Levi's 4 Floors

Great experience! No pressure sale and they let me take home several samples so I could make a decision. The installers were fantastic. They installed carpet in 5 rooms and a hallway. The carpet looks great! Very satisfied-will definately use them again!

A representative came out within a couple of days after contacting Levi's 4 Floors and took measurements, offered suggestions on both the vinyl and wood products. He answered all the questions we had asked. That evening he called back with the estimated cost of completing the job. The next day my wife and went over to the store to look at samples, made our selection and put down a deposit for the materials and work. I removed the baseboards in the mud room and closet, did some wall painting, purchased and finished the strips of quarter round, then contacted Levi's and said we were ready for the installation. The crew doing the vinyl arrived with all the materials including the wood flooring. They installed the vinyl in an afternoon. The next morning the crew for the wood floor arrived, moved the furniture, removed the old carpeting and placed it in their truck, installed the wood flooring, then cut and installed all the finishing trim work. We then asked them to help us move a very large area rug onto the new floor before placing the furniture back in place. The job was completed around 5:30 that evening. The workers were very efficient and took no breaks except for lunch. My wife and are are very happy with the work and the products and would certainly call them again when we replace carpeting in the bedrooms.

Exceelent. Had a few questions about seems between rooms and they were prompt in dispatching a service team to carrect a few minor problems.

Impressed with this company however tend to be on the expensive side.

They did a good job overall. They installers really stood out as he was outstanding.

I would recommend them. I have nothing bad to say but only good things about them. They provide good quality service and good quality products. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future; in fact, I have used them three times.

It was a bad sign when I came home on the first day of a 2-day job to see the new floor laying in the wrong direction. I called them to explain, and I had to convince 3 different people that the floor was in the wrong direction. Eventually they fixed it. After I came home on the 2nd day, they had not cleaned up; there were wood chips and staples all over the house. They had not moved the furniture back to the original spots. The flooring was wavy, squeaks in the floor were not fixed, and the firmness was not consistent. It looked very good, though. The carpet tuck was sloppy and the spike strips came through the carpet and could be felt when walked on. Some areas they didn't even bother to tuck the carpet. After making several complaints to the salesman, I eventually talked to Art Levi and the installer. I explained my concerns about the squeaks and undulations in the floor. Instead of fixing the problem, they spent roughly 2 weeks trying to convince my that I was wrong and I shouldn't expect them to fix it. After several phone conversations they did agree to come out and attempt to fix the undulations. In the end it was slightly better but nowhere near what I would expect from a $3400 investment from a professional business. Their standpoint was that they only guarantee the top floor, and not the subfloor, and my problems were in the subfloor so they refused to fix them. I maintained that that was OK, but they never gave me an opportunity to fix the subfloor when they had lifted the original flooring. They never even considered self-leveling compound to use on the subfloor. I don't think there is any value in a flooring company that doesn't also guarantee the subfloor, since as the customer, I want the entire floor to be good, not just some of it. In my mind, they just wanted to get the job done with as little time and effort as possible. They didn't want to actually resolve my concerns, rather convince me that I should accept their low-quality work. I'm not an idiot, I can cut floor and lay it down, but I paid them to do it right and get it done the first time. They did not do that. In the end I felt like I could have done the same quality of work for a fraction of the price, and it may have even taken less time and headache.

Our sales clerk was Steve Walker. He was very helpful, definitely not trying to sell us an upgrade we didn't need. We went to this store based on a newspaper ad. We were immediately directed to the sale items and given specific information about the quality and availability of the styles of carpet featured. Measurement was taken care of within the week and the installation was performed the following week. We are very happy with all aspects and will definitely use this company again

They were very professional, and are worth the money spent. They installed very quickly and Anita was very informative and knowledgeable with helping up pick out the right carpet for our needs.

Overall went well and am happy with results. Delivery of cork flooring always seems to take longer than they estimate, but that is beyond their control. I have 3 issues that could be improved: 1. cork flooring is beautiful but we have discovered damages very easily. Since it is a very expensive product they really were aggressive selling it to us and minimized how easily it damages. I wish that we had been provided more information on care/maintainance of this type of flooring. I am sure we would have still purchased it but could have avoided permanent damage that we experienced by simply putting a mat on the floor which left pits in the floor, if I had known it damaged this easily could have avoided; we received no care/maintainence instructions which would have been very helpful. 2. The carpet installation went well but the carpet has a pattern sculptured in and before I noticed the installers had installed in a different direction than I would have preferred, I was not asked and did not notice until too late to change. Overall I am still happy with the carpeting. 3. Also, 4 floors recommended a gentleman to install new quarter round trim, the price they quoted me was not the price he charged, he was a dollar more/foot than they told me he would be.

The salesman and installer were both very professional. Went out of their way to make sure we had a positive experience. However, we initially planned to use the Levi's closest to us (the 2035 Polaris Pkwy location) We were underwhelmed with the professionalism of the sales staff. We decided to give another location a try. I am glad we did. I would highly recommend the sale ability, quality, and workmanship, we experienced at the Levi's 4 Floors 6329 Busch Blvd, Columbus, OH location.

