Overall, I was extremely impressed with Security Roofing and, specifically, Randy Sitz, the sales representative. Randy told me from the very beginning that he wanted me to feel as comfortable as possible through this process. Since I was rather nervous about having my roof torn off in the middle of December, this really helped! He was very professional, personable, and attentive to all my questions and concerns from the start of the job to the finish. He also came to my property once or twice a day during the job to check on how everything was going. I was also very pleased with how quickly the job was completed. It was a fairly big job and they completed it in just three days. I couldn't be happier with the end results and I'm very glad I chose Security Roofing!

The overhang repair was a relatively small job with complications of landscape and height. I tried to get 3 quotes, and gave up on the third quote because the company was taking too long. Security Roofing proposed what seemed to be the right thing, I accepted, and they tailored what they did based on what I wanted, which was to make the roof overhang as maintenance-free as possible, while fixing the damage that had been done by the tree and squirrels. It took them a while because it was a relatively small job, but they got it done before winter, and that was fine because the weather was not doing my roof or siding any damage. They even reduced the price. The workers that came out one day spoke spanish, but they were able to ask where to plug in their equipment.

From the initial phone call to schedule an estimate to the day the roof was completed, Randy was there to answer any questions and make sure the job was done right. Security Roofing guided us through the process as they dealt with our insurance company and we knew step by step what to expect. Randy was always on time for any appointments we made and was available by phone any time we had questions. It's been a long time since we have had that level of customer service and their quality of work, products they use and warranties are the best around. They are complete professionals. They were one of three other companies we called for siding our home. Randy came out and looked at the job, took measurements, and reviewed some options for siding. He told me he would email a quote within a couple days. I waited...no quote. I called back to see if maybe they had the wrong email or something. I was told they would follow up on the situation. He came out in July and here it is Oct ....still no quote. A call back would have been nice.

FANTASTIC!!! Despite the large number of claims /calls for home repair from a recent wind storm, Security Roofing was great. My rep, Randy Sitz came out promptly to inspect the damage - in fact, twice just to make sure he picked the correct colored materials. I appreciate him, always returning my calls promptly and taking the time to answer my questions /concerns. I know there were many larger storm related jobs that were more profitable but these guys completed my repair sooner than expected. Their quote was also much less than another roofer I received estimates from.

Through Angie's List I contacted Security Roofing to get an estimate on some minor wind damage to the shingle cap on my ridge vent. Randy Sitz returned my call the same day. He then stopped by that same day to take a look and provide an estimate, but because it was so minor and I still had the shingle cap that came off, he quickly re-nailed and caulked the shingle cap while he was inspecting the roof! This was amazing customer service and I will definitely contact Security Roofing for my future roofing repair needs.

Selected Security Roofing through Angie's List. Randy Sitz called me within 2-3 hours after sending in email. Response was great. Randy stopped by my house the next day for a quote and left his card. I was not home when he came by. I waited 10 days for the quote and then sent him an email asking if/when I would get the quote. He has not responded. After posting this review. Randy did get in touch with me and today we went over the quote. The presentation was professional and well explained. I am satisfied with the final output and that this matter has been resolved.

I chose them because they had more people on Angie's List who referred them. I had a mutual friend refer them as well. They completed the job in one weekend. Our experience with them was very good. Everything was nice and easy.

We contacted Security Roofing after we had our roof approved for replacement by our insurance company due to wind and hail damage from storms. Right away over the phone and in person they were very professional. Both Randy and Greg were very easy to work with. They used a similar computer program to our insurance company for their estimates so it made it very easy to see where every last dollar would go- as opposed to more general paper written estimates. I was taken aback when their bid did come in about $3000 dollars over that of the competitors. But since I was impressed by them and they guaranteed the job would be done very quickly, cleanly, and with an respectful crew we went with them since we were not going to pay out of pocket for it in the end. Had we had to pay for it ourselves, we would not have been able to afford them. After they sorted out some billing issues with our insurance company (which they did directly) and the contract was signed, the shingles were delivered and the roof was done within mere days. It took 1.5 days to do the roof (house and detached garage- stripped down the the plywood through two old layers of shingles). The crew was very nice, worked extremely hard, cleaned up everything quickly, and just did amazing work. We are very happy with everything. It took some time to get the checks sorted out from the insurance company and then with our bank and Security Roofing (though they would check in with us about payment) never harassed us or rushed us to get the money to them. We were very please with our overall experience!

The workers came, got started right away, and finished the roof in good time. Afterward, they cleaned everything up and hauled it away.

Recently found some water damage on our 2nd floor ceilings and suspected spring storm damage to the roof. I immediately called Greg. Randy came out within a day or two to inspect my entire roof for hail damage. Although there was no hail damage, he concluded that our original builder's ridge vents were inadequate and advised me to replace them with a higher quality vent and cover them with shingles. Their price was reasonable and they were able to do the job as soon as we wanted. After the job was done, Randy came out to inspect the work. We are again very satisfied with a great job by Security Roofing!

They were here when they said they would be here and they worked through all kinds of problems that we didn't know we had. They conferred with my husband and always had a solution that made good sense to him as a woodworker. They were really hard workers, really dedicated, and knew what they were doing.

