A-1 Quality Seamless Gutters

This was a very smooth transaction. I found the people of A-1 to be very easy to work with. I received three bids on this project (all three contractors were chosen through Angie's List) and even though A-1 was not the lowest bid, A-1 was chosen for their knowledge and responsiveness.

I called this company because of their "A" rating on Angie's List. They were very personable. Thank you Sonya and John. One of the downspouts became detached from the house and was swinging in the wind, plus four other downspouts needed to be extended in order to properly drain water from the house after 5 years of soil settling from our new build. We called a total of 5 companies. Two companies never answered the phones. I left messages (2) for BenchMark explaining how important it is was to have the detached downspout repaired. B & T Roofing took my message and said the earliest they could come out would be mid-March. But A-1 Quality Seamless Gutters took my concerns seriously. Sonya kept in touch with me, answered my questions and set-up and appointment for John to come out that same day. I missed my first appointment because of a mix-up. I called Sonya who contacted John. He came back that same day within minutes. He walked around our property with me and pointed out suggestions for the other four downspouts. Originally, we thought only 3 downspouts were in need of repair, but it turned out all five where in need. He was also very concerned with matching the color of the downspouts with the extensions. He brought samples with him but couldn't find the exact color of our downspouts in his sample, but said that he will check with other suppliers if needed. It turned out he didn't need to, we found the matching color on their site. We were very pleased that even if they didn't carry the color, they were very willing to find it for us. That's how important it was to him, because it was important to us. I want to thank A-1 Quality Seamless Gutters for their prompt response and courtesy. We have landscaping all around our home except around one downspout, they did such a neat job repairing the downspouts, there was no disturbance to the shrubs. The price was also great! I also want to thank the other companies for not caring or responding to our needs, Benchmark, B & T Roofing, RickMark Gutters and to Gutter King of Columbus for being closed. I recommend A-1 Quality Seamless Gutters. When the time comes for new gutters we will be returning customers.

THE GUTTERS ON MY SECOND FLOOR BECAME CLOGGED. WATER WAS POURING DOWN THE SIDE OF MY HOUSE, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE INTERIOR WALLS. I CALLED A-1 IN A PANIC. THEY RE-ARRANGED THEIR SCHEDULE AND CAME THE SAME DAY I CALLED THEM. JOHN WAS VERY NICE AND ACCOMMODATING, AND THEIR PRICE WAS REASONABLE.

After losing one section of gutter, I got estimates both for replacing only the lost section and doing the entire house, and selected A-1 to do the entire house. They sent their estimate via e-mail, which was very convenient for me. At the same time, I was getting some paint work done, and A-1 was very accommodating about waiting until that was completed. Once the paint work was finished, they were able to schedule the job quickly on short notice. The gutters were installed while I was out, and when I arrived home, upon looking over the gutters, I noticed a couple scratches about an inch long on the front section. I called the next day and John came out that day to check them out. The first repair didn't hide the scratches completely, and another crew came out and sprayed the area in question, and it's a good match to the finish on the gutter. The gutters are a vast improvement and I was very pleased with the work.

This company was great to work with. They had a great price and a nice quality of gutter. It matched the gutter on my house. They talked about the problem and stopped the leakage that caused me to have part of the gutter replaced. They had good workmanship.

We contacted this company through Angie's List to get an estimate on adding a downspout. Although they came out to our house within two days to take a look at the job, it took nearly a week to get a response email from them with the actual estimate. They weren't the lowest estimate that we got, but it wasn't unreasonable. I would still contact them again for future estimates.

I generally try to avoid companies with the names, "ABC, A-1, AAA, etc. I took a chance in this case because of the company profile, and hired A-1 Seamless gutters. They did a great job. Gave me ideas and options for preventative maintenance separately priced. They were not the lowest priced company, nor were they the highest. They did a great job and did it pretty close to the time frame that they told me. I will use them again.

It was wonderful. They took care of everything while I was gone and when I got home, the job was cleaned up and done well. We were definitely very pleased with the results.