I picked out the carpet in February then my husband decided to do some remodeling first. I had to postpone when they would bring the carpeting 4 times and they didn't end up installing it until late May. They were very accommodating and didn't pressure us.

I think the salesman Tony Bradshaw got a big profit off of us. we were such suckers to fall for the deals he offered. We didn't go to another store because things went so well the first 2 times we used this store. He got us all new tile because when he wrote the order he added in quarter inch Hardibacker. He never really explained how much more that was than just keeping the plywood and asking our choice. Then it cost more to take up and haul away since they had to take away the plywood. The crew that installed it put the new tile in different than what we have above and around the tub. The grout was 1qt/in. there and now 3/16th of an inch. I am now trying to get used to the new look. The crew also left 4 of the doorstops broke and the water to the washer was hooked up wrong. Another big profit he got from us was the carpet labor sale. All carpet was installed for $25. I just called another one of their stores to find out how much I saved and her answer was, "I have no idea, since instillation is usually included in the price of the carpet. It just depends on if I got a good deal on the carpet." I paid $25 for what normally costs nothing. I am not sure if the carpet was really on sale. The two other charges he added on the bill the carpet installers told me about, those things were not done. Prices included: Carpet Retuck= $60 and Hollywood Steps=$45. The carpet guys did basically a good job installing except they did not attach the carpet on the side of the steps. They had to come back and they did do it. I called Tony to get credit for the two items, all the other things I think I paid too much for. I just have to swallow it. I figure I paid $700 too much on the tile and $700 too much on the carpet.

The service was outstanding. The sale persom, Anita Crain, was very helpful. She searched for, and found samples that were very close to what I wanted. One was right on! The installers did excellent work. It was obvious that they were professionals with many years of experience.

First of all, I must say that I had previously hired Levi's 4 floors to install carpeting in my newly refinished basement. I had such a good experience with their sales associate Sherrey Snider in that project, I decided to call her to help me with choosing new flooring for my great room, half bath, foyer and dining room. Sherrey is a true professional and she took the time to guide me on my selection of a laminent floor. When it came time for the installation of the flooring the two associates who came to my home were hard workers. The lead worker, Sean (I think), was a perfectionist -- and certainly knew trade! I must admit there was some language barrier between us, but we managed (and laughed). I will definately return to Levi's 4 floors for my next project.

CONSUMER BEWARE! With so many positive reviews on Angie's List, we felt confident in visiting the Levi's 4 Floors Polaris Parkway store. Our salesperson made the first error by writing up our order for the wrong carpet. The owners' daughter assured us that she was going to "take care of us" and "make this right" and she appreciated being given a second chance. She offered and promised a special padding ("Vegas" padding) to help compensate for all our troubles. We asked about the in-stock availability of this padding and she informed us that "we always carry it." The day before installation, and too late for us to do anything else, she informed us that they were out of the Vegas padding. Our receipt shows we received a closeout carpet, something we were not made aware of, even after suspecting it we were told "Oh, I would never try to sell you guys closeout carpet!" Two guys arrived the morning of installation. I found one of the two installers in my driveway drinking from a Budweiser beer bottle. I was furious! The co-owner came out to our house, apologized three times, vacuumed our new carpet, provided his email address, and left. We never heard from the company again.

They never returned my phone calls.

Our experience with them was reasonable; I thought their work was satisfactory.

Went to the store to look at some vinyl flooring to replace the 1970's era vinyl that was currently in the laundry room. I didn't want to spend a lot of money since it is only a laundry room, so the salesman showed me what they had on sale. I found something that I liked and made a purchase. The salesman came over to the house that night to confirm the measurements. The laundry room is only 4.5' x 8.5', so that meant having to pay the minimum install fee of $250. I did not choose for them to put down quarter round as that was an additional fee per foot. Much easier and cheaper to remove the old quarter round and reinstall it myself. Install crew did a good job and finished quickly and cleaned up after themselves. My only complaint is having to pay a minimum labor charge instead of the per sqft labor charge they charge for most projects.

Very well - a year later still looks real good.

LEVI'S 4 FLOORS The job was excellent. I was so happy we went with them. I was surprised with their service, since they are a big store. They understood our situation about the house and we couldn't put a lot of money into it. So they took us to the back and showed us other stuff that we could use. They were so nice, and didn't try to pressure us on anything. Couldn't beat the price. We are going to go back to them very shortly, and have more work done.

We are happy with the color, quality, and the professionalism of all the people we worked with at Levi's 4 Floors. I would recommend this particular store to anyone. Thanks for a job well done.

We visited the store multiple times, taking home samples to look at each time. Joyce was very helpful and encouraged us to take our time in deciding what carpet to purchase. She showed us different patterns, colors, weights, warrantees, and prices. We finally decided! The two installers were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job. They did nick a corner of the wall at the top of the stairs, but with the length of carpet they had to bring up, that was pretty much unavoidable and easily repairable.

From my first step into the store until installation was complete, everyone I met was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and very professional. The installers left no marks on my new paint or wood work and cleaned up all signs of their work. I will definitely turn to them first for my next flooring purchase.
