Description of Work: Every year i have Oakland nursery spiff up my very small yard.. When they get done it looks terrific. They plant the plants. Divide flowers, take out small trees ect. At least 3 times a year. I am always wowed by its appearance after.

Description of Work: The Landscape Architect came to our house to look over our current landscaping, discuss my needs and wishes, and take measurements. We only wanted the front of the house redesigned. He said he would call when they had an opening and gave me an estimated date for work. The first time he called he wanted to come out the next day, which gave me no time to remove existing plants or to dig up perennial bulbs. (This was during last year's terribly hot, dry weather, so I didn't want to dig up plants any sooner than I needed to.) The second time he called was several weeks later and he gave me the leeway of a weekend to prepare for his arrival. The architect dropped by very briefly during the day, while the crew, which consisted of two guys, pulled out all the existing bushes and the majority of the roots, which they loaded on their truck. They planted 12 small, compact, rounded bushes; a beautiful, full rhododendren bush; and about 20 large hostas. They edged the front bed, then added a truckload of fresh mulch which they spread out smoothly. They cleaned up all of the debris on the lawn before they left and were done by 4 PM. I thought they did a great job, but I wish the architect had suggested several options for plantings because when it was all done I didn't think it looked like $2200.00 worth.

Description of Work: I bought trees from them and some replacement Arborvitae. They installed all where I told them and the trees are doing great. I have used them before for replacement Arborvitae and they are much better than where I got them originally. I am very happy with the selection, service and growth of the trees. I highly recommend. I went to the Dublin Oakland Nursery for all of this.

Description of Work: We contacted Oakland to do a landscaping design for us. After 2 calls & waiting a few weeks, we heard back from them . A designer came out on March 19th and did a great landscaping plan for us. At that time I asked the designer to give us an estimate for them to implement the plan. I did not hear back from the man for 4 weeks, so I called their office. The person at the office said that he was probably busy & that he would call him and remind him that we were still interested. It's now been several months since then. I'm sure that the products & services that Oakland delivers are excellent....my experience was mixed. It has been disappointing to wait around to hear from them and see the time for planting things slip by without hearing from them. I will probably choose a smaller company that needs my business when we try to complete the project this fall.

Description of Work: WE are very pleased with the services we received: main service was design for redoing front and back garden; and future work as well. They transplanted bushes , installed new shrubberies, re-edged and enlarged garden. We decided to hold off on implementing some of the plans, for financial reasons but are we are very likely to proceed with these in time. The whole process was pleasant and professional, the design and the outcomes are great. The work was done at the promised time and SO QUICKLY!

Description of Work: I had a few Arborvitae's replaced by Oakland in Dublin, OH. I was really pleased with the excellent customer service and the trees look a lot better than than the ones I bought from the Creek (SP? :)) I should've bought all my vitae's from Oakland. I guess I learned the hard way...
