Century 21 Homestar - Jay Adkins

Jay Adkins was the buyer's agent. I don't know where to even begin. In a nutshell, not one honest word came out of his mouth. He does NOT return calls, he does not reply to emails. His buyer's financing was having issues and every time the bank needed information from the buyer - the buyer was out of state. The buyer did more traveling to obtain documents then anyone else I have ever heard -yet the buyer was here to do a final walk thru and the loan wasn't even approved and she was supposed to be out of town. The buyer's good faith deposit check was never deposited. Jay said the bank decided not to cash it and returned it to him. Jay wanted us to sign a waiver saying we were ok without the buyer providing a good faith check. This part seemed fishy and I think it is illegal to hold onto earnest money. Just a very BAD experience with Jay Adkins and I would never ever recommend him to anyone. Too much dishonesty. Our realtor ran circles around this realtor and we were so thankful that our agent was nothing like this agent.
