Description of Work: Dave gave me quote to remove a tree that had fallen in my back yard. He stopped by on a Sunday and gave me the estimate, and the tree was gone by Thursday. Great service! Even with the muddy conditions, they did a great job of protecting my lawn and driveway. I'll definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I had 10 dead trees in my yard that needed to be removed. I called Dave and he responded and came out to provide the estimate the very next day. He and his crew then came out a couple of days (literally, a couple!) later and completed the job. He was fast, efficient, and friendly. There was absolutely no mess left--you'd never have known they were even there aside from the fact that my yard looks MUCH better now. Great service, great price, great responsiveness. We couldn't be happier with the job that was done by Dave and his team. I would absolutely use again and recommend him to others.

Description of Work: I requested an estimate for having a tree removed. He left a written estimate in my door showing ONLY a total amount to do the job. No other details were listed. There was no information as to what that price included. It was very unprofessional.

Description of Work: We had a tree damaged by high winds that fell into another tree in our back yard. Dave's service removed the felled tree and cut the trunk into manageable pieces.

Description of Work: I called and left a message asking for an estimate on a Tuesday. Dave called back that evening and arranged to visit the next evening to discuss work needed. He was on time, courteous, very knowledgeable and professional, and pointed out what needed to be done. I agreed to his plan. He said work would begin the next week and would call the day before work to begin. He called on Monday that he would do the work on Tuesday. Arrived at 9:30 AM Tuesday and worked constantly using the bucket on his truck to reach dead limbs on old, established trees including 2 huge limbs over my neighbor's roof (3 story house). A helper organized the debris in piles and assisted in handing tools. All told, he removed one tree, trimmed 12 to 14 others, cleaned my double lot of all debris and even cut up the firewood. As if that was not enough, he even wheeled firewood to my neighbor's yard after I asked them if they would like. Looking at all the tree debris on the double lot yard, it made me wonder if I had any trees left. But the tree shapes were great and all of debris shredded and grass raked and drive and sidewalk blown clean by 4:30 PM. Dave and his helper were good people. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Was very satisfied with Dave's Tree Service. Took steps not to damage other areas surrounding the tree. Thought price was fair. Did the work on date promised. Hope I never have to remove another tree, but if I do I will call again. He removed a cork screw willow and stump.

Description of Work: I have used Dave's Tree Service in the past but for some reason this time Dave will not show up. I talked with Dave two months ago about trimming some trees. He said he would be here the following week. I have left multiple messages with no return phone call.

Description of Work: On a miserable Sunday afternoon in November cold, windy, and rainy, a tree in my yard fell onto a neighbor's driveway, totally blocking it. I called Dave's around 3:30 and he was there within 45 minutes, and took half an hour at the most to chop it up, stack the wood, and clean up.

Accepted a competitor's quote because I had the opportunity to observe the competitors work a neighbor's property and I liked what I saw: close attention to safety, professional handling of the tree work and excellent clean up. I have no reason to believe that Dave's Tree Service would not have provided similar, professional service.
