DAVE'S TREE SERVICE

They arrived as scheduled and explained to me exactly how they would be getting the branches removed without ever touching the house during the process. He even let me knkow that my neighbor had asked to have a tree removed after I had let him know about their company so he gave me $50 off my total bill for getting him the additional business. They removed the branches without incedent and did a great job cleaning up as well. They cut up the larger pieces into firerwood logs for me as I had requested. I would definitely use them again and refer them to others as well.

We lost two pines tress as a result of Sandy. I removed the lumber but left the stumps for later. My wife called to see when he could remove the tree stumps from our front yard and how much he would change. He was working on another job down the street and said he would take care of it that day and give an estimate of $75 to $150 since our house was on his way. He was just finishing up when I got home from work. He left a clean work space and had only minimally disturbed my lawn.

They worked very efficiently & cleaned up afterwards. I would use them in the future.

After they came out for the quote, they were able to take care of the job almost right away. They very easy to deal with and made it a point to plan according to what was easiest for us. They worked very fast and did an excellent job with the cleanup.

Super storm Sandy uprooted one of our 70 ft pine trees in our front yard (across power lines) and broke off a huge part of a maple tree in our back yard. The pine tree was propped up on top of another tree in our front yard. We called Dave the day after the storm and he had us send him on pictures on our phone. He noticed the power line and told us to have it removed and he would come out. It took a day for the power company to disconnect the power line and Dave came our promptly the next day. We were very thankful that Dave was able to come since there were so many trees down in the area. Dave skillfully cut the pine tree down in pieces and made it look easy. He also cut up huge part of the maple tree in the back yard. Dave's crew took away some of the wood, but said they'd be back in a week to get the rest because they had so many other trees to take down in the area. We were fine with that and understood that many other people needed his services after the storm. Dave did come back and remove the remaining wood. We were extremely satisfied with Dave's work and his promptness. The only issue we had was the cost was much more than our homeowners insurance would allow. I don't know if any other tree service could have done it cheaper.

The job was perfect. My wife and I are satisfied.

The overall experience was very positive. Dave came to the house, figured out the situation, and explained that it was not necessary to incur the cost of a tree service. We will use this company again when it is necessary to incur a cost.

They showed up on time on the appointed day and did an excellent job including a complete clean-up of the back yard. I would call Dave for any other tree trimming that would need to be done.

Their price was more than fair. They were able to get here and to work the next day. They were really on top of the situation from start to finish. They even asked our neighbor if they could use their driveway to access the branches better with the chipper for removal. They were excellent. The evergreen was rather large, over 100 feet tall, about 2-3 times taller than our house.

Two tall pine trees fell on my detached garage during Superstorm Sandy. I needed help quickly as the garage was knocked off one corner of its foundation. My house would have been hit by the taller tree if they weren't removed before, and if, the garage was smashed. I had used Dave's Tree Service in 2007 and was happy with their work so called them for help. I described the situation and an estimator came to my home within 24 hours of my initial call. The price, $950.00, seemed fair considering the labor involved and I spoke to Dave directly to commit to the work. The trees were removed the next day and the crew hauled away the wood. My driveway was swept of all debris. This significant, unexpected expense was especially stressful considering the danger of my house being hit by the trees. I appreciate that Dave did not require a deposit from me before doing the work. An invoice was left in my mailbox. Dave called me a week later to check on his work. Thank you, Dave's Tree Service!

When I phoned Dave's Tree Service I received a call back and had an estimate within 24 hours. They came out while I was at work and removed the tree along with all the debree while I was at work. The tree was in a tight spot between a chain link and wood fence, over a pool and near a garage in the back of a small yard. Dave did an excellent job of removing the tree in the small area he had to work in! I will definitely use his services in the future.

Dave came out a couple of days after one of our neighbors called him. (I had used his services a few years ago and recommended the company to this neighbor.) He examined our trees and our other neighbor's trees at that time, gave us each an estimate, and reduced each estimate by $100 because we agreed to have the work done at the same time. Dave promised to do the job before the end of October, and about a week later, he called and let me know he would be out that coming Saturday to start the job. However, because he was doing the three jobs, he said he would probably not finish that day and would return on Sunday afternoon. That is exactly what transpired. His crew did a very careful job for all three of us, and these were old, very tall trees. I would hire this company again.

Dave was a great person to work with. He came on the set day about the time he planned, and did the work professionally. The large parts of the tree trunk he leaves behind and people do come to pick up wood for firewood from tree lawns. All of it was gone in a week. This fall I working the area to seed the lawn where the stump was located, and I found a section of stump just at the surface of the ground and dug around it. It was a sizable root piece. I called Dave's back and left a message, and within a couple of days he came by and ground up that left over part. He had already been paid several months ago and yet he was extremely responsive to take care of this. It speaks highly of him, and I would recommend his business to anyone needing tree service.

