I got in on great sale! The work was done $2,000.00 cheaper than other companies. Pete was the salesman that we delt with and he was amazing. I had a great experience with this company and would recommend them to others.

Levi's 4 Floors did a great job! They even moved heavy furniture!

I looked at carpeting at a number of stores. I looked at Levi's first, but was having sticker shock. After looking elsewhere, it occurred to me that now that I had more information for comparison that I ought to go back and check out their carpet again. I found something that I thought would satisfy me and my husband. I still wasn't happy with how expensive it was, but it was in line with other places. The salesman, Randy Feather, was helpful and patient. The installers were professional and careful of the walls etc. There was a mistake of how far the old carpeting went over a threshold into the laundry room, unfortunately even though I pointed it out to Randy, I forgot to mention it to the carpet installers and they just used the existing tacking strips. We should not be able to see unfinished laundry room floor when the door is shut. I did not contact the company about this as it would have meant patching in carpet. Other than that we love the carpet and are very satisfied.

Company was great to work with. Working with an interior designer, we had already determined the make and type of carpeting we wanted. We got estimates from two other companies. Levi provided a competitive price, did the job in a timely manner and the quality of the installation was excellent. The sales person actually got us a better price than they had originally quoted by taking the initiative to call the factory and arranging for a slightly better deal and passed on the savings to us. We would definitely consider using them again.

The pricing was fair and everything went well. The installers did a very good job.

They made a good appointment. They came when they said they were going to. They worked really hard and did a good job. They have a different kind of carpet cleaning process than most companies. My carpets dried in about three hours.

Initially, the job went very well. Two days was allowed for installation. At the end of day one, the installer told us he was finished and also appeared to be in a rush. Job was not completed satisfactorily. Missed installing cove base in part of laundry room, and cove base in master bathroom not applied correctly and was not adhering to wall. Also, the laminate flooring was 'not finished' around boiler and drain pipes, it was left unfinished and ragged. Called Tom Stebbens, my salesman the next day, and explained the situation. He got back to me and said they were not finished and I said that was contrary to what we were told the day before. Anyway, we arranged a time for the next day to finish job. They came without materials to fix cove base, came two hours late and couldn't figure out how to finish off the laminate flooring around the drain holes and burner. We made two more dates to finish this off, much of our time was wasted with the installer not knowing how to approach the problem, coming late and leaving to go back and forth between jobs. After 4 different appointments, the work was finished perfectly, but should never have happened at all, and certainly not over the span of 4 more full days for 2 hours of finishing work.

As I was reading the stories in the Penalty Box on the web site I remembered a similar experience that I had with Levis 4 Floors. We were remodeling our kitchen about 8 years ago and the installer came to install and had an attitude. Then the workers that were working with our contractor asked if it was okay to walk over on the area while the Levi's installer was working (right in front of me) and the Levi's guy said sure. Then about 20 minutes later the Levi's guy leaves in a huff saying that he can't work with all these people walking around - without talking to anyone about the problem (completely unprofessional). The guy came back a day or so later and everyone cleared the area, and he finished the job. About 20 months later we noticed the floor was separating at the seams, allowing water to get under the floor. I called my contractor and they said we'd need to call Levis since they installed it. The Levis inspector blamed the contractor saying that they had nailed the trim into the flooring, but the contractor came back & ran a tool all under the trim to show that this was not the issue. The Levis people called the manufacturer and the manufacturer was willing to GIVE us a new floor because they had come out with a new snap-install type of laminate flooring and wanted to make sure we were happy with their product. Levi's said they would have to charge us for installation which was going to be several thousand dollars. I was amazed that the manufacturer was so willing to make us happy but Levis was not willing to give us a break. I have heard of other really poor customer service experiences with this company since then and would not use them again.

Very well. Ryan (sales) was wonderful, and the installation team was on time, nice and professional.

The experience was excellent, as I had expected. I had priced similar carpet at a hardware store during a sale and they didn't come close to the price Levi's offered. We have used Levi's on several occasions for new builds and rental properties and they always have provided fair pricing, very good consultation and professional work.

They had carpeting that was better than what we had before, and we got a good price. Installation was near-perfect and done in a timely manner. Berber carpet requires careful installation so that seams don't show. Overall, we're very satisfied.

I contacted Levi 4 Floors to obtain an estimate for upstairs carpeting and laminate kitchen flooring--Phase I. Hardwood flooring was going to be next. The contact was made on the favorable reviews that I had read. I spoke with Mr. Levi at Brice Road location. We discussed schedule conflicts and finally determined a mutually acceptable time and date for him to come to my home. It was planned to bring some samples of carpeting for my upstairs and laminate flooring samples for the kitchen and measure the areas and later provide an estimate for materials and installation. The day before the appointment, he called to say he had a free moment and could he come over then. I reminded him that day had a conflict for me and I would not be available. He verified he'd see me the next day. The appointed time arrived and Mr. Levi did not arrive. I called the store and at first said he was with a customer and lost track of time. Then he informed me that his vehicle was being serviced and he couldn't get to my house anyway and perhaps we could reschedule. Later, he attempted a call to reschedule (day before a holiday) but I had decided not to do business with them. I later used the company's website to send an e-mail reporting the bad service. I never received a response AND was somehow added to their mailing list to receive sale notices. Now that I am in the process of purchasing hardwood flooring for the remainder of my house, I will not be contacting this company.

