Jim's All Seasons LLC

I have been trying three years to find someone to trim four of my trees. Found Jim's All Seasons on Angie's List. He returned my call within one hour, was out to my home to look at the trees while I was at work and called me back again within three hours. Although I was ready to commit over the phone, Jim insisted he meet me one-on-one to make sure all my expectations were met and there were no misunderstanding on what they would do. We were scheduled to meet the next day, when Jim called to request we met that same evening as he can two jobs the next day near where I lived and would add my home to the day's schedule if it was convenient for me. We met, he explained everything and scheduled for the next day. I did not have to make a down payment or pay immediately after the job was completed. Jim offered to come to my home at my convenience to pick up the payment. I was at work while the job was completed. When I came home, my yard was cleaned - they even brought my garbage cans up from the street to my garage. The only way you could tell work had been done was how beautiful the trees were shaped. I would recommend to eveyone. I like to have my trees trimmed every three years or so. It'll be a breeze in the future with Jim's All Seasons.

Contacted Jim's All Seasons Monday morning, he came out same day and called me with an estimate. Work was scheduled to be done next day, but another job ran over and they were not able to come out. Unfortunately, he was not able to call me to let me know until late (7:00 pm). He tried calling my work number but I had already left. As soon as I called him from my home phone he called me right back. Jim apologized profusely, sent his crew out first thing this morning (Wednesday). He called me early afternoon to let me know everything was done except for the stump grinding. We made arrangements for his guy to come out when I came home from work. I have to give him a lot of credit -- he came out and ground out the stump in the middle of snow storm! Overall did a great job. Very professional, thought his rates were reasonable. Start to finish everything was done in 48 hours. Would definitely recommend or hire again.

Went very well. They were very prompt. Made first contact on a Wednesday morning, and had an estimate by Wednesday night. Trees were removed on Thursday morning. On Saturday, someone came by and ground out the stumps. So it was all over within three days of first contact. They did a nice clean job. It was a bit tricky for the stump grinder, because the junipers had been used as a screen for the air conditioner, and stumps were only two feet away from the air conditioner. But they had the right equipment to get into tight spaces, so it came off fine. All the people I dealt with were friendly, personable, and professional.

Everything went well. Jim arrived with a very professional crew and took down the tree quickly and safely. They cleaned up the area well.

Jim was very responsive when it came to providing a quote. They responded to a couple day turnaround request for service and arrived on time. They cut down the tree, cleaned the yard and provided solid recommendations on when and how to plant a replacement tree come spring. Overall a great experience.

Jim called and gave me a few dates depending on the weather, he showed up when he said he would and completed the job. He was courteous and cleaned up very nicely. I will definitely call him again.

All went well. The trees were pruned appropriately and they look much better. They had a crew of 3 people to trim the branches and mulch the wood. Whenever there was a break for one of the guys they raked my leaves! What a nice surprise!

I originally had requested a quote for the trimming of the two largest trees in my yard. I was advised that the maple in the backyard had to be climbed because the "cherry picker" could not reach it due to how it is situated behind the garage and a shed. Overall, the crew was friendly and efficient. While talking to them (Jim), I decided on the spot to remove three smaller trees that were dying/ugly/crowding the landscaping. I complimented Jim on the fact that he actually returned a call when he said he would, quoted a reasonable price, showed up on time and had an efficient crew. Good experience.

During a storm with very high winds the preceding week, a large limb had fallen from my large tree and lodged on another branch posing a safety concern. Within 24 hours of calling Jim, he inspected the tree and called me with his assessment. Because of it being a safety concern, he scheduled me at the top of his list. His crew did an outstanding job and left the yard clean of any debris.

After approximately 1/3 of our very large 70+ year old tree fell during the night in our yard and our neighbors yard, we called Jim's All Seasons to remove the tree and entirely clean up the elderly neighbor's yard and remove all traces of the offending tree. They responded very quickly and cut up the large tree portions and hauled away all of the refuse. By 1:00 PM they had finished all of the cleanup and were gone. We booked an appointment with them to come back and take down the diseased tree. They arrived on the date of the tree removal promptly and worked tirelessly to cut down the very tall and wide tree. The owner was here most of the day with the crew and they were very concerned about the safety of the crew and the residents. They completely took down the tree, cleaned up all of the mess of the tree removal, and were gone by 4:00 PM. They are professional, committed to safety, and respond timely. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

All crew members worked efficiently and professionally. They arrived on the date that was scheduled and removed one large tree, trimmed two others and cleaned up after themselves in the estimated time they stated. The estimate for the removal of the tree was quite a bit lower than the other estimates that we received. The price was the same as the estimate and we are very happy to save money and also have a good quality job.

