John and his crew did a great job and found ways to do the job right, but also worked within our budget. They were professional, on time and cleaned up after themselves daily. I would highly recommend Total Restoration to anyone looking for quality, but affordable work.

I hired Total Restoration 8 months ago to have my roof replaced. They took my insurance money - and I am STILL WAITING for the work to be done. I call constantly to have a date scheduled...no one calls back. I am so frustrated and just want the work to be completed. I believe they sub-contract out the entire roof repair work - and claim it is hard to get the sub-contractor to provide a date....... I would strongly encourage others to hire another company for roof work.

The worst experience ever. They promised me the work would be finished and returned within 2 weeks. They never, ever gave me an update of my job. I called and sent numerous text just asking for an update. The only response I received was, "I'm done with you, come and get your furniture". I finally went to their shop and work was still not finished. I finally got my furniture back yesterday, almost 3 months after pick up. Then they didn't have my screws to attach the top to the pedestal, there are spots on the chairs I need to touch up, and they removed, but did not return the adjustable feet on the bottom of the table. This whole thing was a nightmare. I do not, repeat, do not recommend anyone use them.

John was very informative throughout the process and the work was completed faster than expected and really over delivered.

Mike showed up right on time and did a great job of repairing these problems. He was very polite and professional throughout the job.

John Moore and his employee Mike were knowledgeable, professional, and respectful of our property. Additionally, I was impressed with John's knowledge, thorough explanations, frequent checking to see if we had questions, and frequently showing me what he was discovering and how they fixed everything. Upon opening up the exterior wall, the real cause of the water damage was discovered, as well as significant water damage. The repairs were significant and included removing & reinstalling siding, replacing rotted section of ledger board, replacing rotted upper and lower seal plates, sister 3 floor joists, replacing damaged pipe, replacing rotted sheeting, reinstalling siding, replacing insulation in basement joist cavities, sealing obs with silicone sealant, replacing rotted kitchen subfloor, and removing & reinstalling dishwasher.

The bathroom took longer than was quoted- 8 days instead of 2-3 days, but the finished bathroom is perfect and just what we wanted. The workers were friendly and courteous. We appreciate that John Moore went the extra mile and made this an A+ project. We had a wall covered in the sunroom and it looks terrific.

They came out, gave an estimate, gave me a date, and finished the roof and clean up in one day. In a few hours the tear off and new roof was done with no inconvenience to me. Returned in a couple of days to add the chimney cover. The roof is beautiful and I get compliments from neighbors and strangers/other service technicians and businesses that have done work for other issues at my home. I'm very happy with the results and the representatives that worked with me. Considering that this was an unexpected financial issue because I expected at least 20 years on the previous tear off and new roof from another company, Total Restoration & Painting LLC left me relieved that the new roof is installed correctly and I shouldn't have any leaks or trouble with shingles blowing off.

They were punctual, extremely professional and all prices were clearly laid out. The work was done right the first time.

The work was good. I think some of the edges of the shingles could have been cut with a straight edge but overall looks good. To early to tell if any leaks.

I do appreciate that John, the owner was easy to contact when questions or concerns did arise.

Perfect and better then I imagined

We had a new roof installed which looks amazing, had insulation blown into the attic, the porch roof coated, some gutters replaced and redirected, a solar fan installed on the roof, the chimney mortar repaired and a small repair to the kitchen flooring. John Moore was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. The roof damage was a storm damage homeowners claim which John helped us navigate through with the claims adjuster. The new roof was for $9900 which was covered by insurance, the other changes totaled $5700. This was a great experience and I would recommend Total Restoration for anything needed.

The quality of the work is wonderful and incredibly reasonably priced. I trust them because they know what I'm wanting. He doesn't pressure me, he just makes suggestions and gives a quote. They go above and beyond just to make sure I'm happy. They treat my like it's their own. I would want other people to know that this company treats me like I'm his number one priority. They are fantastic.

Total Restoration handled everything from the get-go! I called John and he came right out, inspected my roof, and tarped it. He came out to meet my insurance adjuster and did all of the negotiating to get us the funds to replace our roof, with our only expense being our deductible. I would highly recommend John and Total Restoration.

The paint job was fine, but we feel that the price was a bit too high. We did agree on it, and the original estimate was $3800. He gave us a discount (the foundation wash for free). He was delayed and wasn't able to start the project until a couple days after we'd originally scheduled. He told us it would take 25 gallons of paint to paint our ranch home. We put down half of the deposit. He came with 20 gallons of paint. I called the paint manufacturer to see how much paint it would take to paint our 1600 sq foot home, and was told 4 gallons. There were going to be more charges for power washing our sidewalk and apron, and we declined. Now...the foundation does not look any different, the paint job looks good...soffits around the home are not cleaned, and we were charged $500 for him to clean them.  

The company only used 9 gallons. They wanted to sell the paint that we were quoted and our deposit had covered back to us. We went to small claims court to follow up, and were told to get an itemised bill. We emailed and asked, and were sent one, but it did not break down the materials, only the job. We were told that the paint would be ours, but then were told that "he didn't mean that."

He called the other day and told us that we could keep the paint. I am happy with the job.
