They were great to work with. Work was performed as quoted. All interactions with this company were positive and pleasant. The workers came early, worked hard, stayed with it and completed the job in a day and a half. They did a great job of cleaning up debris before leaving. We are extremely pleased that we chose Security Roofing to do this project and are pleased to recommend them to anyone who asks us who did our work.

Did a great job with quality products and worked well with my insurance. The leaky skylights were not a roofing issue, but due the a deteriorated seal between the frame and glass.

Randy responded quickly and did a professional job. The builder of my home made mistakes when installing my roof. Over several years I've lost shingles, as well as had a leak due to my builder not installing fire & ice roof shields and poor caulking. Excessive off-colored caulking was visible around the flashing and took away from the bay window's appearance. I've used Randy for several years and he has always responded timely; charged very reasonable prices; and honest and thorough in his analyses. I have always been satisfied with his work. Regarding the current service, I was very pleased: the new color of the flashing made it blend in nicely against the house; no caulking was visible - no imperfections could be seen. The result turned out better than I expected.

I only invited the best rated vendors from "Angies list" and "Home advisor". Out of an elite group like that, I was expecting to choose the low cost provider. But I chose Security Roofing because Randy seemed to be the most thorough in his estimate measurements. And the company says they will stand behind their work for 10 years, and are willing to put it down on paper. Using all the GAF roofing materials extends their workmanship warranty even further, but I was more impressed with their willingness to stand behind their work with or without the manufacturers warranty extension. I think my job was big enough that I actually had 2 crews working on it, but the company is small enough that you have a continuity of workers on your job. The crews were fine, real hard workers, but the two crew leaders were exceptional. And very capable of solving issues. We did have at least one technical challenge, but between Greg, Randy, and Artoro found an elegant solution that worked out perfectly and looked great. I was worried that we put on the roof too late in the season, since we have high winds in the area. but it looks like we survived the winter without incident and the summer sun should seal the shingles down just fine. The roof and siding look great, and I look forward to a lifetime of low maintenance protection for the home.Its not that the installation was problem free. We did have damage to the gutters, and scratches and dents in a new front door, and ruts in the lawn where the trailer was sitting to catch the old tear-off materials. But true to their word, Security Roofing either replaced or repaired the gutter issues before they called the job complete. And Greg offered monetary reparations for the dent in the new door threshold which I didn't take accept, but it was nice that they offered. They did buff out the scratches in the door. And just bought a lawn roller that should be able to take out the ruts in the lawn this spring. Bottom line, their assertion that they will stand behind their work for at least 10 years was probably the deciding factor for us, in addition to all the positive reviews. And so far they have not given me any reason to doubt their sincerity. I would definitely hire them again. And I will update this review in 5 or 10 years to let you know how the roof and siding workmanship held up.

Greg at Security Roofing was very informative. He was able to provide several options to what my problem might be. After the job was complete, Greg gave me detailed feedback on the work that was completed. I was confident the job was done the right way. I would highly recommend Security Roofing for any roofing or siding projects.

They were professional, patient, prompt, and went above and beyond the call of duty at every turn. -It started with them "fighting with" our insurance company on my behalf over a number of months which included many emails and meeting the adjusters in person and sending in reports and photos of our roof and purchasing the shingle my insurance company wanted to use and putting some on our roof to show they wouldn't match. The end result was that instead of my insurance company only replacing 16 shingles after a storm, they paid for the replacement of the entire thing! -I had a deductible that I was worried about and Security Roofing absorbed this entire cost...plus a sun tunnel! -When it came time to replace the roof, they got us right in and did the whole thing in one day with a courteous, hard-working crew. -Several upgrades and repairs were done with NO extra cost! -Security Roofing went beyond what code required to make our roof even more secure. -I had some panels replaces that weren't covered by insurance so owed some money. Due to unexpected car repairs I had to delay payment. They were patient and understanding. I could go on and on but will stop for now. I will sing the praises of Security Roofing to anyone who will listen! :-) I will call them again when it comes to replacing my gutters and soffits. Thank you Greg and Randy and crew!

I requested an estimate for downspouts by computer and was never contacted or estimate

Start to finish, my experience with Greg and Randy at Security Roofing was the best I've ever had with a contractor. We live in Tipp City and got hit hard by the big storm back in May. When I suspected that we might have some hail damage I called a contractor my in-laws recommended.....left a message and waited a week. The guy never called back. I found Security Roofing on Angie's list and called on a Thursday. Randy called back on Friday and was here at the house on Monday. He confirmed that there was some damage. I called the insurance company and they sent out an adjuster. Randy came back and walked the property with the adjuster to make sure he saw everything. The upshot is that we got basically a whole new home and garage exterior because of Security Roofing. Their work crew was terrific. If the weather was fit to work and there was daylight, the workers were out there....including Saturday and Sunday. And I don't know how they did it, but through all that they managed to not damage my wife's flowers. One other thing. Turns out the guy my in-laws recommended never returned their phone call either..........so they hired Security Roofing to do their roof and patio cover.

It was a pleasure doing business with this company. They did a great job on clean up and took care of our home.

