My lasting impression is that Cody takes pride in what he does. My floors were long overdue for some TLC after an extended time of neglect. Got a fair quote, set a project start date, Cody's crew put in the hard work and the end result is a very happy customer. The decision to stain my golden oak floors dark (Jacobean) was mine; but the confidence knowing Cody was going to do an excellent job was on him. It can be nerve wrecking when you are doing home projects from selecting the contractor to the final details of color selection; it is refreshing when your contractor can take the burden of the end result off your shoulder. I would highly recommend them for your hardwood floors needs and encourage you to have the confidence you will love your floors.

I have lived in this 63 year old house for 16 years. I have always wanted to refinish the hardwood but had seen too many poor jobs, We decided to go through with it and found Cody through a friend. After he finished our living room and master, we decided to go ahead and finish the other 2 bedrooms. The floors look so much brighter now. Cody and his team did a great job throughout the entire process. I contacted him in January and told him I would not be ready for him to start the job until mid March. Throughout the next 6-8 weeks I contacted him several times to ask him questions about the process and keep him up to date on when I would need him in. He was always responsive. On the day of starting the job, the team of three arrived promptly and went straight to work. As we were out of the house during the process he sent us daily photos of the progress being made. After 5 days out of the house we came home to beautiful floors. We could not have been more pleased. They really did a professional job. I will surely recommend them to others.

Cody worked very hard to get my floor looking good. It was a wood laminate floor that needed to be refinished. He put down 5 coats of water based polyurethane before the wood grain was sealed. He just kept working on it until it looked good.

We were extremely impressed by the work done by Cody and his team! He installed new floors and perfectly matched the new floors to the floors we have throughout the house. He also finished the original floors and they now look brand new, while maintaining their natural character. Cody was professional, punctual, and perfect. There are a lot of folks who will claim to refinish floors, but there is a huge difference between those who started two years ago and Cody, who has been refinishing floors most of his life. This guy lives to refinish floors, and he has taken the time to improve his techniques and materials over the years to ensure a flawless result every time. We had our hardwood floors refinished by a family member at first but the experience and quality of the work was a nightmare and it had been over a year since the project was started. Finally, we were fed up and decided to hire a professional. When we hired Cody and Next Gen Hardwood, he promised to make our floors look beautiful. It wasn t an easy job to tackle but he took on the challenge without hesitation and was very open and honest along the way. My floors turned out so well! Cody took the time to explain the process and timeframe, and worked around my scheduling conflicts. He also explained the best way to clean the floors after refinishing, to make them last as long as possible. Due to the color I chose, there were a couple of spots that needed re-touched; Cody came back the very next day and completely took care of it!