They were professional and did a good job. Their prices were reasonable and I have been pleased with them and would recommend them to others.

This is such a great company. When I call I almost always get the owner; they do quick and professional estimates, answer questions and schedule the work quickly and conveniently. The price is high, but fair, and I get a lot of value out of the piece of mind I get because I know they will do a great job.

I was very impressed with John Luft. He pointed out where we needed to replace our gutters and where we needed repair. He did not try to sell us an entire gutter replacement. Our new and repaired gutters work very well. One thing that concerned me was that the installers seemed to be in a rush. They forgot to do one part of the job and left a mess all over my yard. In addition to the gunk in my gutters, they left many screws and pieces of metal on my yard. However, when I called the company to finish the job, they responded quickly and courteously.

John Luft was very thorough in his estimate. He showed me where downspouts were splitting at the seams. We also discussed the eave and soffit replacement in 2 areas. He was very helpful in educating me as to what to look for in gutter/downspout replacements. This helped me tremendously with the other 2 estimates I later received from other vendors. The work was nicely done. Clean up was excellent. You could not tell anyone had been there. I told John there were 3 minor adjustments that needed to be done. His foremen came out and swiftly corrected those issues. I am an executive with a central OH company and have very high standards. I can be a service provider's worst nightmare if work is not done to my expectation. I highly recommend A-1 Seamless Gutters.

This was our second time using this company and, once again, we were very satisfied. The work was excellent. The repairman even re-caulked all of our gutters while I cleaned out a clogged drain line to the street while he had the old downspout off and before attaching the new one.

After getting several shockingly high estimates from three gutter replacement companies I called A-1 Seamless Gutters. A-1 Seamless Gutters offered a much lower price for replacement gutters and a "Leaf Relief" system. They were very professional on the phone and on the job. Our new gutters look good and work great. I was very happy with A-1 Seamless Gutters and the service they provided. Definitely would use them again in the future.

It was done while I was at work, and when I got home I was not happy with the job. The work was sloppy and inadequate, and they left the slate tiles with metal clips on them, that weren't there before. "Mark" came out and argued with me regarding the metal clips already being in place and I proved they were not with a picture. A Mr. Day called me and came out and said that the existing materials were already there but he arranged to have the work redone. The two guys that came back were great and did a really good job.

I was pleased with the work over all, had to have them come back to adjust the gutters on the house, after that there were no problems. They very good to return calls and punctuality. They made sure they cleaned up everything when they were done.

A very affordable fix to a major problem. Definitely use this company.

The quote was on the lower side of what I saw, but still $20-30 more then the lowest bid. Also, the estimate they sent did not include a quote for gutter guards.

They did a pretty good job. They came out and took care of it. The owner came out to do the estimate. They came out soon after that and installed it. They took care of the problem promptly.

I used them commercially and residentially. I always call them.

They provided a estimate within a few days. The work was scheduled within a couple of weeks. We got a call before the expected time the work was to be done asking for approval to do the work early. The workmen arrived at the scheduled time. They could not complete the work because of bad weather, but they came back the following day and completed the work. They also completely removed the old gutters and cleaned up afterward. We are very pleased with the price quoted and the work done.

All my questions were answered before the work started, they showed up on time to do the work, they were polite and professional, did a nice job, and cleaned up when they were done. After the work was completed, I needed some additional work, and I had some questions about what had been done. John came out and looked over the job, and determined that some improvements could be made. The additional work that I requested was done at minimal cost, and I was not charged for the re-dos. I have confidence that the job was done right, and that A-1 will stand by their work.

They did a good job. They left a few extra gutter pieces in the yard but that wasn't a big deal. In and out in one day.

They returned phone calls promptly. John Luft was very professional and prompt. He explained what type of gutters we would need and recommend a leaf relief system to keep the gutters clean. The workers arrived on time and left no mess. They were meticulous with lots of attentions to detail. They did their job and were on their way. You couldn't ask for a better group of fellows. Real craftsman!