Jim was very concientious - he called before he did the work to verify what I expected explained some possible issues and complications - got my ok and proceeded. I was very happy with the work. Clean up was perfect

Jim retuned my call the same day. He came by the next day and gave me an estimate. We scheduled the work for the following week. The day before the work was to be done, Jim called to ask if they could come out that day instead. Within a half hour they arrived. Jim and his 2 employees were very professional and did an excellent job trimming the trees, disposing of the debris and cleaning up after. I was very satisfied with their work and would use this company again.

They were very prompt. The clean-up was excellence. Things went fine.

Jim's company was the first positive tree service encounter we have had. Jim came over within a day or 2 to do the estimate, and was punctual, and informative. We had a 80-100 year old maple tree that had lost a very large limb, and he honestly told us that the tree could be trimmed, but the large amount of trimming it required would probably kill the tree. He recommended, instead to just remove the tree all at once. This would save us money, by eliminating a second trip from his tree service. We scheduled him to do the work, and he was able to do the job within a week. The day of the service the Jim and the crew worked hard, and safe. The men were very safe in using the bucket and other OSHA approved gear. The wood was cut into firewood sized pieces, and the rest was chipped. Jim's tree service also trimmed the dead wood from 6 of our other trees, so that it would not pose a safety threat to those walking below and removed a smaller maple that was not healthy. Jim was punctual with his appointments, did the work he was supposed to, in a timely, safe and cost effective manner. The crew cleaned up after themselves. His company could be a model for other tree services. We WILL use him again (and with all the trees we have, it will probably be sooner than later!)

Jim was extremely responsive, stopping by the day after I called to leave an estimate. The work was done on the scheduled date with minimal disruption to plants around the trees. Price was best of the three estimates I received. Excellent work!

The company called us back right away. Jim came out the next day to look at the tree and give us an estimate, and then was able to come out within a couple days to do the job. They finished everything quickly, and threw all the branches in their chipper, and cleaned up scraps from the yard. We were very happy with the work they did and felt that the cost was reasonable.

Jim came by to inspect the tree and gave us an estimate within 2 days of calling. On the scheduled day, his crew showed up punctually at the agreed time. They were well-mannered, started to work promptly and completed the work to my satisfaction. The roof was cleaned (the tree had branches overhanging my house) and my yard was raked and all debris removed. A very professional job. I used the $5 coupon from this website. The only problem I had was that they wouldn't accept a credit card (their website stated they accepted credit cards). I payed by personal check. Jim showed up when the crew was finishing and we talked about that. He said he was in the process of correcting that.

The project went very well. My voicemail message was returned within an hour and Jim came out the next day and provided an estimate. The following day his crew came out and the large tree was gone as were the dangling and cracked branches. He was easily accessible throughout the process. We appreciated having the work done so quickly. Final price was as estimated.

They were very good and very reasonable.

I had left messages with 3 tree trimming companies on 7/30/10-7/31/10. Jim was the only one who called me by 8/2 to discuss the 2 trees i wanted trimmed. We met at the property i had recently purchased on 8/3 and i accepted his bid. Another compamy had left an estimate in my mailbox, but i didn't see until after meeting with Jim. Fortunately Jim's bid was lower. He wasn't sure if he could get the job done until 8/6, but was able to do the job the next day. I had talked with my new neighbor prior asking who she had used to trim her trees, but we found out he had retired. She also needed some trimming and Jim was able to do both yards on the same day.

The job was nothing that I would want to do myself. The price was really reasonable. I asked him some questions about some other trees, but he didn't try to increase the business or sell me any extra. He let me know that the other trees were not a problem. He came out and gave me an estimate, and it was really soon after that he came to do the job. There were 3-4 workers that came out with him. They had to use a bucket truck. They were done within a couple of hours. They cleaned up afterwards. They asked if I wanted the stump left or ground up. Jim gave me some good advice. He was reasonable and took care of business. I was expecting to pay a lot more. They were punctual. They knew what they were doing, and didn't make it anymore or any less than what it was. I just dealt mainly with Jim. I didn't deal with any of the workers.

The crew of 4 arrived on time. They were very courteous and efficient. All debris was shedded on site; my yard was in perfect order when they had finished. The end result was a beautiful curb appeal!!

They did excellent work at a fair price. I will definitely use them again. Given the size of the tree and its location, most tree services would not even quote the job. Jim and his team removed the tree and all of the wood without so much as bending the ground cover beneath it. They cleaned the surrounding area and left no signs that they were even there - apart from the tree being gone. Great job! Highly recommended.