Dave and his worker showed up immediately after the rain storm subsided and started promptly on the day he had committed to. The oak in the back yard had a lot of dead wood throughout, which Dave removed all. Dave found a large dead branch that spanned over the neighbor's yard and first showed pictures of the dead limb and fractures to both my spouse and neighbor before taking it down to make sure everyone was ok with it. This is the third time I have used Dave's tree service over a 12 year period and he has been consistently respectful of the yard, our neighbors, and mindful of costs. He is honest and fair person and I recommend him on a regular basis.

The whole process was very, very smooth. I called Dave and he responded the same day with a quote. The price of $400 was great, and he completed the job four days later, which was earlier than expected. If I need more tree service, I will call Dave's Tree Service.

Dave and his crew were very professional beginning with the estimate and continuing through completion of the job. I had a lot of questions and he was very patient in answering them and laying out the various options that I had. Regarding one tree in particular there was a question whether it was worth trimming or cutting it down since its health was questionnable. The cost would have been about the same, but he wanted to make sure that I would not be upset if they trimmed it now and we would end up cutting it down in a year or two. We decided to save the tree for now knowing that we might have additional cost later. However, we were very impressed that Dave cared enough to advise us and let us make an informed decision. The trim jobs were done carefully and the trees looked very nice when they were done. This is the work of a true professional. All work was done as we had agreed and on time. They cleaned up after themselves and left the yard looking great. This was the second time I used Dave's services and would definitely use them again. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted four different tree service providers to have the trees on our property cleaned up or trimmed. Dave's was the second to get back to me, and he was out inspecting the job within two days. He looked over the work to be done and he offered a very fair price. After I received all of the offers, Dave's and another tree service came in around the same price. I ended up going with Dave's due to his promptness and his willingness to do a few extra little tree tasks on our property. We made plans for Dave to come out to our house the following Monday. We spoke on Sunday to confirm the appointment and I told Dave that I was ill and would not be going to work the next day. This was good for him since he wanted me to be around and help with my opinion when he shaped one specific tree close to the house. The next day I slept in and awoke to what I thought were the sounds of a chainsaw. When I went to look out of our window, I did not see Dave working. I went downstairs and looked on my cell phone and there was a text message from Dave, saying that he could not make it out today because his helper called in sick and he didn't want to call and possibly wake me, since he knew I was home sick. Wow... what a nice thing to do. Professional and kind... not found nearly as often as we all would like, with service contractors these days. Dave called on Wednesday and said that he had time and would start the job and hold off on the big trim/shape until I came home from work. When I did get home, Dave and his man had already trimmed the six locust trees which looked better than I expected. I helped him with the big trim and then he finished the other smaller jobs on the property. They cleaned up so well, that when my wife arrived home she didn't even think that they had started the job yet. Our home looks great now that all of trees are shaped, trimmed, cleaned up and healthy. Dave's Tree Service is incredible. Dave is dependable, professional, fair, creative, attentive and mostly a genuinely nice guy. If you need any type of tree service I would highly recommend Dave's. You will not be sorry.

The service went very well. Company's response was very fast, and they did a very good and clean job. The price was reasonable for the work done. That is all you can ask for!

in approaching Dave arrived for his "estimate appointment" on time and did a thorough job in evaluating my tree's condition and the options I had available to me (trim back vs. total removal). He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional in every sense of the word.I choose to have my tree taken down and the stump removed. Dave was actually able to come out a week or so earlier than we had discussed. He and his crew did a great job in taking the tree down, removing the stump, and cleaning up afterwards. Even though he brought his truck and equipment on my front lawn, he was careful not to do any lawn damage.Dave left the cut pieces of tree on my front lawn for folks to help themselves to firewood, with the promise of coming back in "a day or two" to pick up what was left. Without prompting, Dave arrived 2 work days later to collect the last few large pieces of tree trunk.I highly recommend "Dave's Tree Service" as a professional, courteous, and skilled tree removal service. They came out promptly and cleaned up quiet well afterwards. The price was good. I have used them before.

I had a good amount of tree brush and leavings from when I had to trim the trees myself (I had new cable being installed, and there were a lot of branches in the way). This wasn't a huge job, but Dave made time to come out and took care of it quickly and efficiently. They even took down a couple of branches that he thought might end up getting in the way of my wiring soon. Overall this was a great experience, and I will definitely use them again!

I contacted Dave last November for an estimate for trimming several back yard trees. A couple large dead branches had fallen and i was concerned more would eventually fall. I decided to wait until spring as the holidays were approaching. I called Dave again the week of the Memorial Day holiday and he and his crew were out that same Sunday. He was able to use a crane to remove one of the large limbs but didn't have enough room to maneuver it further into the yard. They had to hand-climb the other two trees and finish the job that way. They did a very nice job. All three were very professional and easy to talk to. They removed all unwanted debris and even cut up the large limbs into manageable sections for me to burn in campfires. I have 2 more trees that will need attention and will not hesitate to call them again.

Dave and his crew cut down about 15 trees for us, many of which were very large. I asked to include several other trees that we didn't discuss during the estimate and he was very generous with me in regards to his fees. He came back the next day to grind down all of the stumps too. Quality job.
