DAVE'S TREE SERVICE

Performed the service as described, for the price quoted, within a week of the initial estimate (the agreed upon time frame). Followed through with promise to notify us the night before they'd arrive. Very polite and responsive. Provided updates by text which was convenient. Everything was left neat and tidy. Would use them again for pruning and/or tree removal services in a heartbeat!

This is the second time I have used this excellent service. Dave's brother Brian came out to give me the estimate on 9/2. He and his crew arrived Saturday afternoon and spent about 3 hours removing 2 large dead trees (Cleveland Hts. housing violations) as well as several smaller trees and bushes that had become overgrown and a nuisance to me and my neighbor. They worked very efficiently and did a great job of cleaning up. I highly recommend using Dave's Tree Service.

I was extremely impressed with this company. I requested that they provide me with a quote for removing a dead tree and stump grinding. I wrote them late in the day and they responded nearly immediately stating that they were on the way to provide an estimate. The price was fair and I asked that they proceed with job. Again, they came out quickly and the job was done. They were amazingly efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I'll use them again and it's nice to have a provider that acts so quickly and does a quality job.

Very punctual and very professional. Crew was quick and efficient. When I originally contacted Dave he quickly came to house and accessed the tree and gave an estimate of the work that I thought was fair for the amount of work involved.

Great - responsive, fair priced. Did the job they said they would and more. Quick. They did such a great job that our neighbor had them cut down 6 of his rather large pine trees that were beyond saving after they were done with our property. I also referred them to my father, and I have given their names to a few people that live in Cuyahoga county at my work already today. We will call them every year instead of doing it ourselves from now on. The owner and crew were great to work with. 120% satisfied.

Dave, the owner, came to my house about 7:30 in the evening to give me an estimate. When I tried to talk to him about the tree that I needed to have either trimmed or removed, he was very rude. When I tried to talk to him about the areas of the tree that need to be trimmed, he said he didn't do what I needed and to call someone else. He practically ran to his truck and left. He didn't give me a chance to show him a large dead branch in my back yard that needs to be removed, a large old bush that needs to be cut down and the stump ground, nor tell him that my neighbor was also asking for an estimate to remove two trees from her yard. I sent him an email to tell him all this after he left. He called me back as soon as he received it, admitting that he had not read the whole thing, and started yelling at me. I wish I could say that I had the great experience that others have described, but this man was rude, impatient and unprofessional.

Dave was very responsive - showed up on time - did a quality job - stopped back to verify job was complete - cost was very fair. We definitely would use again.

The work crew arrived on time and removed a large maple tree from our front yard. Our street is busy but they were able to remove the tree without impeding traffic. As agreed upon, they delivered the wood chips to our church. The work was completed in one day. They also ground the stump. They did a great job cleaning up afterward.

Great. Dave is a good person. Very honest and only doing work that is needed. I will use them again for sure.

Overall it went well. Dave's Tree Service was extremely responsive and was able to get the job done the same week I called. Unfortunately one of the stumps was missed on the initial visit but once notified, Dave's Tree Service made it a priority to take care of the fifth and even came out over the weekend to finish the job.

I initially contacted Dave's tree service about 7/16/2015 and Dave responded immediately. He came out for an estimate right away and was very pleasant. By the time I got to the door, he had already looked at the job and determined my estimate. I asked him how much he would charge to add on the ornamental tree removal and he said he would do it of no additional charge. That made up my mind--he got the job. He subsequently returned and completed the job on 7/20/2015. He and his crew came, went right to work and completed the job much faster than I expected. They cleaned up after themselves and left my property clean. I am very satisfied with this work. There was no fooling around. Dave responded quickly and got the job done to my satisfaction quickly. It is no wonder that he has received service awards.

They arrived on time and were very professional. He needed only one additional man for the job and while Dave cut the branches off the trees other man fed the branches into the shredder. They cleaned up the yard and driveway and were finished quickly. I was pleased with his service and would highly recommend him. He also gave me the Angie's List senior discount.

Fantastic! These guys are wonderful. They were very prompt to get out and give us an estimate even through they're very busy and do the estimate and the work themselves. They' were the best quote around. After I scheduled to have the work done, they said it would most likely be about 2-3 weeks until they could get out here. The next night they called and said they had a job in a nearby city and said they could be here the next day! They came and made our yard light up with bright pockets of sunshine! Our roof now gets down light which will hopefully help with the moss growth, we have more light on many areas of the yard which will help our grass and plants grow, and most importantly the trees are trimmed back so they're not over and against the house posing a danger to us and our home. When they were done, you couldn't even tell they were here because the cleanup was so great. One thing though, is that the branches are so large and heavy that when they fell onto the lawn and were dragged around the house to be ground down, it trampled and killed a lot of grass, making areas pure mud. I guess that should have been expected though. It'll grow back. Highly recommend these guys. They're nice and honest and good at their job!

My yard looks great and it seems roomier with all the tree branches that were hanging down trimmed. He was easy to work with, professional and did a great job.

Brian showed up on time with a worker and his son. I arrived from work about an hour after they started and noticed that they had already accomplished a lot. Dave arrived shortly afterwards. One of the trees was near my neighbor's driveway and required that they enter it in order to have better access to the tree. They took extra care to place sections of wood under each tire in order to distribute the truck's weight on the asphalt driveway. The third man on the crew was careful to avoid dropping limbs on the shrubs below. I found Dave to be sincere and knowledgeable as he answered my questions about the condition of the trees and whether or not either should be completely removed. Their price was reasonable considering the size of the trees and their proximity to the house. He and Brian were polite and they completed the job in a timely and professional manner.

Dave was prompt to return my call and to come out and give me a quote. He even called back in a few days to check up on things and offered to beat my lowest quote if he could do the job right away. I took him up on his offer and work was completed that same day. I was very satisfied with the whole process and glad to get it done right away.

They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and a wonderful service. I have used them before, I will use them again. I appreciate the work they have done for us.

Crew worked efficiently and got the job done. They cleaned up did their best not to damage yard even though it was swampy and they had to get the stump grinder to the middle of the yard.

I was very pleased. They did more than I expected and cleaned up beautifully afterward.

I called and left a voice message, Dave called me back that day, told me he would leave an estimate in my mail box by the end of the day- he did. I called after reviewing the fair estimate and he explained he would be able to complete the job on Wednesday. He told me he would call before arriving -- he did. His team arrived and immediately started working. The original estimate did not include an entire tree that needed to be removed . We negotiated on the price and his team went to work and removed the tree. Very pleasant team, cleaned the yard really well and did a very good job.

We had to wait a little while for service, but they made the wait worth it. We only wanted three limbs removed but the company removed more to shape up the tree. We were surprised by the extra work they did. The limb hanging over our house was removed. We were concerned it would come crashing down on the house during a storm. We also wanted two limbs that were hanging over our neighbor's garage removed as well. Our tree looks great and so does our yard. Dave's Tree service cleaned up all the brush,and saw dust. My neighbor wanted the wood and they gladly were kind enough to throw the wood over the fence for him. They did an excellent job and we are pleased. Dave's Tree service honored their estimate which made us happy.

Dave came out the same day I called to schedule an appointment. Crew left a clean work space and worked efficiently to complete the work.

Everything went perfectly. We were completely satisfied.

Left message for Dave around 11 am. The tree was down by 5 pm the SAME DAY! I wanted the wood, and all the cuttings were stacked neatly for me. Chips from the stump were blown out of the grass and all was cleaned up before they left. I could not have asked for better, more efficient service and I would gladly hire this firm again.

The work was done in less than 30 minutes on June 1, 2015; they did everything they said they would do.
