Scott Hall Remodeling did a excellent job. Worked with us to get the kitchen that we envisioned. Worked with the budget that we had. Kept us informed on what would happen and what time frame. Mike was a joy to work with. The kitchen was enclosed to keep the rest of the house clean. Excellent workmanship. Kept us informed of any delays that occurred because of Covid.. Definitely would hire them again.

The results are fantastic. I have never seen such precise tile work. If I ever need to install tile in the future, I will definitely have Dan of Scott Hall Remodeling do it. The carpenter (Joe) and the plumber (Steve) were also very good. All were very professional and pleasant - just nice people - and did a fantastic job.

We've worked with Scott Hall Remodeling twice so far-- once back in 2010 to remodel two bathrooms at our old house, and again in 2018 to finish the basement at our current house. You get what you pay for. They are a group of reliable professionals who will provide you with an excellent end product. Our basement now is higher quality than our first and second floors in our opinion! Our house is a new build (built in 2016), and on hindsight we wish Scott Hall had built our entire house! They also stay mostly on schedule with their projects, which seems to be a rarity in the construction industry. Our basement's finished space they worked on is roughly 1600 square feet. We put luxury vinyl wood flooring down throughout the entire basement except in the workout room where we opted for rubber flooring. Scott Hall uses high quality materials such as wood trim (not MDF which our home builder used unfortunately for the trim upstairs), top quality paint (again better than our builder used even though we upgraded when building), etc. We contacted Scott Hall Remodeling around May '18. Developed the layout and signed in June. Purchased the cabinets in July and Scott Hall's crew started work in August. Work completed for the most part in November with some punch list items wrapping up in December. Joe Davis was our construction manager and we would highly recommend him. He's very respectful of the fact that he's working in a house that you need to continue to live in during the process. He listens to any concerns you may have and does his best to find a solution. Our egress window was drafty and I wasn't satisfied at first; Joe returned to find a solution and made sure I was 100% satisfied before he moved on (which I can say from experience, most contractors would've just walked away and said their job was done. Joe actually cares that you're happy with his work!) Our crew was great, if you are planning on doing a project with Scott Hall, be sure to ask for Bryn, Joe, and Andrew!

We bought a new house that was partially renovated (& fell into foreclosure before the work was completed) and SHR did a wonderful job sorting & correcting the various DIY work that the previous owners had done, and built us a fantastic kitchen.

End product is wonderful. Took 6 weeks longer than expected. Ordered the wrong cabinets and Sizes. Had to wait to get correct cabinets made/delivered. Counters mid measured for appliances. Had to creatively fit new fridge. All workers were extremely friendly.

This was our second time working with Scott Hall Remodeling and it was another great experience. The planning and preparation work was smooth and easy...I love that they communicate so promptly and are great at leveraging email and text to facilitate conversations. Everyone does their best to make sure the renovation is painless. All work is very clearly defined and lots of thought is put into minimizing disruptions. Even small points like the location of the dumpster are reviewed so you are prepared. Once started, all the work was done quickly and cleanly. The crews were always meticulous at making sure everything was complete and tidy at the end of the day. We had one minor installation hiccup that was immediately addressed without any questions or hesitation. I like knowing they are responsive to my needs. We will definitely be reaching out to Scott Hall Remodeling for any future projects.

The quality of work is amazing. We are thrilled with the finished product. We were not happy with the management of the project - we went over schedule by months and we feel there were several issues that were mismanaged that contributed greatly to the lengthy delay. We decided to go with them because they touted their incredible management of projects and promised that the usual frustrations that come along with big projects would be avoided. So we decided their bigger price tag was worth it. But it just didn't happen. Again, the finished project is wonderful but the experience wasn't great.

Scott Hall Remodeling remodeled my bathroom about 8 years ago. I was amazed at the quality of workmanship, cleanliness, price, punctuality, flow of information, and progress updates. Eight years later and they are still a model company for other remodelers. The remodel of my kitchen is looking excellent.

The remodeling job took twice as long as originally expected. But, the craftsmanship is really amazing and we are very happy with the results! The contractors did a great job working in our house and respecting our space- at the end of each working day, our house was always clean and everything was put back to where it was before. We had a great experience communicating with the Scott throughout the entire phase of the project. Anytime that we had a question or came across a hiccup, I was always able to address it and resolve the issue with him. Communication with our project manager was a little bit more challenging, but we also understand that set backs are part of this process! In the end, we are really happy with the results and love our kitchen immensely! They were very professional throughout and would recommend their services!

