DAVE'S TREE SERVICE

Showed up ahead of schedule which was a pleasant surprise. I needed 3 trees trimmed and thinned that were over my roof, fence and neighbors deck. No problem. Work was completed as quoted and then some. Great job of clean-up. I will use Dave's Tree Service again in the future.

After another company treated me rudely and turned down our service request, Dave's came through and removed the large, dead tree in our backyard. I would definitely hire them again.

Excellent service from every employee. In addition, they CLEANED UP. I have had relatively few contractors ever clean up the mess they make. A++

Dave arrived in about two hours. He gave a very reasonable price for the needed work. I also asked him to consider removing some other medium sized trees that had self sprouted over the years. Dave and his crew set to work immediately. They cleared the fallen limbs. They also removed the three other trees. Dave and his crew left the yard clean and orderly. What looked like a major job and headache was totally cleared up and cleaned up by Dave. I would definitely recommend Dave's Tree Service to everyone.

Great. Estimate was left at my home, I called and left message to ok the work. One day after work the following week, I came home to find the trees removed and a message stating the stumps would need to removed later. He even removed an additional tree that I wasn't aware that it was on my property, but very dead. Dave's brother who also has a tree service came out once the weather dried and he did a great job removing the stumps. Since I was home, he walked me thru the yard and showed me the final handy work. I even referred both to a co-worker and they've been called for an estimate.

I called several tree service companies for an estimate to remove one tree and trim another. Dave returned my call the same evening to discuss the details of the job. Dave stopped by the next day, while I was at work, to look over the job and left an estimate in my mailbox. The estimate outlined the work to be performed and the cost. Dave’s price was very reasonable compared to the other estimates I solicited. I chose Dave based on his responsiveness, on our dialog discussing the details of the job, on price and on his A rating on Angie’s list. When it came time to perform the work at my home, Dave gave me a call the day before to confirm I’d be available. Dave’s crew arrived and worked very carefully removing a tree, located in the front of the house, that had gotten much too big for its proximity to the house and had grown well into the power & cable lines coming into my house. I had chosen not to have them grind the stump, so they cut the trunk as close to the ground as possible. They removed all the branches and thoroughly cleaned-up the area. Other than a little saw dust around the stump, you’d never have known there was a tree in that spot less than an hour before. Dave’s crew moved to the back of the house to trim an old (and very tall) maple tree that sits beside my Trex composite deck and in close proximity to my neighbor’s fence/yard. I was very concerned about a branch falling and damaging my neighbor’s property or my deck. Dave’s crew carefully trimmed the tree, controlling branch fall close to the tree, in an open area of my yard or the bucket operator brought them down in the bucket. After trimming, the crew removed all of the branches and thoroughly cleaned the area. I felt that Dave’s crew were working on my house with the same attention to detail that they would if they were working on their own home. I was very impressed with the skill, expertise and precision in which they performed their work. Dave’s Tree Service deserves an A+ for the work they performed at my home.

They were really reasonable and professional. They called me back quickly and came right away. I was very pleased with their work and would use them again.

I called Dave's Tree Service for a quote and they immediately called me back. Within a few days, they visited my property and I had a written quote. They were very easy to work with and scheduled us for the same week. No complaints! They performed the work as agreed to and did a nice job cleaning up.

Left a voicemail with Dave about removing 2 well rooted burning bush stumps. Called me back within 5 minutes. Said he had someone in the area to check it out. Shane arrived within 45 minutes of my 1st call and made quick work of the 2 stumps (which were in a raised bed on the side of my house). Saved me many hours of back breaking work. Great job. Thanks.

Dave was prompt in providing very fair quote and punctual in showing up on day of job even though it was raining. Trees were close to fence and one had remenants of old chain link fence grown into trunk. He did an awesome job despite the confines of electrical wires and fence. Removed old wood and did nice clean up.

Dave showed up with an extraordinarily perfectionist tree "climber." The two of them did their work in five hours. When they left, the dead tree was gone and the other two were "light" and healthy. Leaves and small branches were blown off the lawn and driveway, as if they hadn't even been there. Really nice job. If I could give a score of B++, I would. The only negative was Dave's inconsistent communication about confirming the appointment.

I didn't like losing the trees, but they were mostly dead. I trusted the diagnosis and description of work to be performed as it agreed with another one I had from a different tree company. The work was performed promptly and professionally. Thank you!

