I got home at about 11:50 and the serviceman was already there to fix my problem. Even though they "worked me in", he took his time to explain what he did to fix the window and how I could do it myself should it happen again. ImproveIt really shines in their customer service and products. I can't say enough good things about them and am very glad to have done business with them. And I'll keep doing business with them whenever possible!

The sales rep did a 90-minute presentation, and presented us with an estimate of $7566 for a bathtub liner, handgrip, shower rod (not a shower door), corner caddy, soap dish, and drywall. He gave a discount to $6400, but it was still too expensive. They work with a finance company, and offered 9.99% financing. We will contact Columbus Handyman to provide another estimate for this job.

Since they did not perform the service. I have no comment on this.

The price was much higher than I expected, and they wouldn't be able to do the job for another 6 weeks. The gentlemen that came out was not pushy at all, but very professional and gave an honest, thorough estimate.

They came to the door and spoke to my wife and said they were putting in windows nearby. My wife told them I was not home, but would be back later. When I returned, they were there waiting. They were very nice initially. They gave a lower price than a previous estimate so I was getting very excited about possibly having the work done. However, I started thinking about other things we needed to have done, so I decided I should budget my money differently. I told them I would hold off on the windows for now. They then got very upset, and almost acted abusively.

Their job was excellent. They have also installed windows and storm doors in the past. I would recommend them, and I would use their services again in the future.

The salesperson that came was on time and professional. However, we could not get the whole demonstration process and lengthy interview eliminated. We've seen or been through them before and told him so, but he still felt that he needed to go through the whole thing. When we asked for the bottom line quote, we were given different options--replace all, replace some and lock in the price for so-many years, etc. The price was very high. 12 windows were supposed to cost about $18,000! If we had replaced some and then had them come back to replace others later, they would have charged us a and quot;trip feeand quot; of around $600. and quot;But the cost of the windows won't go up!and quot; he said. We told him that we needed to think it over. Again, lots of pressure to make the decision then. We said we would call if we wanted to pursue their offer. Finally, he left after multiple attempts to get our business. We just didn't have a good feel about this quote. We ultimately went to another company (Rosati) that charged us less than half the cost of ImproveIt. We're also much happier with the quality of the windows we received. No pressure with them and the service is terrific. We'd use Rosati again and/or recommend them to others.

Generally they were good. They told us that the corking would be mildew resistant and that the way it would be installed we would not see it. But we can see the corking and it is not mildew resistant. So the walls themselves are fine but the fiber bottom shower pan does need to be cleaned frequently. I wish we did it all by ourselves. The guy who did the work was very diligent and courteous. He cleaned up after himself. Probably we will not use them again. We did actually use them for the insulation. They did a nice job of that. There was a problem where the person who came out to do the measuring was inaccurate. They had to get more insulation and we had to pay more because they ended up slimming across because it was less than the ideal. It was a month later that they did that. We spend $3000 on it. Over all we spend $8000. The ladies who came out to do the insulation were hard workers and very conscientious at cleaning up after themselves. They were very efficient. Quality wise we were not unhappy with our results. It did not lower the heating as much as we wanted but we were told when we contacted her why our utility bills were so high it was really a whole bunch of it so it is hard to judge how much it took our utility bills down.. We took our utility bills down. We don't know if we would have had even higher bills. We don't know but it was higher than normal. Last December there was only one day above almost freezing. So it is hard to know how much it is helping. It was like okay. But it is not like whoa. It was not worth all the money we spend. The shower was disappointing and if we had more time we could have done it ourselves. It would have been cheaper.

Improveit360 is a "Home Improvement System" and while they said that their software would adapt to my company, it did not and they did not know how to correct my data or their software. When I saw that it was not going to work (for quite a number of reasons) I told them to cancel the service. They did not, and waited for a couple of weeks and tried to start me up again. I said I was done and would they please cancel my service. A couple of weeks later they said they could not do it and I should complete the process to up load my data. I said I am cancelling and to please acknowledge. Although I got a number of emails wanting to discuss it with me - they never did acknowledge that the service was cancelled. Talked to (via email) 6 different people who all said that they didn' know what the problems were that I was having and would I explain it to them. If their software is such a good follow-up system - how could they not know. I don't have/use the system, but I saved all the emails from them - so I knew. They were very slow to do any task. No one knew what the last person did. No customer service when I was unhappy about results, and worse customer service when I said I want to cancel.

I have used them for a long time. I like the people in the office. I like the work that they do. I am going to have them come out to do some windows in my new place.

They did a really good job, and they did it very fast!

They were here when they said they would be here. The price was a little too much for me, and I decided not to do it at all. I may get a quote from them in the future, but that would be it.

