Hartville Hardware

The installers arrived on time. They removed the old door without harming the inside oak trim. They installed the new door, caulked it, tested it, showed me the features and were done in about 4 hrs. Two problems the screen door did not close properly from inside the house, when he demonstrated the door we must have been outside. And they did a poor cleanup job, should have vacuumed inside the door. I called and complained about the screen door not closing properly. Another installer came out within the week and adjusted the door, still not right but will close okay.

We were extremely pleased with both the purchase and installation of our new doors. We had been looking for quite some time to replace our front entry door and the door between our garage and mud room. The garage door was custom in both size and installation detail and we were looking for a somewhat unique design for the front door. After unsuccessful attempts (Pella, Lowes, Renewal by Anderson) to find quality doors and a salesperson who knew the product we found ProVia doors on the inernet which led us to Hartville Hardware and our salesperson Jack Roberts. Jack was extremely knowlegeable about the ProVia products, (as well as the competitors) very personable and took a lot of time to assist us in finding the right products for each location. After we made our decisions, he even took the time to take us on a tour of Hartville Hardware's incredible store which has to be seen to be believed. Hartville has their own installers and the both the estimator and the installers arrived promptly, were very profesional and took the time to think through the installations, which were by no means standard. The installation looks great, they left our house as clean as they found it and with the exception of a couple of small details (manufacturer provided wrong finish on two items) which they will return to replace, both doors were removed and replaced in one day. We would not hesitate to use Hartville Hardware again.

Their service is exceptional. The people are very helpful and knowledgeable.

We are very happy with the sink as we could not find one anywhere in Akron without having to order it, which we didn't want to do. The store personnel were very helpful and I will go back again. I called the store before we drove to Hartville and was told that they did have the sink at the store to view and also on site. That was a big relief as we did not want to order on line before we saw the sink.

I thought the price was just right. I really appreciated their professionalism and the knowledge of the material. They recommended to us a particular door and what would look nice on this part of our home. I really appreciated that. When they installed it, it was just excellent. It looked like it was like when our house was built. Their people were very nice. I had a good experience with their company.

We are very pleased with the people, service, quality, and the finish product. We were more interested in a quality job than a fast one. The cost was considerably more than we planned, but some of that was upgrades by our choice. Do it right, so you don't look back and have regrets. We spent a lot of time on layout and function, so it looks god and is user friendly. We would defiantly recommend Hartville Hardware for a remodel.

It went very good. They were really professional. They come out and they were clean. Everything went as it's suppose to be. Everything they do is well. Their pricing is a little bit higher than other people, but it's worth it.

Very good workmanship. Replaced vanity, hardware, mirror, sink, counter top. Ordered materials through them, and job went very smooth.

We shopped at this store looking for a couple of different products and the salespeople helped us quite a bit. We learned some things we didn't know we needed to know.

I like their price and their professionalism. When I had a guy come out to measure the doors, he was prompt, on time, and professional. As far as their work, I don't know because I haven't had them out here yet. They've came out and measured and we've ordered the doors and everything but I haven't had them do any work as of yet.

They do just about everything. It's a huge store and they have a lot of variety there. They installed windows and doors in my daughters house.

It turned out really well. I had gotten another estimate that was for 5000.00. This company also fixed a leak. They were very polite. They stayed with the job until it was finished.

HartVille Hardware are very good. As far as people on the floor, we discuss what we want, we were happy with them, there were a lot of things that we didn't know about and we discussed them and looked at carpet there as well but decided to go with someone else although originally we were talking with them about the whole job. Everything we bought was of top quality. The customer service was excellent. We shop there for small items too.

Overall , wonderful experience. Just need to stay on top of the situation and call until the estimator gets back with you.

They were good. There were no issues. They cleaned up. I also used them to buy some hardwood, but not to install. They were not cheapest. The quality of the work was good. I was satisfied with them. I would use them again in the future if needed to.

The people are so knowledgeable; they can recommend about whatever you would need. You can go in with a question, grab somebody and they will find your part then give you someone to put it in for you. Their service stands out; you don't have to be knowledgeable to go in. Their prices are probably a little bit more but it is my favorite store in the area; they are great.

They were very good. The gentlemen were very polite, professional, pleasant, and very friendly. The price was very good because I told them I couldn't spend a lot. I already had one estimate and their price came in under that estimate. They finished the job within a week so that was good for me. I am already making plans to use them again in the future.

THEY ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME AND INTRODUCED THEMSELVES AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK. THEY DID THEIR WORK IN ORDERLY AND PRECISE MANNER.THE OLD DOOR WAS QUICKLY REMOVED AND THE NEW ONE WAS INSTALLED. EVERY LITTLE DETAIL OF THE INSTALATION WAS COVERED.THEY DIDN'T MISS A SINGLE DETAIL. WHEN DONE THEY CLEANED THEIR WORK AREA AND REMOVED ANY MESS THEY HAD MADE.THEY SHOWED ME THE DOOR AND ITS FEATURES .THE JOB LOOKED GREAT.I'M COMPLETLY HAPPY WITH MY NEW DOOR.

It's where everybody in Hartville goes. They just built a million dollar facility about two months ago, but the store has been in Hartville for 30 years. They get so many customers that they just outgrew the building, hence the big expansion. They have a garden nursery that's just phenomenal. I used their hardware service to re-key our house. They rent equipment for everything, including blow-up toys that children play with. They just have everything for everybody, and yet they've stayed reasonably priced. What I really like about the new store is how spacious it is. The aisles in the old store were so cramped, I could never find anything. There was just too much merchandise in a very small area. The aisles in the new store are wide, everything is displayed well, and everything is clearly written. They have aisle markers. If I use cash, they have a different method. There's a line I can go in, and go to the next available cashier. They improved a lot with the new store. Their prices tend to be pretty close to those at WalMart and Target.

They are just perfect. They are very knowledgeable about their products and are very helpful in describing all the different doors. The installers do only doors and windows so they were experts in that field. They were great too. They installed properly and did nice work. We were very satisfied. We got a Provia Storm Door. We had got another estimate for the same door from another place which was double.

They were very friendly and professional. They are very detailed with their estimates. I was very pleased.

I have dealt with Hartville Hardware prior to this purchase and always found them informative, helpful and accommodating. The doors for this project were ordered in mid November to be custom made, and I was told by Jack that it would take about two weeks for them to be delivered to Hartville Hardware, and timing might be longer since it was near Thanksgiving. Jack did not promise they could complete the installation after receiving the doors before the end of the calendar year. I wanted to have the installation done by the end of the year to qualify for the full energy tax deduction. I took a chance and told Jack to go ahead with the order. Afterwards Jack told me that they hired additional installers to get the job done before the end of the year. The installers were thorough and did a neat job in spite of the cold weather. The only problem was that they had cut the wires for the burglar alarms at both doors and didn't say anything about it and didn't replace the contacts and wiring. When I informed Jack of the problem, he told me installers should have talked to me about the situation. He told me to contact my alarm company, have them reinstall and rewire the contacts and submit the bill to him. Jack was true to his word and reimbursed me the cost of the alarm work. Overall, a very good experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Hartville Hardware to anyone. In addition, in regard to hardware items, if they don't have it in stock in their store, nobody does. Their hardware department is the most complete I have ever seen. I have found items there that I never thought I would find anywhere.

I really like their price and professionalism. They are very prompt. We are having the door installed in the next week or so.

They were very professional. They did a great job matching the cabinets in my kitchen with the other cabinets. Not to mention the price was good.
