We are sorry that you were unhappy with the explanations provided by the technician concerning the issues that were found with your toilet. Please contact the office so we can discuss these matters in further detail. A proposal including the work for the other two issues was mailed to you. It is the policy of Aaron Kramer Plumbing to not give ‘on the spot’ estimates. A job may be discussed with the customer prior to something being put in writing, but for a job such as replacing a water heater, a written proposal would be submitted. In that proposal we would include the scope of the work to be done and the proposed amount for the completed job. Putting something in writing in advance is a protection for the customer and the contractor. The proposal is submitted either by mail or email, giving the customer the opportunity to read the proposal and then ask any questions they may have prior to signing the proposal.
