DAVE'S TREE SERVICE

We received a quick response from the company to our call and Brian came at the promised time. He was very friendly and helpful and did an excellent job in spite of it being a cold and windy day. I would use this company again.

Prompt appt. for estimate and work was done in a timely fashion, very professional, yard was left clean and they even cleared the leaves.

He did everything he promised. I would certainly hire him for additional work.

After a consultation visit, they came to cut back the tree a few days later but there was a dumpster in our driveway due to construction on the house. They were unable to do the work that day. We talked on the phone a few times, agreeing that I would call them to do the work as soon as the dumpster was removed. Before that happened, I got a call from Dave saying that he had completed the work. He purchased something that made it possible for him to put his equipment in the front yard without damaging the grass. This was above and beyond what I expected. They also did an excellent job removing the troublesome large branches overhanging the house and they raised the canopy of the tree beautifully.

Dave was very prompt in returning our calls, providing an estimate, and then scheduling his crew. Crew was polite and did everything we asked, plus the extra service of clearing out small bushes and trees (and raking the yard!) There is one tree that they were unable to complete trimming because a neighbor's vehicle was blocking the street where the truck/chair lift needed to go. Dave has promised to return soon (when they are in the area again) to finish this last part of the job. We are satisfied with the work performed.

Job 1: Dave is great at following up, prompt service, nice clean up after job was done. Very responsive to requests. Job 2: This is the second time I've used Dave's services. Great experience again - prompt, detail oriented, great clean up.

I called on a Thursday for an estimate and Dave called back within a few hours. He was able to come out that day to give me an estimate (an estimate that I thought was very fair) and was able to come out Friday, the very next day, to complete the work! I was very satisfied with the customer service, pricing, and work that was done. The whole experience went very smoothly.

David Moore was very responsive and able to provide an estimate for the work the day after I called and complete the work about one week later. He and his co-worker did an excellent job. They had to work within a tight space between our house and the neighbor's in a very high tree that required delicate work with a cherry picker to avoid our fragile tile roof. They completed all the work that we requested, and probably a bit more, and left the yard cleaner than when they found it, even sweeping the driveway and patio of normal leaf and bark debris that was already there.

Dave was professional, effective and very obliging in coordinating with the sidewalk removal contractor. His rates are reasonable. I plan to use him again for future work.

I'm extremely pleased with their conceptualization, planning, estimate and execution of my job! I called them because my old, 80-100' tall pin oak was overarching my house, dropping acorns and the tips of leaved branches and dead twigs all over my roof, grass and driveway; my property looked a mess and upkeep was a never-ending process. During the free estimate visit Brian (Dave's brother & part of the team) listened to my needs, evaluated the situation, explained it well and gave me an estimate that was roughly half the amount I'd paid for similar work by a high-profile company 8 years ago. Dave's team's work much improved my tree without detracting from its appearance!!! While the company's "image" isn't glossy (no uniforms, the crane truck has chipped pain) the men are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, hardworking and go that extra mile to do a fine job. Their work was targeted, just what I wanted and completed in an on-target way. Bravo!

Went very well overall although they broke the wooden Garden Border we had in the backyard. They must have put a ladder down on it.

After a very minor misunderstanding (for which Dave gave a sincere apology) everything went very well and the price was right. Dave discussed the work to be done on his first visit, made an appointment which he kept, and did the work in what seemed an effective and efficient manner.

I contacted Dave's Tree Service last Friday for an estimate. I was shocked when Dave said he could take a look that day and leave a quote. When I arrived home, the quote was there, I called letting him know that I wanted to move forward with the project. Dave made it clear to me that he had several projects but that he would complete my project sometime the following week. We spoke again Monday and he let me know that he was going to try to take care of my project Tuesday, but would call me that morning to let me know for sure. He called to say that he would make every effort to complete the job that day, but it might have to wait until Wednesday. Later that same day, Dave called to let me know that the project was done and that I could mail him a check. When I arrived home, everything was neat and tidy and I was very impressed with his work. I would definitely use Dave again, it was a great experience.

It went very well. They worked really hard all day long, they did not even take a lunch break. They cleaned the yard up very well after the work was done.

Mike arrived on time and was very courteous. He walked around and surveyed the property and work to be performed. He pointed out some limbs that I hadnt noticed before as having holes and potentially hollowed out areas in them. When asked if I needed to be around for the work, he said that I did not need to, although he never minds having the homeowner around and pointing out anything they need trimmed but that may have been missed in the initial assessment (with no change to the estimate given it was within reason). I ended up going with another company based on the other companys more in-depth knowledge of trees / diseases / etc and the specific situation I was dealing with.

We called Dave's Tree Service based on reports found on Angie's List. Dave called back the very next day and came to look at our tree the following day. Initially, there was some confusion because Dave thought we wanted him to take the tree down. Due to its size and proximity to the house, he would not have been able to do that for us. However, he was quite forthright about it and happily recommended another company who might be able to help us. After we established that we only wanted several dead limbs cut down, we were in business. Dave scheduled the work for within the next week, pending combining a couple jobs on our side of town. We were told he would call the day before to let us know he would be coming. He did not call, but did show up within the allotted time frame. The work was done quickly. Dave and his partner did a nice job cleaning up the debris. We had asked to keep the wood from the limbs they removed and Dave stacked that nicely in our backyard.

They were prompt, courteous, and efficient!

Dave was great and I would not hesitate to work with him again. He came out for an estimate the same day I called him, and performed the work a week later. My lot is very wooded and inaccessible in places to equipment, but Dave got the job done. The work performed was exactly as requested, and he even went above and beyond by removing some dead limbs that initially were concealed by the limbs of another tree. The clean up was such that there was no evidence he ever was there. He even came back to clean up oil stains that were left in the driveway by his truck. I have no complaints.

I was satisfied with the service and he had a great price that I couldn't pass up. He was also prompt and professional.

We contracted Dave's Tree Service to remove the tree and bushes because we are pouring a driveway where they existed. Dave's was not the lowest bidder on the job, but he assured me that he would grind up the stumps extremely well so that the concrete workers would not have to spend time grinding stumps. Dave told me the day and time he would be at my home. He called me the night before to remind me of the time and also to let me know that his stump remover was broken. He assured me that he would definitely take care of removing my stumps prior to the day the concrete was to be poured. Dave showed up on time and cut down our tree and shrubs. I hadn't heard from him in a week and a half and our stumps were still in the ground. I called Dave and he assured me that his stump remover was almost fixed. As soon as the stump remover was fixed, he came to our house and removed the stumps; he included an additional stump removal free of charge. Dave was responsible and professional.

Excellent. Very careful & conscientious.

If I could give them a triple A rating I would. I had expected my bill to be in the thousands of dollars, surprise. Also everything went smoothly. They are a very professional team. I will use them again and tell others of their good work, and it is a joy to have some sun in my yard.

Dave did a tremendous job removing these stumps. Was very professional, on time, and flexible with what I wanted done. Would definitely use again!
