They came out and gave us an estimate. It was higher than we expected and we later found someone to do the job for a considerable amount less. I might add we also had an even higher estimate too. The project involved hanging the TV and soundbar over the fireplace and routing the cords down to the basement. They all had a different plan of attack and we didn't especially like the idea this crew had. We have used them before and liked them a lot.

They were very good and professional. Scheduling was easy. I was very pleased with their service.

Scheduling was fine. Two men came out to complete the job. They evaluated the situation, researched it, and came back the next day with the solution. The only additional costs were for some of the wiring they had to install. The price was very reasonable for the job they did. They even tied some of the cables and wiring up behind the system so that it looked better. They did a terrific job overall.

The service was fantastic. Both technician were friendly and professional. They did a beautiful job mounting the tv and moving the outlets. Will definitely use again

It turned out pretty well. They did fine. We paid more than the big deal because we lost our installation bar and they provided another one but that wasn't their fault that was kind of our fault. They did what we ask. They didn't show anyone how to operate anything.

They did exactly what we needed. Did not take 3 hours though. The team was done in about an hour because the speakers were already in place from a previous installation. They did a great job hooking it up and making it easy to use one remote for surround sound and tv.

My son actually meet them at my house as I had to work. Everything I asked to be done was done. A lot of tangled cords were left by other than that my son did not indicate there were any problems. Therefore, I assume everything went smoothly.

Not an easy job. They deffinetly knew what they were doing. Took them almost all day but they never stopped working. We just love the result.

It turned out fine. The took care of the work right away. They took care of everything I asked them to do.

TV was wall mounted into metal studs, and the a home theater was installed with the wires hidden. Very efficient service, excellent job.

I used the $99 wall mount installation Big Deal for this work. I called John before purchasing it to make sure they could do what I wanted and confirm the final price. Reading the offer I knew in-wall wire concealment was not included so I wanted to lock down that price before purchasing the Deal to avoid frustration to either party. Reading some of the other comments it's clear some people don't read the fine print and expect way too much from their Big Deal coupon. John confirmed the additional $100 to run the wires up the wall and install the outlet behind the TV as well as running the coax and HDMI cables down the wall and over to where the existing cable outlet is. I supplied them the coax, HDMI (already had these items from an earlier project. monoprice.com for anyone ever needing to buy anything like this - prices and quality can't be beat...), and the wall mount bracket as my Deal didn't include the bracket. (Monoprice.com again. Never buy a wall bracket at one of the big retailers at their outrageous prices.) I believe their current deal includes a wall mount bracket but at a higher cost so not a big deal to me. Jeff and Adam were very prompt and called ahead to let me know they'd be arriving on time - actually a little early, which was nice. They wore shoe coverings to keep the floor and new carpet clean while they worked. They were very personable and easy to work with. The installation went smoothly overall. They came equipped with the right tools and had everything they needed to get the job done. Watching them I learned a few things about doing this kind of work which was a nice bonus. Once they got the new outlet and cables ran, they hung the TV and made sure everything worked as expected - which it did. They never made me feel rushed and were very conscientious about making sure it was just what I envisioned it looking like - which it did. Overall they did a great job and got it done in about 90 minutes. It would have taken me hours to do the same thing and probably would have looked like a hack job... Great job - I will call you for my next job!

Initially, I anticipated a home audio system installation. The price was too expensive. Because they had installed a tv for me before and did a good job, I decided to use the Big Deal for the installation of another tv. I would definitely use them again. My experience is that the result is clean and professional. They don't waste your time and they listen to your concerns, so that the finished product is the vision YOU have and not just what they decide to do. I didn't give them excellent for punctuality because I didn't remember being given a time. I'm sure they probably did, but it wasn't part of the message they sent me, which included the date. I would definitely recommend them. I don't know if you can get any better.

So, I paid for that service and kept my big deal for the subsequent appointment. They did a great job of mounting 2 TV's, but put the one downstairs on the wrong wall. There were a number of extra costs that seemed expensive, $99 for an outlet and $180 for and IR repeater installation.

Adam texted me to let me know they would be there in 15 mins. They were prompt and polite. Jeff knew some sign language. They took the time to explain what they would be doing and were friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and put everything back the way it was. Adam gave me a tip about the channels that provides the better picture and it really does make a difference! I love the fact that it was painless and only took them less than an hour. Besides all of the above, they are Buckeye Fans--GO BUCKS!! :)

They arrived as scheduled. Couldn't do much with my system. It worked when they left, but is still sporadic.

Very positive experience from beginning to end. Contact with the company was quick, questions were answered and when necessary followed up by phone contact. It was clear from the beginning that there would be additional charges due to the brick fireplace mounting as opposed to a typical drywall mounting. I purchased the mount from The Theater People and actually purchased a new TV (from a store) on the day of the installation. They helped unload the TV from my car and proceeded to measure it, set it up and installed everything including my peripherals. They showed me how to work the TV and use the remote as well. A pleasure to do business with them and if needed, I would contact them again.

Everything went perfectly. The staff were very professional and very nice. While cutting into the wall, they followed behind with a vacuum! We highly recommend The Theater People!

Johns. crew called and asked if they could come earlier than the appointment time which I was OK with. They came in introduced themselves and walked me through the process. They were extremely professional they put covers on their shoes installed a plastic floor cover over the area they were working on and went right to work. They were patient and answered all my questions. I really felt comfortable with them doingt the work. After they completed the job they made sure I had a understanding on how to use all the equipment. before they left. They vacumed and cleaned up the area they worked in. I was very Impressed with them.

Overall, these guys did a great job. I left them to do the work while I went back to work. I came back a couple of hours later and they had the TV up and the plaster wall patched and painted. I have no idea how they did it that fast but I was very impressed. The plaster work is nearly invisible. Their wall guy has some skills. I can recommend them without hesitation.

They were great. They delivered what they promised when they promised in a very professional manner. I had an issue after they left which was the a result of a problem that was the fault of the cable company. They were extremely responsive to the problem. Great customer service!

TV mount technicians did a great job in setting up the tv and connections inside the wall . But I had to pay extra $99 for electric wiring which was not part of $200 deal . They expected that the power outlet should be exactly behind where the TV is mounted to conceal the wires inside the wall . This was not the case for me . I came to know this after I bought the deal on Angie's list website . Ideally they should have clearly specified that they would charge $99 extra if they have to bring down the wires inside the wall in the initial ad posted in the website . I wish they could have been more precise on the pricing mentioned in the Fine print of the ad . I was not happy with overall pricing but happy with the work with technicians did at my home .

It went great. There are two guys that came out and I had a couple of things that I needed. I had a wireless keyboard for a brass band and they did not know how to hook it up. They did not do the drywall repair. They left a wire hanging there. I went with them because it was a big deal.