He was honest and truthful about what needed done and the cost. There's a good possibility we will be hiring him in the future.

They were extremely quick. They were very helpful. They were also very professional on the job. I would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.

They were on time, got the job done within the time expected. It looks like quality work and the carpet looks great.

When we had some questions about stuff, they sent the installers back out promptly. They gave us an estimate and it was pretty close. They were good at explaining our possibilities.

They did a really nice job. It is a commercial carpet. I talked to the woman that came out to measure and I had specifics on how I wanted the stairs done, and she had a better suggestion, and it turned out nice.

It was a good experience. They did arrive to do the job when they were supposed to and they did honor their estimated price. We are very happy with how everything looks. The clean up after themselves was just OK.

It was easy to pick out the flooring at the store and the estimator came out the next day to give me an estimate. They were expensive but the installer did a great job. He was really nice to my curious son and finished quickly with super-high-quality installation and beautiful finishing touches!!!

When we ended up having the floor put down, we decided to add on and do more than we originally planned. Twice they ran out of how much flooring they needed and they didn't order enough. Besides that, I think they did a pretty good job.

They only thing that I did not like is that they did not leave me with any left over pieces. Other than that they did a great job. It was through the decorator at Macy's.

We chose this company because of the stain warranty. The sub-contractors who installed the carpet did a great job. The problem that we had was with the bathroom floor. The installer showed up late, the piece of vinyl was cut too short, he didn't have seam sealant, but he did have excuses. He did have to make a seam in the vinyl, but fortunately for them, the seam is not visible. We have asked for a discount, but that is yet to be seen.

Carpet is beautiful, salesman Tony, very helpful, called us when carpet cam up for sale. Installers took old carpet to our basement for us. Nice professional job. Levi's 4 floors has the best selection we have found. The Worthington store is larger.

The salesman did not tell me the correct price for the floor initially (told me higher) which was good because of all the extras that came with the initial price. It ended up to be what I thought it was going to be. Extras were to move each appliance, tear up the linoleum, install the connections in the doorways to the remaining carpet, big money for shoe molding ($1000) to a different guy for molding that goes over the edges of the new wood, extra to shave the bottom of 3 doors and the closets ($28 a door), etc.

Initial meeting with sales was fine. THEN: First set of installers arrived at my home in morning despite an afternoon appointment. They called me at work yelling "YOU'RE NOT HOME." Then hung up. They returned that afternoon and left the job unfinished. After they left, I discovered damage along or on every newly painted wall and new white woodwork. Thick carpet fibers covered my basement; no clean up. While in my home, one man was smoking in the garage doorway. I asked him to not smoke in my house. He said he wasn't; he was smoking in the garage. I said, "My garage is my house." He left butts in my garage and second-hand smoke throughout. Upon calling Customer Service, I was referred to Art Levi, who proceeded to raise his voice, erroneously dispute what I was telling him, and made a derogatory remark about me, personally. (I ve never met this person in my life). A second installer was sent to my home. He didn t show up or phone me until later to reschedule, delaying project and causing more work missed. I spoke with Larry Weis, customer service manager at Levi s. He agreed (by phone) I would not be charged the balance of the project. When a "PAST DUE" notice came to my home in March, I phoned AR and was told the invoice was sent in error. Levi s sent someone to fix drywall, woodwork and paint. Two men arrived (unexpected). Both were asking personal questions about my children who were there. I said I did not want to discuss my children. Instead of focusing on the task at hand, they responded with Why won t you discuss your children?? We re not bad people. What s wrong with us? etc. This was over the line completely unprofessional. j. At this point, I called my ex-husband to come to my home while these two guys were in my home. I did not feel safe or comfortable. They didn t make a single comment after he arrived. I thought that was end of story. It wasn t. As soon as I closed my original complaint with Angie s List, I started getting phone calls from Levi s. I also got another PAST DUE invoice and a letter from Mr. Levi that I owed $689.61, but We will offer a $100 adjustment for inconvenience caused to you. I contacted Art Levi and he said: "I intend to collect my money by whatever means necessary." I reminded him his CS manager told me I didn t owe anything. He said that wasn t true. He said the CS manager was out of the office. He repeated: "I will collect my money by whatever means necessary." I asked what he meant He said, Whatever means necessary. I told him that sounded like a threat. I asked, Whatever means? What you re going to kill me? He responds with No I m not going to kill you. He put the phone on speaker and then clarified saying he would contact my lawyer, send it to collection, put a lien on my house. I ended the phone call at that point. I ve experienced enough bizarre behavior, bullying and intimidation by this company.