We are exceedingly pleased with our new kitchen. The people at Scott Hall Remodeling genuinely care about the quality of the final product as well as the process and interaction with the homeowner. The people working in our home were professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, and pleasant. When there were delays (inevitable over the course of a many month project), we had very good communication about the source of the delay and the adjustments that were being made. Many years ago, Scott Hall Remodeling renovated our master bath and we had a similarly positive experience in terms of the quality of the work and the professionalism of the process.

Scott Hall Remodeling was great to work with. They took the time to explain every detail in advance, then provided all information in writing. Once we signed the contract, their team of designers shared options and made recommendations to move us from an outdated style to a wonderful new contemporary look. Every step of the way, the project manager made sure that I was 100% satisfied. Their employees and subcontractors were all very professional and considerate; I barely knew they had been in the house. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. I dreaded having the floors refinished, but between the heavy plastic used to seal off the area and the powerful air filter, the dust was contained and cleaned up at the end of the day without a remaining trace. Weekly meetings with the project manager ensured that I knew about any issues and what to expect in the coming week. They created a timeline and completed the project on schedule. It took far less time than I had expected and had heard from others who have had similar projects by different contractors. The finished job is of exceptional quality. I would highly recommend Scott Hall Remodeling.

Wonderful! Working with Scott and the team was exceptionally easy from start to finish and the end result is a beautiful bathroom! They were straight forward about the process, the timeline, and the costs. The team was very communicative and always available. They were adept at communicating through e-mail (which we truly value). Our primary contractor, Bryn, was thorough, timely, and conscientious. During the remodel, our home was kept surprisingly clean. The team always worked to keep things tidy and picked up at the end of each day. They used air filters to help minimize dust in the house and really controlled the mess. Through the remodel we were kept in the loop on progress with regular meetings. When there were a couple minor hiccups (not their fault) we were always apprised and a plan was in place to react. The team was very detail oriented and we feel everything was done with quality and care. Everything about the installation feels solid and like it will last a long time. We would definitely use Scott Hall Remodeling again and highly recommend their services.

Excellent! I hired SHR to take over on a botched addition and remodel. They came onboard in difficult circumstances and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend them! SHR took on a unique and difficult job. I had to fire the first contractors, and nothing was finished. In fact, it turned out that a lot of what the first contractors had done was substandard, and SHR had to either re-do or find solutions for problems caused by the first remodelers. For example, we had to take out the granite countertops and all the kitchen cabinets and they had to be re-set. The floors and ceilings were not level, so they had to find work-arounds for them. They did such a good job, however, that even professionals coming in haven’t noticed where they did those workarounds. They are that good. One of their strengths is their process. They take a lot of time at the beginning to go over everything and get the details right. I learned that these guys pride themselves on the quality of their work. They will not do substandard work, but hold to a very high standard of excellence. This is true also of their subcontractors. I heard more than one say that they will go out of their way to work with SHR because they are held to higher standards, and they’re sure the job will get done right. And that was my experience. There was so much going on with this project, that none of us could have seen all the details – but they had a really good idea going in, and addressed as much as they could. And when we found yet more things that hadn’t been done properly, they found solutions. Had I been able to start with them, I would have had a very different experience. If you’re looking for excellent workmanship, outstanding customer service, and people who really care about the quality of their work, then stop right here and just hire them.

When we purchased our home many years ago, we knew we would want to eventually remodel our master bathroom as it was dated and the finishes were not of high quality. Recently, we decided that we were ready for the remodel and set out to find a good remodeling contractor to work with. Angie?s List provided us many choices and we interviewed several contractors. Scott Hall Remodeling stood out with great reviews all around and when we met Scott, he was very knowledgeable and had good ideas and suggestions. We liked and trusted Scott immediately, so we didn?t hesitate to select him for the job, as we felt it would be a high quality job and a smooth experience. Even though Scott Hall Remodeling was not the least expensive, we felt that he and his team would provide the best value for our project and we would have a smooth experience. Over the next few weeks, we met with his designer, selected our cabinets and finishes, and scheduled the work with Scott?s team. All of the people we worked with were very helpful and knowledgeable.

This was our second project with Scott. Last year we remodeled our master bath; this year our kitchen. Both times Scott and his crew (especially Bryn Hanover) did a great job. We really like that the company has a design consultant (Ali Souder) - that makes design decisions more informed. Ali has a good eye and sense of design.
Work is done very professionally - no drama. Good communication throughout the process. We have confidence in this company. There is quality in their work. The completed product is exactly as expected.