I'd give them a B rating because they didn't get everything but they got most of it. They did work for both of my neighbors at a reasonable price. I wasn't upset with what I paid. They left some of the trunks. I had to call them numerous times before they called me back. They were on time. They left the place a mess. There were woodchips everywhere.

Not responsive. They never returned any voicemail when I inquired about getting an estimate for work.

I called Dave's Tree Service and Brian came out when he said he would to give an estimate to have 2 large trees taken down. He was very knowledgeable about all the types of trees that we had on our property. He explained that 2 of the trees were dying due to ash borer disease. He recommended that they come down. We decided to have one stump ground up and the other cut to ground level. We also needed him to prune 3 other smaller ornamental trees on our property. Due to limited access to the trees, we had to get permission for their trucks to park in our neighbor's driveway before scheduling the service. We got the ok and they arrived the next day to start the work. It took most of the day to finish the job and everything was cleaned up perfectly, all the chips were taken away, sawdust blown away, and all the branches were cut up in the chipper. They were efficient and very professional. Brian made sure everything looked great before he left and made sure I agreed before he left. He promised that if there was anything wrong, I should call and tell him.

They were fast, professional, and clean up was complete. I will use them again in the future.

Dave came and gave an estimate within a couple of days of my first call. He came the next week and took the tree down. Work was done as described, everything cleaned up and left in good. shape. Dave was very easy to talk to and nice to work with. My next door neighbor asked him about some work when he was in my yard doing the estimate. He trimmed large trees for them the same day he took my tree down and she was pleased to with his work as well.

They did a great job. I called a few days earlier for an estimate. They provided the estimate and thanks to an opening in their schedule they were able to render services the same day. They were quick and courteous and provided advice on other trees on our property. I would highly recommend their services.

Brian and his team were fantastic. Did a great job. Trees look great. Cleaned up better than how he found it- I got a little fall cleanup added in!. They were significantly less expensive than other tree service I called. Would absolutely recommend them.

Brian came out, gave us an estimate, and when we called him back to schedule he was ready to go the next day. We were worried not being able to be home when the work was done, but besides for the tree and bushes being gone, we wouldn't have known he was there. Cleaned up, no limbs. No pieces of wood... Nothing! He did a great job!

It went well. Dave came out and gave an estimate. Was told that due to the lines through the trees they would have to climb the tree to remove it. He actually was able to cut the trees earlier then planned with was fine. He called me and we were able to discuss which trees needed to come down for sure and which trees to trim. He wasn't there when I got home but the work was done to my satisfaction and Dave just had me mail the check to him. No Complaints.

Dave and his crew were just great. They arrived on time, worked quickly & carefully, and his crew removed all debris promptly.

Dave stopped by for an estimate after I called him the day before. He was very courteous and very knowledgable about his business. I was only looking to get one tree trimmed in the front but he spoke to me about trimming all the trees. I knew I couldn't afford the pleasure of all the trees being trimmed up by a pro; however, his price for all trees was better than 2 companies for the one tree! On top of that, he told me he could come back in a few hours and complete the job. Sold! Dave and Brian were very nice and came out a bit later. They showed up with a huge chipper shredder that really took care of the job. Afterword, they cleaned up everything including leaf blew my mulch beds. Fantastic job! Awesome price! I definitely recommend this company and will call them in the future. Thank you.

Called us back soon after initial contact to give a quote, he was by far the most affordable of the three quotes we received. Initially he planned to come out the next day, however that did not work out. Eventually about a weekish afterward we found another day and he came over with a crew of about 4 guys. They removed all the trees we had originally agreed on as well as one additional one we found since the initial estimate (with an agreed upon additional dollar amount); all stumps ground at time of removal. Clean up same day, all equipment off our yard and all sticks picked up. Would definitely hire again if we decide we want to take ou the rest of the trees. One small piece of feedback: they said they would come over at 10:00am but did not arrive until about 10:45, I did not receive a call ahead of time, but it would have been nice to know they were going to be a little late. However, I had cleared my day to be around for while they were working so it worked out well.

He started on the work right after the estimate. Good and quick work. Too bad he got stung by some bees on the last stump. He even ended up doing some work for my neighbor right after mine.