They made sure to work with our schedule and arrived when expected. They cleaned the yard when done. Work looks excellent. When a workman inadvertently stepped through a bad piece of decking and made a hole the in ceiling underneath, the project manager immediately apologized & came inside to clean it up. Security Roofing had a contractor come out and fix it quickly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants all or part of a roof (or gutter work) done!

I was so nervous choosing someone to replace our roof only because we have had contractors for other things do terrible jobs. This is why I chose to join Angie List. I wanted a dependable, reasonable, quality roofer. Security Roofing has been that and more. I contacted them because of a leak coming in from the roof through the family room. They came out the next day to take a look. Because of snow on the roof, they were not able to start job but they were able to do something temporarily, to stop leak into house, until the snow melted. As soon as snow melted they came out and had the roof done in 2 days. They also fixed the damage on the inside of my house and it looks better than its ever looked. As it began to warm up I noticed the rubber roof (only on the addition of the house) began to look wavy. They came out immediately and tore all the rubber roof off and replaced it without ANY hassle. Here we are a year later and we have sold our home and the inspector wanted us to add a little bit of sealer under flashing. I called Randy, at Security Roofing, and once again he is there to help me out. In his words..."I will do what I need to do to get your house sold". I really cant say enough nice things about Randy and the guys that worked so h****** my home. If you are in need of a roofing company, these guys deserve the call. I will ALWAYS recommend them! Security Roofing and Greg Olsen came with high recommendation by our property management company. He definitely delivered on his reputation. High quality work, very fast once the weather cooperated, and so knowledgable. He spent several occasions speaking to our insurance adjuster on the phone and meeting her in person, and ultimately the claim was approved and we were able to have the roof work done and paid for by our insurance. We are very happy with our dealings with Security Roofing and Greg; you will be pleased if you choose them for your roofing needs!

We did a 60,000 remodel when we moved into the house and did a lot of the work ourselves. Occasionally, we had to hire other people and looking back we second guess some of the people we hired. However, this was not one of those times. Security Roofing was great to work with and Greg is a pleasure to speak to. Security came out several times to double check the estimate our insurance company gave us and they found a significant amount of additional work that the insurance company missed. They were timely, quiet, and professional. I love that they stand behind their work and I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone searching for a roofing company. They stand alone in my opinion.

Everything fine, work completed as requested. The only complaint would be that they finished and left without saying anything to me.

I joined Angies List specifically to find a contractor to accomplish this large job on my 95 year old mothers home after significant hail damage occurred. After initially considering 6 companies/contractors, to include interviews, I chose Security Roofing. This was not an easy decision as several of those interviewed were strong contenders. My final choice was based ultimately on two things. First was my research result where Security Roofing appeared to be an overwhelming favorite of AL subscribers with nearly 300 very satisfied clients. One thing that impressed me while reading these reviews of Security was the repeated mention of the General Manager by name as being unusually responsive to customer inqueries. In every instance that GM, Randy Sitz, had not only resolved any issues to the customers satisfaction, but had taken the time and made the effort to respond in writing via Angies List to these customers. He stood alone among his peers in this regard.. I was most impressed by this, and after meeting and talking with Randy about the job, I felt that he was sincere about his desire to do the work the way I wanted it done. (I'll add here that I'm 70 years old and not easily impressed). The crew of roofers did an excellent job, and I mean exactly that, on ALL their work. These men are true professional craftsmen and they cut no corners nor are they slipshod in any way, right down to cleanup of your property. Randy had suggested several improvements/upgrades that he could accomplish if I wanted, at no additional cost to me. One was the replacement of gable end vents with a more efficient ridge vent system, eliminating five roof top box vents as well as the end vents. He also suggested running a 60 foot one piece gutter across the entire front of the house in order to eliminate a downspout adjacent to the front entry door. That required the use of a higher capacity gutter, the availability of which I was ignorant.. That really cleaned up the overall appearance of the house and was something I would not have thought of. I was initially hesitant to have the "Arizona Room" roof replaced because it involved taking the old insulated aluminum roof completely off. Greg convinced me that I should do it, and when I saw the old roof after removal I was certainly glad he prevailed! Because of unseen water damage the inside of that insulation was a mess. All the work was done just as Randy promised it would be and Randy himself was frequently present to make sure all was going well. Never before have I had a contracted job completed to my utter satisfaction without having issues that had to be resolved. Randy and Security Roofing owner Greg Olsen were great at keeping me informed thru the entire process and really went the extra mile, more than once, to ensure that I was happy with the job. I give them the highest recommendation with absolute confidence that anyone contemplating their services will be as happy as I am with the results. Thank you Greg and Randy, and all your workmen. 04/27/2014 Update. In preparation for the sale of this home after the death of our mother, we enlisted the services of Allen Home Inspections (on Angie's List) in order to provide us with the necessary information pertaining to required repairs etc. The inspector told us that he had not seen any roof to compare with the quality of this one, and he has seen many! He was very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail evident throughout. Once again, a heartfelt thanks to Greg, Randy, and the workmen involved.

