Levi's 4 Floors

They were very good. They allowed me to open a line of credit through them and I was able to pay it off over time. They were very nice to me and I like the carpet. They moved all my furniture for me and moved everything back again.

Great salesmen, everything was great. Just a little too pricey for me.

I contacted Levi's4floors to purchase carpet for my newly finished basement. I spoke with Sherrey Snider and we scheduled a date and time for her to bring carpet samples to my home. Sherrey arrived at my home on time and brought many samples. We discussed the pro's and con's of each type of carpet and color -- Sherrey was very knowledgeable and I appreciated her input and help with my selection. Sherrey measured the space to be carpeted and gave me the total cost for installation -- she said the carpet would arrive in a couple of weeks. Sure enough, in two weeks Sherrey called and we set the date of April 1st for installation. On April 1st the carpet installers arrived on time and went right to work -- they were friendly and professional -- once the carpet was installed they even vacuumed the entire floor and stairs (that really impressed me). I really appreciated Sherrey following-up after the carpet was installed -- she is a true professional.

Even before the work started, we had Pete checking on our progress every step of the way; from choosing the color and wood, to the estimate, throughout the installation process and afterward, he truly cared about the entire experience from our perspective. Delivery of the wood was punctual, the workers were very nice, polite and professional. Complete installation took about three days, but we moved very little to accommodate when the workers left the site, they kept the mess ot a minimum. In several cases, they even put furniture/items back in their original places. The quality of the work completed was phenomenal, the service levels were excellent and the mess/clean up was minimal aside from the sawdust. I would highly recommend Levi's for anyone interested in hardwood flooring/carpet. These folks truly do business the old fashioned way in caring about the consumer and getting the job done right the first time.

They did a great job. The carpet quality seems very good and cleaned up after they were done. The only thing is they left a part in the living room which started to become visible. Few days after I saw this, I called them and asked someone to come out to look at it but that hasn't happened yet. I imagine once they come out they should be able to fix it. It all looks good and they fitted all into the baseboards. I'm really pleased with them. The salesman was very helpful he took a lot of time with us to explain the types of carpets and the options we had. They also have a good warranty with it.

Our experience with this company was a disaster. After purchasing half of the carpet (down payment) and scheduling the install date with the salesperson, he self-admittedly forgot to enter the install date into the company's computer system. That said, on the morning they were supposed to be out to install the carpet, nobody ever showed. I had to call and see what was going on. The salesperson was off of work that day so I got bounced around a few times. Eventually the company worked it out so that they would send a crew out later in the afternoon that same day. When the crew arrived, they were mad that they got called out on our job at the last minute because "they were done for the day"...it was about 1pm, by the way. Anyhow, after moping and complaining about being on the job, the installers finished the job in about 4 hours. This was after they tried talking me out of using z-bar for an edge of our carpet because that material is "hard to work with", even though it looks really nice. Although I didn't realize it when they were leaving, the installers did not get an angle right on a part of the installation and they installed the carpet messily around our fire place. When my wife got home from work, she noticed the mistakes right away. We then had to call the company and have the salesperson come out and inspect the mistakes. He said they were in fact mistakes and that they would repair them. About a week later, they came out and repaired the mistakes, but now we have to have a wood floor specialist come in and take care of the damage that was done to our wood floors as a result of the installation repair, which will require us to take yet more time out of our schedules. In closing, we went with Levis knowing that we were paying more than we would have at a store like Rite Rug, but we were comfortable with that because we thought we were going to get superior service. That was not the case. We aren't going to do business with this company again, and in fact, I'm glad we are almost done having to deal with them at all.

Bill worked with us patiently for several weeks while we tried to decide on carpet. We borrowed many, many carpet samples, and Bill even ordered samples from the manufacturer on two occasions when he didn't have samples of a color that interested us. Once we decided on a color and ordered it, they kept the carpet in their warehouse until we were ready to install it. (We had very squeaky floors throughout and needed time to remove the old carpet and screw down the subfloor.) When the installation was scheduled, they arrived as scheduled, and it took less time than anticipated. They did a wonderful job laying the carpet. Several rooms have dormers requiring many seams, and they are very hard to find. We are very happy with the final job.

We had used Levi's 4 Floors before. They provided good service. The salespeople were very helpful. They do good work and are professional.

Salesperson was very responsive and came to show samples and measure for carpeting right away. The company agreed to have partial payment to order the carpeting, then stored it for 2 months until we were ready tof installation. Communication with salesperson was good - but could have been improved. The price included the cost of installation due to a current special that was being run. Installation was by contractors who were excellent and experienced. The amount of time and effort required by us and by the installers was underestimated, so the installation required all day for 3 rooms and hallway, and much effort on our part.

The installers did a good job. They were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They were also nice enough to move the furniture back the way I had it once the installation was complete. I would certainly consider them for future work.