Proposal The company was quick in responding to my request for a proposal and set up the initial meeting within a few days of the request. Randy was a bit late for the meeting but called to let me know he was delayed. This would be a pattern and the one issue I had with the process overall. Once on site we spent some time walking through the problem areas and what I wanted done. Randy was up front that the job would be significant (read costly) as there were several layers of roofing, the roof was large and complex with lots of dormers, and the house was more than 2 stories tall. I appreciated the honesty up front. The final proposal was delivered on time via email, and Randy scheduled additional time to walk me through the details. The estimate was in line with several others but Security had a longer warranty and used a product I preferred. Based on these I accepted the proposal. The job Materials were delivered three days after the proposal was signed. I was prepared to pay material costs up front but Security did not operate that way holding all payments until I was satisfied with the job. Materials were well organized and placed so that I would not have any issues in getting in to the house or garage. The job started the next day. A fairly large crew was on site to do the tear off of the most difficult sections, with a smaller crew the following days. As asked, they focused on a section where I had significant problems so that if there was bad weather those areas would already be done. They did a fair job of trying to make sure that no damage was done to the house and landscaping - but there were a few issues with some plant damage. The final roofing and flashing was well done. The team spent extra time in adding additional flashing and blending the new work in so that the overall effect was a very clean roofline and matched the Tudor style of the house. They spent time with me outlining the work as they progressed and asking my thoughts on some of the more problematic areas - adjusting until I was happy with the result. I did have some issues with 'end of day' cleanup, but Randy and the team were very responsive in making sure that once an issue was raised the problem didn't happen again. After the job The team did fantastic work after the job in getting the house back to normal. This included not just the final site cleanup but also getting all the outside planters, awning fixtures, and even deck furniture back in place. We also did a final walk-through before the team left. A few days later, I met with Randy to outline close the job and sign the check. He and the company owner asked for specific feedback on how they could improve and were very open to all the issues I raised. Overall this was a far better experience than I expected when I decided I had to replace the roof.

The quality of work was excellent, but we had several instances of difficulty connecting with the account representative that resulted in delays of completion of the job.

They did great. They got started really quickly. There was some delay on finishing up because they didn't get the correct gutters. They worked with me really great. They kept me updated on all of it. They promised me that I wouldn't have to pay a penny out of my pocket and I haven't so far. I've got to send them the last payments from the insurance company in the bank. We did agree that I wouldn't have to pay any from my pocket which was awesome.

The work was done professionally and there has been no need to recall them to repair any leaks. They even repaired the old leaf guard and gutter where it was not securely fastened in some places at no extra charge. The roof looks great and appears to be much sounder than before. Cleanup of the grounds was complete and no shrubbery was damaged during the work. A great job and friendly responsive representatives. I will be using them again to perform some other work they recommended, but finances would not allow.

Securty Roofing was very responsive from the beginning. Their communications with us were clear and comprehensive. They showed up on schedule, and were completely prepared for all aspects of the task. They cleaned up completely at the end of each day. There were no loud radios, and they showed excellent respect for our property by covering everything with tarps that might be damaged by the tear-off and installation. They cleared nails and metal from around the house with magnets. The job came in exactly on estimate, My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the results, as well as the way this company does business. We will certainly recommend them to friends and acquaintences in the area. This company is young, and is focussed on doing everything right.

We were very pleased with the work done, and the cleanup. They seemed very experienced, and efficient. We were happy to have it all done in one day. We would definitely use this company again.

Security Roofing conducted a site survey, prepared a proposal, outlined how the roof, damaged fascia and an incorrect downspout could be replaced in a minimum amount of time. They also used the same estimating software as the insurance company adjuster which made submitting the claim much easier. Their price was not the cheapest, but below the adjuster's estimate. The roof replacement took a Friday and part of the next day. The fascia and downspout replacement required different repairmen with different skills. That replacement was done about a week later. All of the work was done in a professional manner and looks great. This company understood how insurance companies and mortgage holders (banks) deal with repair reimbursements Their payment was due after we were paid by the insurance company and after the bank endorsed the check (the check required our signature plus the bank's). We would hire Security Roofing again.

A serviceman found a 7 foot section of our roof ridge vent missing from a recent storm when he went into our attic. I called several roofers over the course of the day without even a return phone call. When I called Security Roofing late in the day, Greg answered the phone and reassured me that he or Chris would get to me that evening or in the morning (before it rained). He texted me that evening to tell me that Chris would be there first thing in the morning. Chris showed up on time, climbed on my roof with ridge vent in hand and began to repair! He ran out of material, ran to Lowes and got more material. In addition, when he was up there, he didn't like the way the original roofers omitted a shingle...so he returned the next day to place a new shingle on the roof. They are about 35 miles away and charged so minimal I think they used it all in gas and material. Chris was delightful and professional... they are an AWESOME company... first rate and I would use them again without hesitation!!

Wonderful service! If in the future I have a problem with my roof, Security Roofing will be the first company I call.

Randy Sitz, the sales manager, responded promptly to my telephone call and set up a meeting at the duplex to survey the damage and prepare an estimate for us and for the resident of the other half of the duplex. He was courteous, very thorough, and took the time to explain everything to us. He even took my husband up onto the roof to show him the damage to the shingles, since it wasn't evident from the ground. He found mistakes that the insurance adjusters for both my mother and the other resident had made when they inspected the roof, and interfaced with both insurance companies on our behalf. We really appreciated his help in dealing with our insurance company! Unfortunately, the resident of the other side of the duplex apparently suddenly "changed his mind" about hiring this company. Since it is a duplex, one company really has to do all the roofing work, so regrettably Randy had to decline to do the work for us. He was upfront and honest with us about the situation with the owner of the other side of the duplex, and stayed very professional (and diplomatic!). If we could have, we absolutely would have hired his companty to do the work, and will recommend him highly to anyone who needs roofing services.
