efficient. I have no complaints whatsoever. I get so many compliments! (Please ignore the walls in the photos - the walls were like that before Fredericks did their work). A++++

Fredericks has a wide variety of flooring options at many price points. The attention to detail was excellent - right down to vinyl base. There was a *very* tight corner that they managed to get vinyl base in...it looks perfect. I can't believe they were able to do what they did on that corner! The flooring took a couple days to complete, but it was absolutely well worth it. It was an excellent experience. I can't say enough about the top notch service Frederick's provides. They were patient, personable, understanding, always friendly and helpful over the months it took me to make a final decision. It was wonderful to be treated as a person and be referred to by my name, versus being treated as just another sale.

The sales staff were friendly and helpful, Mr. Frederick arrived as scheduled to give an estimate and made some useful suggestions. When scheduled, the crew arrived, removed the old glued down carpet, installed the new carpet and took the old pieces away. When the job was completed the basement was cleaned up and looked good. I would use this company again.

I visited the showroom on a Friday. Rick Frederick (owner) came to our home to measure for an estimate on Monday evening and provided the estimate on Tuesday (I was still waiting for another company's estimate from 3 weeks earlier). After the decision was made to go forward with the project, all communications between Rick Frederick was professional, prompt and friendly. I had many questions before the process started and was consistently impressed with the customer service provided. The installers (Ken and Mitch) were prompt, friendly, professional and cleaned up after each of the 4 days of installation. They are experienced professionals whose workmanship reflects the pride in their work. I was extremely pleased with the company, the process and with the beauty of my new floors!

It was truly GREAT!!!!! The owner came and gave me a complete estimate for the work. He also realistically estimated the time needed to do the job. He was able to answer all my questions. The material came in quickly, and the job was scheduled. There was on waiting, no hassle, no problems!!!!! The best part of all was the install person. He was neat, clean, and professional. He really knows how to install a floor. They did it without any seams!!!! It looks even more beautiful than I imagined. Angie's List should be very proud to offer this contractor to it's members.

There customer service was outstanding. They were very good about addressing any issues, very helpful and professional. I would recommend them and use them again. They followed through with anything that they said they would do and they were very punctual. I worked with Nick on the project and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Job 2. Work was done by Nick, who was very good. He did the job in a timely manner, he was also very neat and clean. Rick the owner, who I dealt with was also very helpful and very business like. In all, my experience with Fredericks has been great.

We took our own measurements, went to the store, selected the type of carpet we wanted, and got a very rough estimate of what it would cost. Rick Frederick, the owner, came to our home and measured the bedrooms, hall, landing and stairs. A couple of days later, we got a written estimate. We agreed on the price, and put a deposit on our charge card. About a week later, they came to our home and installed the carpeting. The installers did a first class job. They were meticulous, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. They didn't leave a mark on the wall baseboards. I couldn't have been more pleased.

When the installer, Mitch, removed the old vinyl flooring, he discovered mold in the underlayment that was caused by a leaky toilet. Mitch washed the floor twice with bleach to remove the mold and then installed new underlayment and the new vinyl flooring. He did a fantastic job and went well beyond what most installers would have done, under these circumstances. A few days after the flooring was replaced, a new vanity cabinet, medicine cabinet, countertop, sink, faucet, and plumbing were installed in the bathroom by Fred. Fred did a wonderful job. We also want to acknowledge Nick Frederick's help in selecting and laying out our new cabinets and countertop. Nick did a great job. This is the third project that Frederick's has performed for us in less than a year. We are very well pleased with the service provided by Rick Frederick and his excellent staff, and will be using them again on future projects.

I have used Federicks several times and have had a wonderful experience each time. The crews are professional and the finished product is second to none.

Well. Company has a store with a large selection of flooring products. Samples can be brought home to prepare for the in-home quote. Rick, the proprietor, does the in-home estimating and he helped us avoid product selection errors not apparent when we visited the store.

Although we have no problems with the quality of the vinyl installation, we were very disappointed with the installation process. The installer didn't know that he had to remove ceramic tile, even though this was a line item on our estimate. He didn't know how to remove it nor did he have the tools with him to remove it. When the toilet was removed, a problem with the flange was discovered, which took at most an hour to fix (also increased the bill). The installer arrived around 9:00am, was gone between 11:30-1:30, and left for the day at 8:30pm! And the job wasn't complete. Although we paid an extra $159 for the woodwork, the company forgot to have it ready. It was installed a week later. We paid the maximum for the floor prep, and there are gaps between the floor and woodwork. The woodwork & vinyl base installation and caulking took about two hours. It seems to us that this was a two-person job for the amount of time it took.

Everything was top notch. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable, Rick Frederick measured the kitchen and did the estimate, and Mitch installed the tile. All were very professional and courteous. The install took precautions not to soil any surrounding area and clean up after everything was complete. Frederick's was not the cheapest estimate, but I felt they would do the best install.

I was satisfied. They called a day before to let me know that they would have to move up the installation to the following day because they were running behind. They were prompt, courteous when they did come and did the work in good time.

Selecting the carpeting was made easy because I was allowed to bring home a large number of samples. They came out to give me an estimate two days after I first visited the store. The carpet was installed about a week after the estimate was given. It was a quick and simple process.

They did excellent service. This is the third or fourth time we've used this company.

My floor boards were loose under the carpet on the second floor. I couldn't find anyone to come out, but then I found Fredericks Floor Coverings. They pulled up the carpet, fixed the boards, cleaned everything up, and replaced the carpet. They did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable.

I really got to know the company very well since they were at my house 8+ hours/day for two and a half weeks. This is a family owned business. It was nice to work with the family. Nick Frederick (owner's son) mainly helped in the showroom. They have a great selection, but I found you already have to have some idea of what you want in mind. I was overwhelmed with all the wood choices. Nick could have been more helpful with educating me since he has all that experience. He did stop by once to the job site and make sure things were going OK. He was responsive to my concerns. Ken did the installation. He is very meticulous with his work. I have an infant son and when he needed to nap, Ken would attempt to accommodate us with decreasing the noise. Ken made sure each and every wood plank fit very well with the next. We are pleased with the way the ceramic and wood floors look. No problems.