A salesperson from this company came to my front door. He said they were doing some work in our neighborhood and wanted me to know about it. He asked me if I knew about the house around the corner, described the house and gave the address. I said that I knew about it and asked what he meant. He said his company was working there and they had replaced all of the windows with energy efficient windows "yesterday". I asked him to confirm the house and pointed to the back of it which we could see from my front porch. "Yes" he said. "That one. It is for sale." I asked him how he got into the house. He looked puzzled. Then I informed him that I own the house he claimed his company was doing work in. I bought it last year, completely renovated it, had new windows installed in May 2010. It is for sale now. The sign on the front of the house states that it has all new windows, new bathrooms, new kitchen, new furnace, new garage door, refinished hardwood floors, all new paint inside and outside. I told the salesman to get off my porch, then followed him down the street where he was picked up by a van with two men dressed identically like him. I got a description of the van and the license number. I called the police and the newspaper, the chamber of commerce and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I hired them in the past, and I will need some work done on another home which I will be looking to them to do. They are great people.

Salesman was very nice and fun to talk to. we were only looking for a quote as they were our first bid, and the high pressure to sign that night and use their financing right then was a bit off putting. Price was almost double our budget, before we got offered advertising discount and a couple other discounts, then we got a Supervisor call a few days later saying 'Our owner is mad at us because we haven't been offering a rebate we get from the manufacturer. It would drop our price to slightly over half our original quote. Can we send a sales manager out to re-quote you?' Salesman claimed no bad marks on their record, said I could google it. When I did I found 33 BBB complaints in last 3 years. Worried me some when talking about the install. I'm replacing moldy green board and wanted to go with Wedi, Kerdi or cement board but he said they used green board and the installer he called said we wouldnt need a vapor barrier or spray foam insulation because we wanted air movement in the wall (which is what caused the mold to begin with). Decided a system wasn't the style we wanted to go with in the end.

As I was getting out of my car after work I was approached by someone canvasing our neighborhood from this company. The gentleman was really nice and asked if we needed window replacement (which we did not) then he went on to say they also do bath systems. I agreed to have someone come out the next night to give us a free estimate on it. The next night the sales representive (Phillip Crawford) showed up right on time to walk us throught the process. His presentation style was excellent and even though the presentation was lengthy before we even got to the bath tub discussion it was pleasant. We finally got around to talking about what we would want to do for the bath tub changes, picked out what we wanted and then he gave us the estimate. We were completely shocked at how much they were charging ($9700) just for a bathtub replacement (not even a full bathroom remodel). After saying we were not interested the whole tone of the conversation changed. While Phillip was still very nice he definately put on the pressure to buy the product which I'm sure anyone would have done. We simply were not interested at that price and in the end he accepted our decision and we parted on good terms. This company seems to have a good product it is just not something that we think should cost that much.

They contacted us and asked to have a salesman come out and give an estimate. They tried to use a hard-sell tactic, and we decided not work with them.

The sales person showed up a little late, but was ready to get to work when she arrived. The presentation was good and detailed - although we felt she could take it down a few notches. Her attitude seemed a bit condescending. There were several red flags that popped up during her presentation. First, she expected us to sign a contract on the spot. We get several quotes and research the company and products before we sign any contract for work. High pressure sales only irritate us. The second red flag is that we were told no plumbing permit would be needed. That would be true if the plumbing was staying the same. We are planning to replace the tub in one bath and the shower pan in another bath to larger sizes. So the drains, showers head and controls would all need to be moved. The third red flag was that I wouldn't be allowed to use a crescent shaped shower curtain rod that I already have. She insisted we use only the curtain rod her company provides. The fourth red flag indicates the kind of person the company hires. She packed up her display bags and left the house. Not five minutes later there was a knock on the front door. It was our neighbor asking for the name and number of the person that just backed out of our driveway and into his car. The tire tracks in the fresh snow showed exactly what happened. She must have damage to her car and had to have known she backed into a car but left the scene anyway. The right thing to have done would be to take responsibility for her actions instead of fleeing the scene and turning an accident into a criminal event. This doesn't show a positive light on the person nor the company.

Everything went well. There were a couple of things we had to work through. Overall I was satisfied with the project. The initial salesperson was a little too high-pressure. He did not have enough knowledge to completely explain all the specifics of the project. We have an older home and we had to insist that someone else come out and when they did we were able to work things out. They did do quality work. They have a good group of porfessional folks working for them who are responsive. The overall cost of the project was a little bit more expensive than it could have been.

The installers were very friendly and professional. They cleaned up well - they didn't leave a speck of dirt behind. I put NA for the price because I really didn't shop around. Overall, it was a good experience.

Don't believe what they say. They have never fixed our windows correctly yet and I have still been calling them. They sent out a supervisor that said he would have someone come out to fix the kitchen window. I suggest you really shop around. The salesperson said he would be out during the installation process and he never showed up.

The materials for the windows and doors were outstanding. The installers were very professional and they know what they were doing. We did have to negotiate back and forth with the salesperson. If you can get past that, you will be happy with the installation and the end product.

They were good. We liked their windows. They sold us a package deal and along the way the salesperson that put the information on the contract put down that the materials and windows would be the same price over a span of time. They guaranteed the price for 2 years and over the course of time the costs go up and it changed the pricing. The last time we purchased windows we went through another company. The job Improveit! Home Remodeling did was fine and we are happy with the work they did.

I have used them for years for several projects. If you have any problems they will come right out.
