Quick after hour response, called Friday night after 8pm, Water heater replaced in 1 hour and 15 min, next morning ( Saturday).

I received a call from the Plumber within 5 minutes of posting. He happened to be 15 minutes away and checked the problem and gave me an estimate for repair, which he did that day. I was working with a Home Warranty company and he took the tie to describe the problem with them so I could get the claim covered, which it was. Highly recommended.

Couldn't be happier. Steve did everything a homeowner wants in a contractor. tldr: He was PERFECT-qualtiy work, honest, reasonable cost, trustworthy. We're so happy we found him and we're eager to hire him again for other projects. -He called me back promptly -He listened to my description of the problem -He gave me a rundown of the work to be done and an approximate cost -He gave me the chance to ask questions and answered them to my satisfaction -He made an appointment right away -The next day he called when he promised -He arrived on time -He was friendly, professional and respectful of my home -He came prepared with all the tools and supplies that he needed, including things he might need depending on what he found -He made a complete inspection and gave us his assessment -As the job progressed he kept us informed about what he found and what else needed to be done so the repair was correct. This was where him being prepared was important, he didn't have to run to the store for additional materials -When he got into it and saw what had to be done, he confirmed that his original estimate would stand. Had there been another issue that we couldn't see beforehand he was prepared to revise the estimate right then and there -He worked quickly and showed us what he was doing, completely transparent about what was happening and what needed to be done once we saw the extent of the damage -He checked every aspect of the job in front of us, making adjustments as required so it was sturdy and correct and we could see that for ourselves -He did the job to our expectations, not shortcutting anything or adding on extras that weren't needed to pad the bill -He made sure we were happy with the work before he considered it finished -He left the area clean and tidy and put the old toilet in a spot convenient for us -The final cost was the same as the original estimate. This is important for two reasons: One, he's an honest man who won't try to get you backed into a corner to raise the price when you have no other options because your only toilet is now sitting next to an empty hole. Two, he's experienced enough and paid attention to what I was saying so he had a good idea in advance the scope of the job so he could give an accurate estimate in the first place -The cost was more than reasonable considering the work he did and the quality of the job I know this review is long but when it's your home, it's all the details that matter and he did everything right. If you're still reading after all that he was simply delightful. You hire a contractor for reasonably priced quality work and we got that, but he's such a sweetheart. Smart, funny, friendly, easy-going yet gets right down to business. He's someone you enjoy having in your home. He puts folks at ease by being a genuinely good guy. Some have that phony 'customer' attitude that's all sugary sweet but in the end they just want your money and don't care how it impacts you. He is NOT like that. He works like he's doing it for someone he cares about and does his best because that's who he is. We feel very lucky to have found him. He doesn't have all those 5-star ratings for nothing. I've been a homeowner for 40 years and finding someone you can trust is sadly a rare thing. Steve is that someone.
