Showed up right on time. Removed and replaced my driveway all in one day. Amazing! Great quality, expert crew and very professional management and crew. I had no idea it was going to be this easy. Cost was much less than I had expected.

Just a few minutes after posting my request on HomeAdvisor, Alex called me back and made an appointment to see the job site. After contacting a few others, I decided they were clearly the best choice because of their knowledge and expertise. We made plans and Alex put me on the schedule. Alex kept in contact during the whole process. On the morning of the installation, the site supervisor and crew arrived precisely on-time. The crew had everything timed perfectly. Grading and pouring went smoothly and according to plan. They were able to fix a small problem area in my exiting driveway. They even accommodated my last-minute request for a minor changes to the plan. I highly recommend using Madewell Construction for any concrete work. They _REALLY_ know their stuff. Their professionalism, experience, and timeliness made this one of the most enjoyable contractor hires I've experienced.

Madewellâ s rep arrived when scheduled, and did a very thorough review of our needs. He then quickly followed up with a written quote and proposed date for completion. The quote was the highest I received, but I was clearly impressed with the thoroughness of Madewellâ s detailed preparation and explanations of the methods they would use. Just as promised, Madewellâ s crew, and their rep showed up on time, and completed three projects. They completed the pours and the finish work, and it was excellent. The crew cleaned up our property very well before leaving. Finally, a sub-contractor left a small mess on our property. When I contacted Madewell to ask them to contact their sub to come clean up their mess, Madewellâ s crew personally returned, and did the clean-up themselves. Bottom line is that I am very pleased with our new sidewalk, patio and building pad! It was well worth the extra bucks! These folks are real pros!

I am a REALTOR with over 30 years experience in the residential housing market and I generally get more than one bid for a project. Alex came out and measured my driveway and gave me a really good price and was a very professional individual. He explained everything and all went according to plan and he was able to have the job completed before it was originally scheduled. The finished product was beautiful and the property owner was pleased with me for a beautiful job, which is a good thing. Thank you Alex and MadeWell Construction for a new driveway!

The job; 24x24 garage foundation with footer and a 30'x 5'high retaining wall. They excavated the foundation and retaining wall, removed and replaced drive way around and near excavated areas. First, the good news. Very professional and the time line was closely followed (to their detriment). The communication was great. Now the other. Clean up was so-so. I spent a great deal of time picking up nails and some nails from the forming still embedded in concrete. Nails and driveways are not good. The finish was supposed to be smooth and it is close but far from smooth. Something went wrong with the concrete as it did not harden quickly. They did not finish the pour until 6 PM so they stayed until midnight trying to get the finish on it but it would not harden. They returned the next morning but by then it was not going to get smooth. Georgia red clay stains all over the finish. Spent 10 hours with a 3000 PSI pressure washer going inch by inch over garage area but the result is a heavily stained garage floor. I will have to install an epoxy paint to hide it. This is an update. It rained today and I learned I cannot build on the new garage slab because the garage will flood when it rains. It was my greatest concern. I stated many times the garage needed to drain into the new driveway area which they installed. I do not know what went wrong with the grading. They had a laser level device. It does drain fairly well but there is a half inch deep puddle about 2ft wide and 6 feet long running along the retention wall and is exactly where the pressure treated base plate should go. That area will not drain. Then on the other side the same thing but only less. It can be overcome by installing one course of Concrete Header Block and raising everything by 4 inches. Whew! That is going to cost. Anyhow Alex sending someone to look. We will see what happens.

Alex was excellent to work with. He was quick to respond to emails and text messages. The work was started promptly and completed in an extremely timely manner. The end result was excellent workmanship.

Made well is the real deal. They gave us a quote for a decent sized concrete residential job that was exactly what we had figured it would cost. They gave us a perfect time line that worked with us. And they finished it quickly and the job is better than we expected. I don’t usually give 5 stars but Madewell 100% deserves it. I would highly recommend them for any resendital job you have and look forward to working with them again in the future!
