Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration

They took two weeks to finish the job because they did the one carpet and then they took my rugs out and brought it back a week later. I was pleased with the service of the wall-to-wall carpet, but I paid extra for urine extraction in my rugs and I am not fairly pleased with it. I can still smell a whiff now and then and I spent over $200 on it and I am not thrilled about it. It is better than it was and maybe I am expecting too much, but the one carpet was very expensive and I can still see the stains a little bit and I can get a whiff occasionally. So, I can’t say I am happy with the rugs though I have never had any rugs cleaned before, but they did do a very good job on the wall-to-wall and I was very happy with that. They came when they said they would and they were professional. I might use them again probably at least for my wall-to-wall carpet.

The first application was good but not complete. We called the company and they came back out to make sure it was to our satisfaction.

I was/am very pleased with the service & will use them again. Chris was very pleasant, with a laid-back personality & said even thought they are in the Cincinnati area, they do have set days in the Dayton area. That was nice to know since I live in Dayton, for future carpet cleaning in our home.

This is the second time I have had to call Teasdale Fenton in one week due to an intestional problem with our dog. Last week they came and cleaned the family room...this week the dining room. This week I had the do some extra rooms because their prices are so reasonable. They are professional and do such an incredible job. We have used alot of carpet cleaning companies over the last 17 years but Teasdale Fenton has to be one of the best we have ever used. I would highly recommend them.

They always do an excellent job with the area rugs. They have reasonable pricing and have special deals throughout the year.

They were very efficient, punctual and it didn't take them very long to do it. The rugs looked nice when they were finished. It was given to me as a gift.

I was am so pleased at Chris and Bill were honest and didn't charge me for an unnecessary service that would have been over $250! I definitely recommend and will use again.

It was great. I thought it was unnecessary to charge for the landing on both staircases since each counted as a room. We have a very small landing. They were great though. The company charges a lot to have enzyme put down which is silly but yet again that is not the fault of the people who came and cleaned my carpets. They were excellent and very friendly. When I made the appointment the lady on the phone was very helpful. Would use again for sure.

I had them come out and clean my living room carpet and a Hallway... I had several stains that they did work on and did a good job with. they did come at the time promptly and did a good job. I would hire them again

They were very responsive, coming out with two hours after I called on a week day. The estimator was nice enough. Later that day two guys came out and tore out the wet carpet and pad, but not all the carpet that was wet. If they had torn out all the carpet that was wet they would have had to move some heavy furniture into another room. I kept feeling under the carpet and extending the sections they cut out. At some point they stopped and said it would be cheaper to have a carpet installer tear out the rest and that they would sanitize and dry out the rest. I was okay with that. The carpet was taken out and the floor sanitized in two hours. They left a dehumidifier and three fans for three days. The workers were also nice and did a neat job if not all that was estimated. The real issue came to billing. I told the TF estimator that insurance may cover the work but that the insurance adjustor had not come out yet to look at the damages. He gave me an estimate "not to exceed" a certain amount. When he came to collect payment, however, he wanted a much larger amount of money as he said, "because insurance is paying for it and I know the allowable rates." I argued that the work was not even done according to the original estimate in that furniture was not entirely moved off wet carpet and no furniture was blocked and no humidity testing was done and no application of protective coating to carpet was done. I ended up paying the full amount of the "not to exceed" estimate even though not everything was done as itemized in that estimate, but it was less than the insurance estimate. The real service was the speed at which they responded and the two hours of hauling out approximately 112 sq ft of saturated carpet and pad. I was also impressed that the company's owner has pride in the service they provide and seemed to really care about my experience. So even though there were a few snags, I would definitely use Teasdale Fenton again in such a situation.

Came down to basement office early in morning to find sump pump failed overnight during storm. 1" water. Called plumber I've used before. Came immediately and got rid of water. He recommended Teasdale Fenton. I called; they came within two hours with a crew of guys. All the stuff in the two rooms affected was moved to garage. Floating flooring materials were torn up, down to concrete, and disposed. Two enormous dehumidifiers for the space (26" x 15") were installed and ran for 3 days continually. They used electronic devices to determine whether water had entered walls. They filed the report with insurance and made initial calls. I paid deductible and the insurance company handled the rest. Removed dehumidifiers 8 days later.

