Description of Work: Contacted Dave's Tree Service regarding trees and bushes growing out of control around my house. Dave shaped one tall tree by removing all of the over growing branches and trimming the tree up to look nice and manicured. Dave also removed a total of 5 bushes in the front of my house. Dave grounded all the stumphs of the bushes. Dave also cleaned up my back yard by removing several overgrown bushes, small trees and branches that were growing through the fence. Dave hauled away all the debris and cleaned up.

Description of Work: Dave cut down a crab apple tree that was leaning on my fence and most of the tree was over the fence in my neighbor's yard; he also ground the stump and pruned/ removed dead brances off of 2 large trees.

Description of Work: Once he cut down a huge Curly willow tree that was dead and dangerous, and didn't leave a speck of mess. Last spring he trimmed trees so I could get more sun for my garden.

Description of Work: I used Dave's Tree Service to remove a dead tree down to the stump. Then they removed the stump of a tiny apple tree.

Description of Work: Our back yard neighbor's rotted tree had three big trunks. One fell in his yard about six years ago. I worried one of the other trunks would fall on our house, but our neighbor refused to remove the tree, or even to let my husband and I pay to have it removed. Sure enough, in the middle of the night, one of the trunks did fall--it broke a huge limb off a large oak in our back yard, which slowed its fall as it took out gutters, siding and damaged windows on the side of our house. It also smushed our air conditioning unit. We hired another tree service (not Dave) to remove the fallen trunk, and repair our oak. Our neighbor told me only. "have your insurance company speak to my insurance company." I found out that the city could site this man, and force him to remove the third trunk. Sure enough, three weeks later Dave came to the door. The remaining trunk was dangerously close to an elecrical box, and could fall in such a way it would finish off our oak---bring down our oak and make a direct hit on our house. Dave wanted to use a bucket boom on a truck to control removal. He needed permission to back his truck through our yard to gain access to the tree--which we granted happily. Then he changed his approach and backed his truck through the neighbor's yard. As I write this, he is finishing up with grinding the stump. Everything went very smoothly. It was very interesting to watch the many-hours of this step by step VERY CAREFUL procedure. Not a twig was damaged on our oak, and the process proceeded smoothly with ropes, pulleys, and the chain saw.

Description of Work: We had a large pine tree including the stump removed. The guys noticed and removed a stump from another bush that was close to the pine tree stump that I had been unable to remove myself. That was a nice surprise!

Description of Work: We had a 48 year old tree fall over due to the recent storm. It completely blocked the entire front of my house. I called Dave and he was able to come over right away, even though he lives more than 20 miles from me. He was here within 2 hours of the storm.

Description of Work: Dave trimmed two big trees for us, taking out the dead branches and ensuring that the branches no longer come over our roof.
