Dave's Service was very prompt with their quote. and their price was very reasonable. What I appreciated the most was their -immediate- response whenever I contacted them. I mean right away! They were on site exactly when they said they'd be there and worked continuously to get the big job wrapped up.

The tree looks great, and it's not hanging over my house anymore.

Fast, efficient and professional. They were careful not to disturb our lawn and landscaping and cleaned up before they left. Dave and his team were great to work with.

The whole process of working with Dave's Tree Service was excellent from the first phone call to the completion of the work. I believe I spoke with the owner initially who actually answered his phone. Follow-up happened a couple of days later on Saturday. They had already been to the property and could give me an estimate immediately. I thought it was reasonable and said I'd call on Monday which I did. I left a message and my call was returned promptly. I was told that due to another job in the area that they could do our job the same day which they did. I was informed the job was larger than estimated and thought, "Ok, here we go with a revised cost", but the final cost was the same as the estimate. Work and clean-up were completed very quickly and well, even the street was cleaned of debris. I would have no hesitation in hiring Dave's Tree Service again and would recommend them very highly. I had Dave come and do cut down a tree that was in a difficult to reach area behind my home. Everyone else said that they couldn't reach the tree without taking off my awning and removing my fence at my own expense. Dave came in and not only removed the tree (which was almost 40 ft high!) he did it without removing my fence or awnings. They even removed the stump and hauled away the clippings! While cutting down the tree, a branch dented my downspout, but Dave and his brother Brian came out and fixed it free of charge. I would definitely hire again!

Excellent job. I explained what I wanted and the crew took it from there. They too out a lot of branches and limbs without leaving the trees looking like they had been scalped. After the pruning the trees looked very semetrical. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up when they were done. They also gave me the best price out of three different estimates.

They called to let us know when they would arrive. They asked permission before cutting limbs of a lilac bush which blocked the path to the back yard and before the drove their truck onto the grass.They worked with no breaks until the job was done. They cleaned up all twigs and wood chips. A very professional job. I would recommend them to anybody.

Excellent. He gave the best price and did a thorough job. He had an emergency due to high winds so he did not show up on time and didn't call early. He eventually did call, still came out and did the job. He will be doing more work for us this spring.

They arrived in the morning, started immediately, were polite and cleaned up my whole yard and the neighboring lot in about 2 1/2 hours. I am Very pleased with everything!

Wonderful! Great pricing and quickly came to give quote. Time frame to come remove tree and grind stump was good.Would use them again but we do not have more trees in our yard! Would highly recommend!

Very well, I called them in the morning and in the afternoon they called back and asked a few questions about size and age of tree. They came out check everything out and give me a very reasonable price. They were very professional and cleaned up as they were going. They even removed the stomp in such a way you can't even tell that there was a tree there. My neighbor even complimented how well they cleaned up. Would highly recommend them.

They were excellent! I would definitely hire them again. They were by far the most reasonable quote we received for the work. I was pleased that they cleaned up the yard well and removed all the traces of their work. They also removed a few odd branches from bushes that I requested. The stump grinder machine came later the same day and took care of the stumps. The workers were professional and clean. We ended up giving them $200 extra because we felt they did so much work, and did such a good job.

Dave took down two trees and ground down the stumps. He also cut the cherry tree into a size perfect for using in a wood burner. Top notch work.

The tree was cut down using a truck with a boom. When I drove my car on the drive later that day, I saw there was a crack in the (cement) drive, which had not been there before. The truck had been on my drive which was used to cut the higher branches. I discussed this with Brian, and he said it was the fault of the cement (the drive is 3 years old). After discussions with cement contractors, and the city building inspector, I concluded that the fault lay with the truck. I contacted cement contractors for estimates on the damage to the drive which ranged from $1000 - $1500. I left a message for Brian and said that I would like $1000 for the repair; that I was trying to be fair to him by using the lowest estimate. Brian offered to have a buddy seal the drive for me. Brian did come back to grind all the stumps but didn't do a thorough job of cleaning up the chips that sprayed for several feet around the perimeter. We agreed that I wouldn't pay him the $200 for grinding the stump, due to the damage of the driveway. I left a message for Brian that since no one had shown up to apply the sealant, I hired someone else, and that he owed me $800 for the damage to the driveway. Brian left me a message that sounded like he misinterpreted what I was saying, thinking that I was saying it cost me $800 to have the driveway sealed. I finally spoke to Dave and wanted to explain what I thought was a misunderstanding on Brian's part. Dave ranted on and on, angrily accusing me of being dishonest and trying to take advantage of him. I tried several times to interrupt Dave to explain, but he continued to talk over me. Finally after over 10 minutes, I realized that I had to talk over him in order to get in what I had to say. I explained that the $800 was for the damage to the driveway ($1000 less $200 for the stump removal). At last Dave settled down once he understood what I was saying. He wanted to come out to look at the driveway himself, which I said was understandable. I have not heard back from him, and I have to admit I'm reluctant to call him because of how uncomfortable I felt during our previous conversation.

Tree was in a very tough spot but was removed quickly, efficiently and with no problems. I cannot recommend this company enough. They cleaned up so well too. Getting this dead tree removed before winter is a huge stressor removed from my life! Great communication and quick to quote.

Went well. Cleaned up afterward. No problems. Slightly more expensive than other quotes but I had used them before and was happy with their work.

Dave stopped to give me a bid the same day I called and his brother, Brian called to follow-up and schedule a few days later. Great clean-up after the job (always a good indicator of a pro). They even pointed out that a neighbor's tree posed a potential threat to my property.