Contacted the Hilliard store and worked with Randy Feather. Randy was great to work with and helped me quite a bit in the selection of the carpet. A date was set for installation (11/19/10). The installers were prompt and professional. They completed the task in a couple of hours and did a wonderful job. I am very satisfied and would use Levi Floors again.

The sales person (Rick) was both knowledgeable and cooperative with our needs to take samples home to compare. They explained price differentials and guided us to the best balance of price and performance we needed. The installers were on time and did a nice job of installation and cleanup.

I didn?t like the tiles that they first put, and then they changed it. There was another fee for that. They were very quick and did a beautiful job. I really like the floors. They were reasonably priced too.

They were exceptional. They had sent three people out. One of them had 46 years of experience, one had 20 years of experience, and the other person was relatively new. They did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. There were no loose ends. They finished our whole room. They were extremely efficient and finished the work in an hour. They were reasonably priced too. I couldn?t have asked for a better service.

They did a great job! I don?t have any complaints as everything was right on! They made the process quick! They certainly knew what they were doing. My furniture was handled with car, which was appreciated as well!

I have worked with Shari, the salesperson, before so I knew she would be helpful. I picked out the tile that I liked and she asked all the right questions to determine if it was the best choice. As it turned out, the glossy that I liked would not have fared well with dining room chairs and a piano bench that gets moved all the time. She offered alternatives and I took some samples home. She came to my home the next day to pick up the samples and give her opinion. There was less than a 2 week wait for installation. The workers arrived on time (first thing in the morning) and worked until 6 pm each day. They were supposed to finish in 2 - 3 days but it took them a week. Although they didn't speak English very well, we were able to communicate when necessary. They were very respectful, courteous and cleaned up quite nicely when they were done. The floor looks beautiful and we are very pleased.

The store has a huge number of carpet samples, and we took some home. The salesman came right away and did the measuring. Levi's 4Floors makes a practice of scheduling installation of products that they do not immediately have in stock. They do this with a confidence that is unjustified. The result is that the risk of any delay in a multi-state delivery pattern is borne by the consumer. That risk is the need to alter personal schedules and to live with a disheveled household until delivery and installation is complete. Depending on one's circumstance there may be economic costs in the unexpected delay. Our advice is to make sure the product is in stock before scheduling a delivery date. The Angie's coupon gave us an upgrade to a thicker pad. However, that meant we had to adjust our bathroom doors and install an additional threshold in the living room. The carpet installers were not prepared to do that. We negotiated a $130 rebate on the final bill for the inconvenience of the late delivery. We love the carpet.

Prior to buying the carpet they were helpful in showing us a variety of carpet to choose from. When they arrived they were professional and courteous. We were satisfied with their work and would use them again.

Kevin couldn't have been nicer and more patient with the sales portion of this transaction. He talked to us about the different ratings of carpet and showed us several samples. They price by the yard so it is a little confusing if you are comparing it by the foot but they were really the best deal we found. Kevin was fairly new to the store i think but so friendly. He even gave a candy bar to my son on 2 visits. We seemed to get our money's worth with the 6 lb pad and whole house installation. The installers marked the walls some and we had a bit of a miscommunication on install day as they subcontract installation but it was remedied with a call to Kevin at Levi's. And he even called the evening of the install to make sure everything went o.k. I would buy from Levi's again.

The sales experience was great. I dealt with Mr Randy Feather from the store. He gave samples at home and came home to measure and give an estimate. He was patient to listen to our requirements and provided matching options. The installation started on time and completed on time without any problems. The crew (Mike and Frank) were knowledgeable and moved all the furniture and replaced it after changing the carpets. They did a good job on the transitions (carpet to ceramic) with carpet shims. In general a great experience.

In the end, the service was fine. Both times I hired them, the sales people were no longer with the company by time the installation took place. It would've been nice to deal with the same person the entire time. The first person I dealt with in the July installation was really great. The installers were good too. The second experience the salesman was incompetent and measured wrong, having to come out again. I was left with a large piece of carpeting. When I called to speak with their main office, they handled it well. Picking up the carpet and paying me for it. I thought this issue was handled well.

We bought Mannington brand laminate that looks like a wide planked hickory wood flooring. The sales people helped us pick out the appropriate product and padding; the installers were great. They did a marvelous job and were very good about clean up and moving appliances. We are very happy with the product and the finished job. We will eventually need to replace the carpet upstairs and Levis4Floors will be on our short list of places to shop and consider.

The whole process was very smooth. The salesperson was very professional and friendly and gave great advice. The installation crews were also very professional, timely, and did a very careful job moving furniture, removing and reinstalling baseboards, and moving the refrigerator. The vinyl flooring has a pattern to it and the installers did a great job of making everything line up perfectly, even in pantry area and throughout the kitchen and entry ways. I am very happy with the new carpet and vinyl.
