George estimated the work to repair our granite and worked on it twice. The last day was a full Saturday and he called it a day saying he had a few hours more to finish the job. He seemed trustworthy throughout the job and asked for half of the payment knowing he would complete it on Wednesday. Shame on me for trusting him and giving him half of the payment. He showed his true colors when he failed to show today and did not respond to my text messages asking if he was running late or needed to reschedule. He dismissed my phone call this evening and then hung up so no voice message could be left. I didn’t think anything of the scam warning from Zelle when I paid half but I now have learned not to trust anyone, as genuine as they might seem, until the work is done. I hope others see this review so they will not fall into the same trap. George will likely lose a lot more future business than the $350 he took from me if he doesn’t respond and finish the job.

Started out great! I'm an electrician and do projects like this all of the time so I was pumped to work on my own home. They tore out the ceiling so I personally added can lighting yo the kitchen and did some other things like my own plumbing because that's something they do not offer. Got ya understood. So I took care of all of that in two days and where's Joey? Told me to get a second opinion for his own sub conctractor regarding HVAC to try to get the insurance adjusters to get a water damaged furnace replaced that was also damaged from the water. None of this ever came yo fruition. Oversold and under delivered. In personally still cutting base board to finish this job that he started in August of 2019. Wouldnt see him for weeks and if we did there was always something on our part. Cant believe I am saying this but I would consider servepro over this outfit if I had to pick again through the insurance company, or better yet just do it my darn self and get it done in a week not half a year! What a joke

Hired Mitchell Restoration Services, a dad and son company that we found in Home Advisors in early June for a dry out of our home after water damage. A young man named Joey came the day he said he would, put out fans and returned a week later to check the dryness. We decided to hire the company for restoring kitchen and family room. Joey tore out the cabinets, sink, dishwasher, pretty much everything in kitchen. He tore up the flooring and tore up dry wall, ceiling everywhere water had been. As of Nov 9th, we still had no kitchen or family room/bathroom. He would come every few weeks and work a couple hours and leave. They have been paid after repeatedly demanding money. They claimed this was what was keeping them from working. They took a sabbatical for 5 weeks. We finally got the money issue resolved thru CU and Insurance. FYI-Our CU wanted to hold half of the money and this is their way of protecting their customers from being taken. Again, this did not resolve their showing up and working. He would come every couple of weeks, maybe 1 or 2 days and then only a couple hours. We had a deductible, no problem, but then Joey said it was more, due to upgrades, that we had never approved! Throughout all this we were promised things that did not happen and lied to numerous times. It is now January 15, 2020 and still not complete. They are demanding their final payment before work is complete and won’t come out until check is ready. We have been abusively talked to, lied to, and threaten to have lien put on our home if they weren't paid, and yet work wasn't completed! They lied to the adjuster, saying they did things but we backed that up with pictures of unfinished work. Items in our home were damaged, lamp, self watering planters, bicycle. They don't care, said they aren't liable. Because of their stand they have taken against us we decided that they need to stay away, even though work not completed. We are going to have the disarray taken care of another way. Seriously think before hiring them!

It went so well. They literally did everything that a restoration company would do. About 2 weeks into the job, the father other company fell and got hurt so the son had to step in, he did a wonderful job! I would absolutely use them again, without a doubt.

Great so far, waiting to see if repair works. Guys were on time, professional. Didn't try to get rich with price.

Everything was very smooth. Joey was great and very attentive. Estimate was in line with others. They were able to start the job much sooner than I expected. The finished product looks great and I’m so happy to not have to paint the exterior of my house again!

I call we scheduled a time for the work to be done. Joe and Joey came right away and fixed the doors.. The work better now than they have in 20 years...

it looks great. i asked for a bid through Angie's List to repair and or replace my fascia and soffet and 4 companies bid on it. But Mitchell's was the one that stood out because they were thinking outside of the box. they came back with a solution that corrected the problem forever instead of putting the same thing back up there that I would have to worry about again in 15 years or so. Their pricing was still comparable to the other companies, but with a far better long term solution. I would definitely consider them if I had to do any home repair again in the future.

The Mitchell's restoration team was great! The team was able to quickly identify problem areas caused by our sump pump failing, get rid of material impacted by flood, and begin the process of restoring our basement to its original condition. Their ability to stay on task while being flexible enough to incorporate upgrades we asked as clients is what really impressed our family. They are passionate about customer satisfaction and made sure we were pleased with the outcome time and time again. I would recommend them for any contracting needs.

They came in right away after we called them. It was a father and son tandem. They set up all the dryers and stuff, took out all the damaged stuff and basically re did the bathroom, ceiling and the master bedroom. I was so impress. They were very neat, put papers down, plastic down to where they are walking to protect the carpet. They came when they said they would come and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased with the work.
