He had to excavate, repair the walls as well as the drain tile. He then had to seal the walls. He performed a camera inspection of the drain tile and back filled this with stone. The owner's name is Frank. He was one of the few of many that I received from the list that actually will answer his phone calls. I could not get people to call me back at this time of year as they were all booked up. He understood the severity of the issue and came right out. He gave us the best estimate along with the best and worst case scenarios of cost. He was thinking the job would cost $3,000.00. Based upon the closing date deadline, he was able to squeeze us in. This was keeping me up at night and they finished the job. His crew was fantastic. They showed up on time and were so careful to protect my property. They were polite, professional and Frank was there for the entirety of the job ensuring everything was done correctly.

It went very well. The work is top notch and everything looks great. The basement is dry through all of our recent rainstorms.

I actually didn't end up using them because I decided to have the job done indoors which was out of their scope. He didn't seem to think that would fix the problem. He followed up with one sales call and didn't push my decision. While I really, really hope my inside work will do the trick, I have his card in my home improvements folder in case I need the outside done....he was professional, personable and very open to ALL my questions..He was and quot;real peopleand quot; which I learned through trials is hard to find! Representative was responsive, quickly coming out to look at our basement and give us a quote. Everything was satisfactory except there was no consideration of the specifics of our situation. The company appears to have a one-size-fits-all for all water leakage issues, and we raised questions about what was causing water leakage in our house, we weren't able to get answers. In the end, we chose not to use the waterproofing service because we were uncertain if such an expensive solution was required. We dealt with problem ourselves with $100 of materials (v. and gt;$7000 estimate).

Since we had been experiencing water in our basement we had a need for basement waterproofing. On Call Waterproofing (Frank Tomaro) was referred to us by a family member. This is one referral that was right on the spot. Frank arrived on time for our initial appointment and assessed our situation. He then explained what was needed and provided a detailed explanation of how it would be accomplished. Once the work started (ahead of the schedule) Frank and his crew worked diligently doing everything that was explained and completed the project on time as planned. Although not part of the original quote, I asked Frank to look at a few extras that included adding an additional drain and concrete driveway repair which experienced some damage for the past winter. Frank reviewed my request, quoted it on the spot and agreed to do the work with a handshake. This additional work was within the original time-frame as well. Bottom line we were very pleased with Frank Tomaro and On Call Waterproofing from start to finish and pricing was competitive. We would certainly use On Call Waterproofing again and not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Other than the weather, which no one can control, the work went smoothly. He encountered the cross connected sewers when applying for a permit to waterproof. Rather than make a big deal out of it, he simply quoted the repair to get the job back on track. Frank was reasonable, fair, and very professional in his original quote and presentation. His quality of work is very good. I would recommend him to anyone.
