Description of Work: Multiple visits: They came in November in a cold spell to stop the leak from a radiator that was leaking into the basement, did that and recommended a contractor to remove the asbestos insulation, and then came back and installed the off valves on the line. Several weeks later they returned and replaced the radiator pipes to restore heat to our living room. Good experience, we have used Hahn before and will again.

Also shimmed one radiator to stop loud banging and taught me how system works and how to adjust each room. Worked exhaustively with home warranty people. my boiler has carpet all around and no mess was made. Can't say enough good things about whole experience. Thank you !

Description of Work: Had a furnace outage on a very cold day and they were able to come out the very same day, which was fantastic. They were also very prompt in their arrival. However, what happened after that was less positive. If I recall correctly, something was wrong with the pilot or the relays and that was fixed. However, for the first time in the 23 years that we lived there, on that very day, at the very moment the service man was there, the wiring to the thermostat allegedly "started" to short and blew out the transformer, which had to be replaced and for which I was charged. Then, he had to put in a temporary thermostat for which I was charged and I later found I was charged two times the retail cost. I was told to call to have a permanent wireless thermostat put in, at an additional fee. When I called, the quote for the thermostat was two times retail and the installation cost was huge. I ended up buying my own thermostat and had someone else install it. The total cost was about half of what they wanted to charge. The bottom line seems to have been that since I was in need, I was going to get the full charge and then some. Having something break for the first time at the very moment that the service man was there is very suspicious. Add to that, the company's marketing stickers were plastered by the service man in several places on the furnace and the hot water heater. I would not use them again.

Description of Work: We use them to maintain and resolve any issues with our boiler. They are knowledgable, fairly priced and prompt. What more could I ask for? :)
