+ -1 moreA FEW DAYS AFTER HANN INSTALLED THE NEW FAUCET, I NOTICED A LEAK UNDER THE SINK. HANN RETURNED TO FIX THE LEAK AND CHARGED ME FOR THE SECOND VISIT, EXPLAINING THAT BECAUSE I HAD BOUGHT THE FAUCET THROUGH A SOURCE OTHER THAN HANN, THEIR WORK WAS NOT WARRANTEED. I UNDERSTAND THE SPIRIT OF THAT POLICY, BUT IT SEEMS POSSIBLE TO ME THAT THE LEAK OCCURRED BECAUSE THE FAUCET WAS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED. IF THE PLUMBER WAS AT FAULT -- AND I HAVE NO CLEAR WAY OF KNOWING WHETHER HE WAS OR NOT -- THEN HANN SHOULD NOT HAVE CHARGED ME FOR THE RETURN VISIT. I''VE GIVEN THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, AND I PAID THE BILL FOR THE SECOND VISIT, BUT STILL, I HAVE A HARD TIME GIVING THEM HIGHEST MARKS. I HAVE TO TAKE SOME POINTS OFF, BECAUSE THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT HANN SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO IDENTIFY ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE FAUCET OR INSTALLATION BEFORE LEAVING MY HOME THE FIRST TIME. I PAY A PLUMBER TO DO A THOROUGHLY PROFESSIONAL JOB.