The rep was very responsive and the job was completed quickly once started. Clean-up great. Recommended to a neighbor friend and they did a great job on her house too.

I joined Angie's List because I needed to have my roof and gutters replaced and I wanted to find a reliable, competent and honest roofing contractor with integrity. I knew this project would be at a moderate expense and wanted to make a good choice of contractor. I picked (3) Angie's List Roofing Contractors and asked all (3) for estimates which were promptly provided. My experience with Security Roofing has been nothing but positive and very professional from start to finish. I cannot be more pleased and satisfied with all the work Security Roofing did for me and was also very impressed with the quoting process and support I received from their main office. Randy Sitz came out to give me an estimate. He handed me a professional folder that contained information about Security Roofing, several informational brochures on roofing products that could be installed, and an actual booklet from their shingle manufacturer giving lots of examples and color choices. Out of the (3) roofing contractors I asked for estimates, Security Roofing was the only one who gave me this type of information and it was very helpful in answering questions and helping me to make an informed choice. Randy was very punctual - to the minute and was very professional, courteous, and answered all the questions I asked. He also came out the day of my roof installation and spent time making sure everything was going well. I appreciated the extra support this afforded as I had no idea how things should proceed. I also had contact with Greg Olsen, the president of Security Roofing on the phone and through email. He was also very courteous and professional. I emailed him over a dozen questions I had about the process and what Security Roofing would do for me. He promptly answered all of my questions in detail. I emailed him several more times with follow-up questions and all were promptly answered. I also want to mention the quote I received. Security Roofing gave me a very detailed quote showing each item that was being installed on my roof and the breakdown in cost per unit along with a total cost of each item. The quote also offered some upgrade options if I was interested. I only received very "general" quotes from the other (2) roofing contractors. So, the detail in Security Roofing's quote was much appreciated and showed a "step above" the other roofers in quality and professionalism. On the day of my roof installation, a roofing crew showed up with Arturo as the foreman. I could not be more pleased with their work ethic and the quality of the work they performed. I needed to have a couple of pieces of wood replaced and Arturo removed several existing pieces to get down to the problem spot to repair it. The crew took very few breaks and worked very hard all day to get my roof totally replaced. They removed all the old shingles, felt, and all nails before beginning my new roof installation. The cleanup process after the work was finished was also very impressive. I could not find even the smallest piece of roofing debris in my yard. Arturo also removed my existing gutters and removed/replaced the aluminum fascia covering the wood behind the gutters. His crew worked over 12 hours that day. The next day the gutter installation team arrived. They were also very courteous and professional and answered all questions I had. I was also very impressed with the quality of the material they used. The gutters and downspouts had a very shiny and glossy finish to them and looked great! Should be a lot easier to clean them. Almost all of the other gutter contractors in the Dayton area use dull flat finishes on their gutters so this was again a "step above" everyone else. I'm very pleased and happy with all of the work that was performed by Security Roofing and its contractors for my roof, gutter and fascia replacements. There was nothing but professionalism and integrity throughout the whole quoting and job processes and excellent work. Everyone involved in my project made sure that everything was done "right the first time". I would definitely recommend Security Roofing and will use them in the future for replacing the soffit around my house.

If you are like me, looking for a roofing company was a very stressful time. It is an expensive repair and you want to be sure you are picking the right company. My roof was damaged by a storm and while it had 2 layers and was not leaking I had some time to research roofing companies. We searched the internet, talked to friends and ended up interviewing 7 companies - not fly by night operations but all long time roofing businesses, they all did quotes and for the same exact roof we got bids from $6800 all the way to $8900. I was shocked at the differences in prices. Most were showing us the exact same shingles so the difference in prices shocked me. When I was at the point of just giving up we contacted Security Roofing in Huber Heights. They presented us with a detailed contract and explained the process completely. They started work on the roof the next week and were done in one day. They cleaned the yard and left the house in perfect condition and the roof is beautiful. Their salesperson Randy even worked with my insurance company and got us another $426 for items that the insurance company did not cover on my original claim. That almost covered my deductible. I cannot tell you how wonderful it felt to turn this roofing repair over to people that not only offered the lowest price but took over and handled everything else. Everyone please save yourself the time, headache and worry that I went through - use Security Roofing. The best home repair decision I have ever made.

Arrived two hours before scheduled time knowing that we would still be at work . Nailed tarp to roof that we said that we did not want done . This caused damage to portion of roof that was not going to be replaced costing more . Only wanted to replace roof on entire house which was only 6 years old not storm damaged portion . Only gave estimate for replacing whole house roof .

Randy Sitz was wonderful. He was very helpful in picking out shingle color and trim color for contrast. Everything matches the color of our house trim and doors beautifully. Randy was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. We will call him again to replace the roof on our garage.

My experience with them went well. It was a very very good company and we liked everything about them. They were prompt and they got everything done on time. They kept the place clean. They were just all in all very good.

We had roof deck and shingles replaced. Crew was very efficient. All shrubs were protected and not one single nail was found on the grass afterwards. I highly recommend the crew.