When I called I asked for a Friday appointment; they had an opening between 2 and 4 p.m. the coming Friday. I explained I was using Angie's List special price of $89. The rep I talked to was aware of that special but also explained there was a fee for disposal which I appreciated knowing. I hate getting a 'surprise' on the final bill. On Friday, the guys arrived at 12:30 p.m. (1 1/2 hours early). They had tried to call my cell phone, but I did not have it with me. It was no problem that they showed up early although they could have called my home phone and might have gotten an answer. In any event, they asked if I wanted Scotch Gard on the carpets. My carpets are old (18 years) but still in pretty good shape and this cleaning is to try to avoid buying new flooring for another year or two. So he said he would do all the carpets for $60 which I agreed to. I know another carpet cleaning service I've had before charged over $100 for this treatment. They also explained they would not be able to get out the dark coloring around the baseboards; I was aware of this from previous cleaners but appreciated the information. Overal they did a very good (excellent) job! I will use them again.

Their card says 24 hour emegency services, and they do indeed do this. I called them at 1am for a sump pump emergency, and they were here and working by 2 am. They have put in fans and dehumidifiers and come back to move them and check on the progress.

They came the very next day I called. The technician was very kind and gave us information on how to prevent spots from dog pee. Very satisfied with the service.

this was a comeback within 6 months and get the same areas cleaned for $50. we have used them before, however, when the carpets dried there was dirty lines everywhere...it was like the dirty water flowed back onto the carpet. we called and they came back out to reclean the areas. they were nice, aplogized and came out. I am so upset, our carpets look worse than they did when they started. the spots they cleaned left big areas of dirty carpet, spots and overall was horrible.i did not call them back because i felt like i did not want to give them a 3rd time to re-soak the carpet and it look even worse.i quess i got what i paid for the second time and will know need to get them cleaned again by someone else.i did look on angie's list when i first contacted them...so i wanted to let other people know my experience. WOW..WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...THE OWNER, JIM, CALLED US THE VERY NEXT DAY AND APOLOGIZED FOR OUR EXPERIENCE. HE ASKED WHAT HE COULD DO TO MAKE IT RIGHT...HE WAS SINCERE AND WANTED TO DO ANYTHING HE COULD TO CHANGE OUR IMPRESSION. HE DID.... THEY CAME BACK OUT TODAY AND MY CARPET HAS NEVER LOOKED AND SMELLED SO GOOD....IT IS NICE TO KNOW THAT THERE IS STILL A BUSINESS THAT REALLY CARES AND BACKS IT UP. THEY WORKED VERY HARD TO RE-CLEAN THE CARPETS. I WANTED EVERYONE TO KNOW MY EXPERIENCE THE FIRST TIME....I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES PERFORMED...THERE IS A COMPANY OUT THERE THAT WILL TAKE THE TIME TO FIND OUT WHY AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE..WHAT EVER IT TAKES.. I AM SORRY THAT I DID NOT TRUST THE BUSINESS ENOUGH TO CALL BEFORE I WROTE.

They were very good. They were on time. They guy that did it was very professional and worked hard and got the job done in a hurry.

We wanted to get our carpets cleaned after a few years of a toddler's general use, and with a new baby coming into the house. Very pleased with results - the service was on time and professional, completed quickly. They moved the heavy furniture to clean. Be aware that like any carpet cleaning, it will be wet for a while - by the next morning everything was dry for us. We'll use them again.

I would have liked them to move my furniture to clean underneath. The price is very good. It is easy to make appointments with them. I called and they would be able to come out a few days later. I will continue to use them in the future.

Had issues at first, I was contacted by the Manger, who resolved problems to my satisfaction. He was very helpful. Carpet looks good. Did find out that if you want any furniture moved, you need to let the techs. know as some customers do not want furniture moved. I would use them again. *********** IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!! They were fine. They cleaned carpets. They also did tile cleaning. They were able to come right away. They did a good job.
