+ -1 moreIf you go to what you think is an ADT site on line you might get Security Choice which appears to be ADT. They sell ADT systems and set appointments for installers. The fee is $99 plus tax which and quot;insures you will be there to meet the installer.and quot; They promise a $100 Visa gift card to reimburse for the charge once you sign up. However, the sales reps breeze by the information so quickly in a lengthy list of disclosures at the end of the conversation it's easy to miss you must go to their web site within 30 days and download a form with their special code number to apply for the gift card. When I didn't get it I called and, of course, it was too late! I complained and they agreed to send it anyway although I haven't seen it yet. I will amend this review when I get the $100. Also, the rep pressured me to agree to the most expensive package, insisted on a social security number and quot;to check my creditand quot; and wanted a credit card. I refused the credit card number and they made a and quot;special exceptionand quot; after checking with the supervisor. The actual installer was from Safe Streets and he was great.
Description of Work: Sold an ADT security system. This was just the sales part, not the installer nor the monitoring.

+ -1 moreWe purchased a home with an existing ADT system. I called the number listed for Security Choice and it went direct to ADT. I wanted someone to come out and see what existing equipment we could use and want we needed to replace. The salesperson on the phone just wanted me to commit to a contract and wouldn't listen to what I wanted. I have had ADT in the past at a previous home and had a very similar experience. I had hoped dealing with Security Choice would be different. Certainly would not recommend even making the phone call.
Description of Work: Called them to try to get someone to come out and give me a price.

+ -1 moreThe service was great overall! They did a nice job. We had one problem with one sensor, and they came back out promptly to repair it.
Description of Work: We had an alarm system in the past, so they just updated the sensors and installed a new sensor in our living room.
